  1. I only know of the concept. I don't know awareness.
  2. There is no such thing as awareness.
  3. Linearity implies the ability to expect with accuracy. Non-linearity implies the disability to do that. Everything is possible. There are no limits to what the future might bring. To me, it doesn't seem so bright.
  4. So what if everyone disagrees? They'd all be wrong God told me to not care what the devils say
  5. @Leo Gura We've agreed that evolution is non-linear. Too much advancements in a short time might probably backfire. I predict a worldwide disaster that will end all of humanity sometime in our lifetime.
  6. Nice! Do I really have to work towards it or is it possible to just stumble upon it one day? I don't have a strong desire to dig deeper, at least not at the moment.
  7. Wow! I've come to realise the same conclusion merely through intuition. Interesting that Sadhguru thinks the same thing!
  8. There isn't an awareness.
  9. Wow! Thank you. I really enjoyed reading your post. I wonder if you could provide help for me with this problem from your research and experience: Whenever I go to sleep, my front neck and jaws muscles tense up. I try to relax them but that doesn't work very well. I mean it's not a big problem I guess, but that wasn't the case for me two or three months ago. I wonder if there is a possibility for progression even more? Is that related to my job and my lifestyle? I use a computer (as part of my job) for about 4 hours a day and the phone for maybe even more. Also whenever I wake up, I feel the tension easing up but I notice a pain in my teeth resulting from the tension during sleep as the tension makes my teeth push against each other. I appreciate any advice you could provide. Thank you.
  10. Whatever causes you to suffer, accept that thing and suffering like gifts from God. Believe that it's all for your own good.
  11. @Pauline Bureau It seems to me like you have some things in life that you're afraid of, and therefore thoughts about them that you're afraid to face. If that is the case, then whenever you encounter a thought that you resist, simply stay with it and keep questioning it to death. You will find freedom at the end of every line.
  12. Mine is belief. I worked it out both ways, and they both are actually the same thing. Everything breaks down in the presence of God.
  13. I, me, you, they, etc... are mental fabrications. Only God exists. We don't, even to say that feels wrong.
  14. @mandyjw Damn your perverted mind! @Leo Gura I view it as there's no fixed reason for everyone, the reason is whatever you are, in order for everyone to find God. The point of the ride is the ride, that's God-realisation.
  15. Hatred is love for a specific part of reality. It is limited to that part, and therefore cannot include other parts, let alone the whole of reality. Without love, hatred would not be able to exist. And so everything.
  16. @Serotoninluv Well then, Godspeed! @Leo Gura Interesting.
  17. @Angelite God is not created, It is eternal. The question is: is everything created or eternal? Say everything has been destroyed. What remains?
  18. And who's aware of both light and darkness?
  19. I did. What should happen now?
  20. That delusion is meant to open your heart up to love. Maybe you're not ready yet. Everything is love. You merely think it isn't. Remove the thoughts and see.
  21. @Serotoninluv Okay, I understand better now. I get it that many of the things I said are relative and that I have constructed them using logic and language. However, I expressed my definitions and was expecting to get yours in return. I'm not rigid about my definitions, if I find yours better at describing reality, then I'll take them. If not, then I'll just stick to my definitions until something better comes up. Language is just a pointer. We both understand this. Let's not move away from our original discussion. How do you view selflessness?
  22. No. It doesn't work that way. Think of it like health and illness. Health represents feeling good, and illness represents feeling bad. 99% of creation is perfectly healthy, so the natural state is feeling good most if not all of the time. Humans developed an illness, which is confusing the map for the territory, or in other words, misplacement of parts of reality and confusing parts for some other parts by using thought. This illness is what creates suffering for the ordinary people. So, in order to feel good, one has to view things as they actually are and stop buying into illusion. (by raising awareness). How? Meditation.
