Well, obviously we can't live without desire. I mean sure we can have some moments of no desire, but it's not the case in 99.99% of the time, so it doesn't matter. I see that you are very wise. Try to be more practical with the wisdom you have.

Be very careful here. You make unconditional love look very conditional. Interest in the absolute sense is unconditional. So, what you're saying here does not make sense. You can't avoid politics, but you can be aware/unaware of it. You are deeply involved in politics, and that is obvious from this thread that you have posted. You are creating arguments to support your claims by using language and you market them, what is all that but politics? The problem though is that you are conflating the relative with the absolute. You are subtly using stage Blue/Green politics and trying to push them and advance them against stage Yellow politics that is being advocated by Leo. You are simply a conservative, but you aren't aware of that.

@Shaun Enjoy yourself during this phase. It won't last long. Get comfortable, eat something you love, drink something you love, say whatever you feel like saying, take care of your health, go out in nature, watch a movie, get out of the thinking mode and enter the 'experiencing' mode, stop taking the thoughts seriously, listen to the music you love, journal about how you feel and be very very very specific. Basically ask yourself: what do I really want to do right now? And then go do it, whatever it might be. (hint: no answer means meditation, aka doing nothing). It always seems hopeless until it's over, and it always ends. Cheer up you beautiful creature!

@Umar_uk When someone calls someone else a snob or any other name, they're in fact just stating their opinions. That doesn't mean they're either right or wrong. Leo is not perfect, but your criticism of him here is very biased. He was just giving an advice for someone who's asking for help. No need for reacting to that. Notice that you've mixed up valid criticism with invalid criticism. That can lead you to confusion. I agree that Leo sometimes sounds like a jerk, but I know that he means good. But here I don't see Leo's advice wrong or arrogant in any sort of way.

@Aakash Why do you keep doing this? You say goodbye and then you come back. Much drama, right? You've done that a couple of times already, I'm not sure you're saying goodbye right now too. I'm not saying stop doing that or suppress your emotions or anything like that. I'm just saying be aware of your mechanisms and try to figure out why you act like that. This process is a part of shadow work. What could possibly be the reason behind your desire to say goodbye? And what could possibly be the reason behind your coming back? Questions like the above can be very helpful for you on your journey towards understanding yourself.

@Umar_uk Everyone is allowed to have an ego, including Leo and other teachers. Ego is okay, do you think it's not? Well, that's your ego. Without Leo, I was/would still have been completely lost. I appreciate what he's doing. It's called freedom of speech. You can't impose your opinions on others or shut them up. Talk, let others talk, and listen.

@AlphaAbundance Surrender (to) your desires, and lose yourself in the moment. Follow your heart, do whatever makes you feel better even if that means feeling confused. Accept confusion and embrace it.

This is a very powerful model! I'd add the transcendence of all models, the rise of the subconscious to merge with the conscious. It's when you actually stop needing models to live anymore, and they become just a cherry on top. You become detached and independent of models because you already have very great models to run your life and they've become a second nature to you. New models in this case are just interesting, not necessary. The best model is no-model.

@Gili Trawangan From the results. I mean that it's nice to try to make things better, no problem with that. But does anyone really have control over the situation? I mean you can only have a little bit of influence over other people's thinking. But unless you are the media or some very influential part of it, then I think it's hard and even a waste of time and energy to think about things that are out of your hands. I wouldn't personally invest my emotions, time, energy, thinking, etc... on such matters unless I know I can make a difference because I have more important and more relevant-to-my-life things to do and care about. @Inliytened1 One of the best things about dropping morality is that it automatically increases morality ??

Does it really matter? I only experience my life, therefore solipsism is true. Everyone else is saying that they're experiencing life as well, I can either believe them or not. I can treat others as computers or humans and I will suffer the consequences either way. How you feel about others is your business.

No. It's actual, right now. Thinking about it and trying to understand it is the abstraction.

@Preetom What about 'flow' moments? Like when you get in the vortex while doing some activity and just smoothly get in tune with everything.

@Preetom I appreciate the lie (science) more than Truth in this case, because being is always the case and is not helpful. Being does not require my understanding or knowledge or gratitude. Can I not be absorbed in being? Is that even possible? Because doing/thinking is still being.

@Preetom I'm sorry, I don't follow. The purpose of existence is for it just to be? I wouldn't even call that a purpose. A purpose implies going from point A to point B (duality). But what you're saying is that point A is point B (nonduality) and that's not purpose, that's just how it is.

I see, but you called what he said a wordplay. I don't think he's playing with words to prove he's right. He's probably convinced he's right. Anyway, I think you probably have more information on the subject, care to share more nuanced information than just telling him to not dismiss it? I mean you don't believe that by thinking young you become young, right?
