Hic sunt dracones. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Here_be_dragons https://www.actualized.org/forum/search/?&q=hic sunt dracones&author=Water by the River No dragons Nothing to see here! But it seems after a little heavy dracones-partying some time back in the day, the most obvious "nothing to see here" performances ebbed a bit down. Godspeed! Nessie & dracones & Angels & Demons swimming & frolocking in the River & biting our heroic psychedelic avantgarde pioneers to the best of their abilities. Even Truth-loving ones. Its their Raison d'Être. The only thing they can't stand is love & compassion & boddhichitta. Truth-Love alone they eat for breakfast. Musical Coda playing by the River: Why? Its Game Lila on. Dr. John Churchill paraphrased: Its true that it can be considered a divine adventure, a divine play & comedy, but its also a f****** war. PS: Of course the higher dimensional (Alien) subtle beings/intelligences/entities are by a vast majority non-demonic/evil, although some high-performance higher dimensional dark/subtle beings have also been reported since the dawn of time. Not ones standard demon. And if operating in subtle realms (aka psychedelic trips), one better is firmly rooted on the Light side of the Force. Or one tends to attract f****** smart demonic distorter-shadows: Please allow me to introduce myself... And having these chaps with style & taste in ones pit crew... can be quite a show. -

The book shows how complex past developments have been, and that we often get just a "white-washed" version, like a lense that was created in the Yoga-movements of the last 100-200 years. Same with Buddhism. Just look up Tantra and Tantric Buddhism, for example at David Gordon White. Whoopsi. Yoga is a complex thing too, as is Tantra. David Gordon White has interesting books.... For example "Daemons Are Forever: Contacts and Exchanges in the Eurasian Pandemonium". Fascinating. It also highlights that people are often playing with psychedelics and are not aware which doors in the Multiverse they open. And what can be behind them... A little preparation, knowledge of history, and respect is quite benefical in the opinion of yours truly. Hic sunt dracones. And dracones sometimes are more hungry than playful. Strange vibe from Sinister Yogis? Yes. Better go directly to the mountain summit (Enlightenment) than taking detours in shady valleys. But knowing that the shady valleys exist, and a little bit of care is indicated, that is quite helpful for the prepared mountaineer. Luckily, Hollywood already has a few-minute trailer: "...Teach me! No. " Guess what the authors of these themes (and Dr. Strange) did back in the day.... https://www.psychedelics.com/articles/doctor-strange-steve-englehart-and-lsd/ Fascinating place, our little earth hovering in a vast Universe & Multiverse beyond it Not Selling Darth Vader/Sinister Yogi practices by the River -
Hi Pudgey, suffer in cycles. They have fun doing evil, and then they suffer. Big times. Or ever heard that the evil-spirit in the evil-haunted house is happy ever after? . Yeah, that is why he became an evil spirit in a haunted house. Sounds like a very smart idea. Maybe the evil entity likes to play with you afterwards so much that you can take him home, and later on go bat-shit-crazy, or get cancer, or I don't know what? How do you think entities were being summoned over the centuries in the history of humanity? With psychedelics of course. Starting in prehistoric times. And good look getting rid of your new shadow then. Oh my, give it a try and see if it causes suffering or not. Then tell us about Karma 1 0 1. Sorry, that recommendation was a bit unresponsible. My bad. Sure there is. And "insane levels of consciousness" or "insigh" into what? Appearance/Form/Arisings IN Absolute Reality. N+1, evermore, forever. You never "arrive" somewhere (IT is infinite and Infinity). And while doing that and not being fully enlightened (or BEING Ones True Nature, Absolute Reality): Suffering in cycles. "I have never claimed that psychedelics result in the lack of suffering." But at least I got the message that the end of psychological suffering (or Full Enlightenment) was declared impossible, or at least as lower in value or priority (like in "spiritual summom bonum, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summum_bonum) to ever new and higher Awakenings. Please correct me if I got the wrong impression. Look, exploring Reality with ever new Awakenings: Wonderful, I am all for it! It is the future of Humanity, and you are a pioneer. There are literally endless dimensions to be explored. By the way, do you know the work of Jurgen Ziewe (longtime Out of body explorer, with legit Enlightenment experiences)? (http://www.multidimensionalman.com/Multidimensional-Man/Model_of_the_Multidimensional_Universe.html ; http://www.multidimensionalman.com/Multidimensional-Man/Higher_Mental_Planes_or_Heaven_Worlds.html ; http://www.multidimensionalman.com/Multidimensional-Man/Life_after_death_-_a_description_of_the_afterlife.html ) for example. I am sure you would love it. The only problem I see is giving that higher exploration of ever higher Awakenings n+1 more value/priority over stabilzing in ones True Being (Full Enlightenment). Because it will lead to more suffering for many, including you. That is as far as I can see that is pretty much the only point where we have different perspectives. And please take care that you dont take some demons/angels (sorry old fashioned wording from a few centuries ago) Aliens of the not so well meaning kind (Jaques Valle, Passport to Magonia: From Folklore to Flying Saucers; Charles Upton, The Alien Disclosure Deception; Graham Hancock, Supernatural) back home from the exploration, and go really insane and not just a bit alien insane. And that is meant not ironically, but well meaning and respectfully. Hic sunt dracones. All the best for your future journey, and same for all forum participants. Really. Water by the River -

