  1. @Charlotte I AM THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH Problem solved
  2. Why must we? And what does it mean for you to have control?
  3. You could have done that already. I'm not. We're discussing conscious politics. Look at what Leo said:
  4. And conscious politics doesn't include raising other people's consciousness?
  5. @Esoteric Well, you can't trust intuition either. Trust will make you prone to self-deception. Being radically open-minded is the key (it must include ISIS), because it will free you from intuition, since intuition is merely another product of thought, and open-mindedness is the black hole that destroys all the grounds that you might ever think of landing on as to trust. Radical open-mindedness will leave you groundless. And that will be one of the many ways towards realising Truth. Notice that you're still working out your thoughts/arguments through your same paradigms, which are keeping you from realising the truth that all paradigms/paths are not true, and that there's no path to walk.
  6. @nowimhere Meditate until your mind is calm and focused enough to investigate, then do self-inquiry. You can skip meditation, but the results will not be as good as with meditation. 10 mins of meditation will save you one hour of self-inquiry (not exactly, but you get the idea).
  7. @Paul92 What if we're both part and whole at the same time? Could there be a whole without its parts? Notice that you are focusing on the empty half of the glass. But the whole glass is both full and empty, depending on how you look at it. But in the end, it's a glass, a blank canvas, a container that can be filled with air and all the other stuff. That's how unique and awesome you are! You can paint whatever you want! Just because you're whole does not mean you're not a part. Look at reality, don't listen to thoughts. You're not the Yin, and not the Yang. You're both. You're each one of them individually, and both of them collectively. Take some deep breaths and think about what I said.
  8. @Aakash You're literally embodying oneness. You're literally talking to yourself.
  9. @Harikrishnan Thanks! @themovement Take a look at it.
  10. A question is awareness trying to identify with some part of itself. It's awareness dividing itself to pieces in thought form. Think about that. Any answer must be 'this' and must not be 'that'. It has to be a certain thing excluded from everything else. Question is duality. Question is creation. What is awareness? It's you and me and everyone and everything. It's the ultimate ground. Cool videos by the way!
  11. @Esoteric But how do you know your intuition is true? I believe that my intuition depends on the culture I grew up/live in.
  12. @Aakash I hope so. @Paul92 So you think this idea that you, me, and other people aren't real, is real?
  13. I don't want you to leave me alone. I want you to rather transcend the mind. It got you this far, but it won't get you anywhere else. Free yourself from the mind, from its paradoxes and strange loops, from the stories, the goals, and the dreams, and then come back so we can talk.
  14. @kieranperez You ask: "why?", and the answer is because you ask "why?" Imagine if you stop asking "why?", will there be problems anymore? This "why?" question is what creates and maintains the matrix. All illusion is dependent on it.
  15. @Aakash I have no interest in talking with people that I don't understand. If you have anything meaningful to communicate with me, then talk to me. If you don't, please leave me alone. The things you're struggling to say demonstrate your struggle with them. Don't thank me, you're welcome.
  16. As long as you are still using thought, you shall remain lost in the matrix, strange loops, or the labyrinths of the mind. By the way, I have no clue what you're referring to by: "it's still an illusion". And I honestly believe you don't know what you're talking about. @Bryanbrax It's how they brainwash you, my friend.
  17. This part? And now you're saying that you don't even want enlightenment. That's enlightenment! You don't have to make sense of anything, and you can still enjoy life. In fact, the more you try to understand life under logical paradigms, the more you will become depressed. Who said that other people don't exist? Why do you believe that to be true? I mean, the only evidence they provide for such claims is that you don't experience other people's lives and that you just imagine them. But who said imagination is not true? Imagination, of course. You see? That ends up in a strange loop (imagination saying that imagination is false), as it must, because that's the furthest that thought can get you to, strange loops (endless labyrinths). Who said that you are a robot? Just because you can't prove the existence of free will does not make you a robot. I'm ready for further discussion if you're interested. I can cure all of your problems if you open your heart and mind to me well enough, because all of your problems are merely imagination.
  18. What about direct experience? What if raping women and killing infidels is truly the way to God? Where is your (not you personally) open-mindedness? Why do you judge that as retarded? Only because that's what your culture has taught you, not because it's the truth. No matter who you are, you are prone to being brainwashed if you listen enough times to anything in the world. Don't underestimate the power of the subconscious mind. You're right now speaking from a very different paradigm than ISIS's. If you're going to be fair, then you should live among them and consider their paradigm with complete open-mindedness that they might deliver you to the truth. Otherwise, you're just dismissing them and rejecting their teachings out of hand. The moral superiority is imaginary, you created it. Under your current paradigms, everything you support seems right to you. Under ISIS's paradigms, everything they support seems right to them. So, who is right? You think right now that you are on the right path towards Truth, but how do you know? You think that the way to Truth must be moral, but how do you know? You think I'm crazy for even suggesting that possibility, but how do you know? Maybe ISIS is the one true way to Truth. Maybe your closed-mindedness is keeping you from it. How do you know? Really, how do you know (anything)? (hint: you don't). I know all that already. It does not appear that way. It is that way. That's the point, and you've missed it. I'm not saying that anything is wrong with that, I'm just creating awareness of it.
  19. It's not really about the number of hours. To me, I can estimate how many hours I need to sleep in order to wake up fresh and alert. It depends on your lifestyle, mood, diet, work, your posture throughout the day, your daily workout, routine, body relaxation, etc... But mainly, it's about how many hours you train your self to sleep. Because your body will adapt the number of hours you give to it. However, if you're still stubborn and you want to wake up at a certain time everyday, then you must always sleep early and almost at the same time every night. Or at least, that's how it is for me.
  20. That's not the point we were discussing. However, I could say the same thing about any spiritual organisation. Someone who starts getting involved with spirituality wants to get tricked (since all they can provide is maps, and maps are not the truth). To be part of something greater (isn't that what we all want?). Call to adventure (depends on your personality, desires, upbringing, and many other factors). I don't do that. That's just how it works. A lot of the things that Leo says are drilled into our subconscious without us even noticing. No one is immune to that. I can feel it very clearly, even though I'm very skeptical and I question everyone and everything. What you live with becomes what you are.
  21. No, I'm serious. Maybe I misunderstood what you were saying, but nevertheless, you're enlightened if what you said was true. The only thing that you can trust is your experience. It doesn't matter what other people say, unless you allow it to matter. What does it mean to you if you don't have a free will? Why do you view this as a negative thing? No free will means to me that I am blessed and protected, and that nothing can ever go wrong, because all is designed by infinite love and goodness and infinite intelligence. You see? Interpretation is very important. Instead of thinking of no free will as a limit. Think of it as an advantage and then do whatever you want (using no free will to achieve freedom ). Of course, without dismissing your love, goodness, or intelligence from the equation.
  22. Don't speak without experience. Go listen to ISIS for 5 years and then say that again.
  23. You're enlightened buddy! You truly are! Why do you think you need confirmation on that? You already know what is true and refuse to believe in falsehood. Just because some people have some valid points does not make you wrong. It only means that there's always more nuance for you to learn and more perspectives for you to discover.
  24. As much as I need. Some days not at all (practically, that's not true because my ordinary state is mild meditation), and some other days many hours without ever counting.
