  1. How can someone utilise the information provided here to reduce their suffering?
  2. Thanks. Yes, I have. At some point, even struggling becomes freedom. The distinction falls away. But that can only happen after liberation, as in my current case, not before while being deluded, as in Mikael89's.
  3. Good. Did this 'truth' confession make you feel better?
  4. @JonasVE12 Congratulations! What you said in your post was the truth. Were you scared from saying it? Did it hurt you or do you feel better now?
  5. Better than a nightmare fantasy though, right? How can you even know liberation while you are sucked into the seeking process? It's like living in a poor house, and then believing that money doesn't exist and that becoming rich is a 'cool fantasy'. @zeroISinfinity I'm woke.
  6. I didn't say that anyone 'should' do anything. A 'should' implies seeking. You don't have to do anything at all. You are free.
  7. You're not helping anyone with your simplistic contributions.
  8. @Mikael89 You were seeking, but the objective wasn't 'enlightenment'. Enlightenment is the end of all seeking, including the seeking of enlightenment, especially the seeking of enlightenment.
  9. I think no matter how sophisticated our maps become, the only way that we can learn something is through going through the process of trial and error. Experience is essential for learning. Babies watch adults walking, but they can't do it until they endure hundreds of attempts and falls.
  10. Yes, we are superior to other people in the spiritual and intellectual domains, and perhaps the theoretical and experiential domains as well. That's nothing to be ashamed of, and nothing to hide or lie about. Lionel Messi is superior to us in football. LeBron James is superior to all of us in basketball. Usain Bolt is better than all of us in running. Everyone has their unique specific privileges. That doesn't mean someone is absolutely better than the others, but rather that that someone is relatively better at doing their thing. Saying that some people are better than others is like saying that birds are better than cats, or that a fish is better than all of them since it can swim. That's obviously naive even to think of. Everyone is better than others in their field of expertise.
  11. Okay, enjoy your permanent residency in hell.
  12. They're the same thing to me. And they both are unhealthy if excessive. I'm now in a state of no-mind, I think however I want. I let the thoughts do their job, and I enjoy the process. My life is amazing right now!
  13. Not really. I stopped repressing and started expressing.
  14. 'I' don't make the distinctions, obviously. If you're asking about the process, then my best guess would be: by comparison, and shuffle. But the making of distinctions is direct and unexpected, so the other answer is that there's no process, distinctions come out of nowhere, or from somewhere unperceiveable. Absolute infinity is absolute infinity. It cannot be explained by words, if it was true. It has no qualities because qualities are limitations. But limitations must be included in infinity. So, it's a strange-loop. I will stop here because any further description wouldn't do the concept 'infinity' justice. Like I said, it can't be explained by language, because it's paradoxical and contradictory and illogical.
  15. Send John my prayers. I hope he recovers very soon and gets back better than ever ?❤️
  16. @tsuki I watched the video. Not much helpful.
  17. Why do you think they aren't enlightened? Just because they don't say/know that they're enlightened doesn't mean they aren't.
  18. It's so much more complicated than this, and this is already a huge highly complex project.
  19. You're kidding, right? Then reality would still be reality. I'm not sure I understand what you're referring to. 100% certainty in whatever means. That's what I'm doing, or at least what I think I'm doing. Hmmm.. ? Yes, a new distinction gets created every time I learn/understand/get an insight of something new.
  20. I've been pondering the concept 'infinity' for a few days now. What I don't understand yet is that how is it even possible to reach that conclusion? Because to say that reality is infinite, one must watch the infinite from the outside as an observer, but that defeats the original position of infinity. So, we get stuck in a strange-loop. So, I thought, what if reality is simply vastly huge compared to us human beings? Like the size of a microbe compared to a human being, etc... I mean it seems like it's infinite and there doesn't seem to be anything to contradict this. But on the other hand, there's nothing to support this claim for the reason I mentioned above. In mathematics we say that if a number is very little and close to zero, we can dismiss it and treat it like zero. The same applies for infinity, if a number is vastly huge, we can call it infinity. Is infinity merely a concept? I'm kind of stuck here. Any suggestions?
  21. @Aakash Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of having access to psychedelics. And I don't think reading will answer this question, cuz if it could, then I must have known it already from your answers. And for the record, I've watched Leo's series on Absolute Infinity.
  22. I don't want to go into the flawed metaphysics here as it would be a distraction from our context. "The mind is making distinctions, but what does it make distinctions in?" Reality, without further description. "That is absolute infinity. Have you not experienced this?" The answer is no, I haven't experienced absolute infinity yet. This is kind of a different variation of what's been said earlier. I understand it, those are all seemingly inevitable consequences of reality being infinite, but I'm questioning the underlying assumption of infinity. In other words, those are signs that reality is infinite, not proof. I want proof.
  23. Yes, but I'm not sure if reality is infinite or if infinity is just a concept. That's still something to be proven to me. Reality is some certain way and not every possible way. I understand that that's probably an inevitable consequence of infinity, but I think it could be something else as well, even though I don't know what that thing would be. Well, that's just a theory. It can't be done in practice. And let's say we're doing it through imagination, eventually we will end up at not-knowing anymore. How do we know that it's a never-ending stream? What if there was a beginning? For all I know, this finite human life has a beginning and will certainly end. This might be true, I'm not sure though. The number of which we can arbitrarily create is vastly huge, no arguments here. But infinite? I'm not sure. I don't understand how this works. I guess the video will explain. Added to watch later.