Thank you. I hesitated to link that quote of approval Leo has given to the Supreme Source/Kulayarāja Tantra. Leo will probably never approve anything like that ever again. On the other side, considering the current trip and bashing since then, he wouldn't do anyway. But who knows... Lets see if some reasons come across for downplaying Full Enlightenment vs. "God-Realization" Leo-style. I just fear he is racking up lots of bad Karma. And at the end of the day every being just wants a happy & blissful life. Like every being, by definition. Everything else is fooling ourselves. And bad Karma can prevent that happy and blissful life . For him and his followers. Such is the Intelligence of the Universe and Maya. But the game/Lila needs its heroes. And there are also Tragic Heroes. And heroes go into dragon-land: Hic sunt dracones. Hic sunt Aliens. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tragic_hero Nothing new under the sun... Water by the River PS: Although my view is higher than the sky, My respect for the cause and effect of actions is as fine as grains of flour. – Padmasambhava “Guru Rinpoche”. That is the quote I orient my life on a relative level on. A deal with the Universe, so to say. And it has served me very very well. Like in "wouldn't have believed how well" 10 years ago, what can be possible. But that is another story I won't tell for the foreseeable future. Nobody, even the Enlightened Ones, are above the law of Karma. It is the nature of such a coherent dream/Universe of ours. Just the emotional/suffering severity of the impact varies. And the not stable enlightened ones, and not enlightened ones, are in the merciless claws of Samsara. And that is why the quote above is of paramount importance. -

"Man, you, razard and others have been brainwashed, you have no idea what awakening is. no wonder leo doesn't come here anymore, he must be ashamed. You look like the founders of a sect." Well, despite all the awesome stuff in many videos, there was a turn taken in the wrong direction some time ago... Solipsism & Infinity of Gods.... And the sad thing is: How much more obvious could it get than with our Gladiator here, busy chopping the Non-Believers.... Just to make it clear: Our founder is definitely not the gentlemen described in the song below. But the "guy" of the song (or rather: a lady named Maya) needs to be taken very very seriously. Her game is the most brilliant game of all in the whole Universe, the illusion of the separate self. Her game is largely based on narcicissm, self-importance and ego-inflation. By definition! How else keep the separate-self-illusion going? "Pleased to meet you Hope you guess my name But what's puzzling you Is the nature of my game" Literally! And if one goes tripping: Hic sunt dracones. For the topic of Salvijus and Breakingthewall: Causal States vs. states of void/formlessness and totality of manifestation (Whiteout,Infinity) at any time (low causal). Yours truly is a bit an "Integration aficionado" of different systems, just to get to the deep structures of the different paths up the mountain. Wilbers High Causal is the Abyss of Absolute Nothingness, Cessation, Nirvikalpa. The passing of that often enough opens the door for getting empty enough to maintain constant Nondual Realization in daily life. Or to directly intuit the essence of any manifestation, Nothingness, Infinite Reality. Wilbers Low Causal: The Totality of manifestation (Whiteout,Infinity) at any time (low causal). @Breakingthewall, what the void-state that you describe is I can't tell based just based on your description. It doesn't sound like a black-out like Cessation, doesn't have its effects, and doesn't fit the ladder described above. But the pool of causal states is wide... Descriptions of cessation one can find at Ingram, Thisdell and Frank Yang. Wilber also describes the Whiteout somewhere else, but I don't have that in my files/notes. Here are some quotes and perspectives from Ken Wilbers system on the topic. Wilber normally provides a very good Ontology. Maybe you find that interesting. My personal perspective is on one of my last posts on causal states, which I don't want to repeat here. Excerpt 1: And from Wilber - Sex,Ecology, Spirituality: And what is also very useful: Wilber, Waves, streams, states, and self: An outline of an integral psychology. And Wilber, Religion of the Future. And what both of you probably will really like is Halaw, God is Nothingness, and Wolinsky, "The End of the Game - Deconstructing the Portals to the Absolute". On both books I have written something in this thread: The High Causal States are always easy to spot in descriptions. Passing through these fully empty and impersonal states is in many systems the opening gate to entering the stages Nondual Realization, because states are known where the separate self and any form of Duality just is not. The Nondual Realization/Full Enlightenment (NOT only the Unity with the Visual Field), but also the Impersonal Emptiness of the High Causal States integrated are also easy to spot in any description/system We are that reality. When you understand this, you see that you are nothing, and being nothing, you are everything. That is all. Kalu Rinpoche Anything from subtle states to low causal states can be quite a Jungle in systems/descriptions which is to be expected, because here the infinite manifestation begins. not only the dimensions/realties experienced can vary, but the interpretation varies with the conceptual system the subject travels... And: Hic sunt dracones Aliens Maybe that is interesting & useful for you. Wilbers ontological system worked very well for me to orient myself in often very differing systems/descriptions. See for example Lex Hixon, Coming Home. The Experience of Enlightenment in Sacred Traditions. The variety of the description of paths and states is vast, and the universal deep structures often hard to spot. Selling Water by the River -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_7:16 ... just kidding Leos Teachings hold a lot of potential, and my guess is that soon as they evolve over the Solipsistic/Infinity of Gods - phase (please excuse my humble opinion), and no longer confuse a not-so-empty God-(separate)-self with the Absolute Emptiness of the Absolute/Reality, or the Absolute Empty Abyss of Nothingness of Impersonal Consciousness, the "fruits" (Matthew 7:16) will also be marvelous. I guess there is quite a high chance that that will happen. He is smart and diligent, and has published some awesome videos on bias and self-deception and the like, not to speak of all the other videos which contain really some great stuff. But in this Lila nothing is predetermined or certain. So, as always: Enjoy the show, and Bon voyage! As soon as every little subtle remaining -separate-self-arising/lense/bias/awareness of emptiness/awareness of being/awareness of being God or Reality or Alien or whatever, anything at all/awareness of being anything- is transcended/seen&let go/subject made object/ burned and is no longer colouring the experience of Infinite Reality or True Identity of Impersonal Infinite Consciousness, then "burned by the everburning flame of ones own primordial nature —all ego-consciousness, all delusive feelings and thoughts and perceptions will perish with your ego-root and the true source of your Self-nature will appear. You will feel resurrected, all sickness having completely vanished, and will experience genuine peace and joy. You will be entirely free." - first part yours truly, second part in quotation marks by Bassui (also below). I wish him exactly this genuine peace and joy permanently in daily life that comes along the permanent realization/waking up. Then one is the whole Enchilada, watching itself, being absolutely Nothing(ness)..... and Nothingness never has a problem, only can contain them... moving around in itself like mosquitoes, but then of the slow flying version, easy to splat/transcend/cutoff. Sorry, probably not a Boddhisattva-style metaphor. More on the mosquitoes see below: So, it seems, until then: With every heroic pioneering effort, there is certain danger. Hic sunt dracones! https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hic_sunt_dracones Water by the River PS: The full quote, from Three Pillars of Zen, Kapleau: Bassui: If you push forward with your last ounce of strength at the very point where the path of your thinking has been blocked, and then, completely stymied, leap with hands high in the air into the tremendous abyss of fire confronting you—into the ever-burning flame of your own primordial nature—all ego-consciousness, all delusive feelings and thoughts and perceptions will perish with your ego-root and the true source of your Self-nature will appear. You will feel resurrected, all sickness having completely vanished, and will experience genuine peace and joy. You will be entirely free. For the first time you will realize that walking on water is like walking on ground and walking on ground like walking on water; that all day long there is speaking, yet no word is ever spoken; that throughout the day there is walking, yet no step is ever taken; that while the clouds are rising over the southern mountains their rain is falling over the northern range; that when the lecture gong is struck in China the lecture begins in Korea; that sitting alone in a ten-foot-square room you meet all the Buddhas of the ten quarters; that without seeing a word you read the more than seven thousand volumes of the sutras; that though you acquire all the merits and virtues of good actions, yet in fact there are none. PSPS: The rest of the Mosquito metaphor: .... And by the way, what one thinks what one is if one thinks oneself to be still anything at all: These are the mosquitos/separate-self-arisings (I-thoughts and I-feelings)/lenses/localizations, buzzing around in True You (the Totality), endlessly annoying, but making the hell of a show.... If they are too fast emerging/moving for oneself to easily squat them all at ones own convinience (genereally, keep the useful ones (the functional character) buzzing, squat the rest, the ones with "suffering" painted on them), then there is meditation/transcedence work to do. The meditation/Transcedence gets the bliss flowing by the way, which is like some smoke that slows down the moskitos, makes them easy to squat/transcend.
