  1. I know someone who kept saying how hard of a degree Engineering was (because of the Math). They dropped out and picked another major. They ended up becoming CEO of a large company.
  2. hmm interesting, thanks for sharing. I'm not sure environment design has such a large impact on me. I have several reminders written on my desk, and my yoga mat laid on my bedroom floor but I haven't attended to them for a while now. I'm going to feel into this some more.
  3. Osho said that eating within 3 hours before bedtime will lead to bad dreams and poor sleep. I mean that's pretty big. Also I remember a few years ago when top biohackers were talking about blue lights they recommended no blue lights 3 hours before bed (sometimes I kinda find myself stressing before bed because I feel I have nothing to do. Before Iโ€™d just sit in silence ) I also follow an Ayurveda diet which has helped me greatly, including my nervous system. Certain things like don't eat anything with tomatoes, onions, garlic or pepper (I'm Pitta dosha), or donโ€™t eat cold foods (i.e: salads, i'm trying to lower Vata, as this can increase nervousness), walk for 5 minutes after a meal, or don't have sweets/fruit/dessert after eating salty food. Another example: Taking a 15 minute walk outside in the sun within 1 hour after waking- if you're trying to balance your circadian rhythm or heal your sleeping (maybe you don't sleep well..). It can be a lot. It makes me feel a bit rigid sometimes and stressed thinking I need to think and do all these things. Do you adhere to strict guidelines that you know could significantly benefit you, and if not, why not, given their potential to improve your life?
  4. It's not so black and white. Ayurveda medicine that's been around for thousands of years is a big proponent of eating complex carbs for the reasons mentioned. I'm not sure the science of it but I know when I eat carbs I feel calmer and more balanced.
  5. why 6 pm specifically? I do 12 pm - 8 pm; 8 hour window. I find if I do less it activates the sympathetic system. And carbs are good for a healthy nervous system. I see a lot of talk about fasting and low or no carbs, but I find a lot of people don't know the nuances of it. Speaking from experience.
  6. maybe not as turquoise as I remembered when I watch it, but I see some green values. Maybe some yellow? and maybe turquoise, not sure.
  7. I recently started working on my gut health again. Thereโ€™s a strong link between the gut, the brain and mental health (for me especially sleep and relaxation). I notice on the days I drink a powerful Kefir blend I sleep like a baby and feel calm almost immediately, the next day too. I started drinking this unpasteurized organic goat milk Kefir ๐Ÿ™Œ
  8. ๐Ÿ™Œ goals Question is, how long must one be rigid for?
  9. Not to long ago I saw a clip of Marlin Brando in his later years and the person interviewing was a total fangirl. Marlon Brando was like there is no me. Very Self(ish). I got turquoish vibes. You'd have to think someone as brilliantly artistic as him, must be on some levels. Also notice in behind the scenes of him acting, he was always in Silence in between takes. I also heard he didn't socialize with any of the cast or crew during a shoot.
  10. For sure. It can still get overwhelming sometimes though with the amount of things!
  11. Jared Leto. Not sure if he's yellow (seems at least green for sure) but woke asf. I saw an interview of him on a talk show. He's walking onto the stage and everyone going "crazy" for him and his face was like why you making such a big deal? He seemed to notice he was in the matrix. I've heard him say he used to hitch hike before fame and take LSD. Not on the same occasions, I think.
  12. @CARDOZZO I love Dan Koe but I kinda feel like you just need to watch one of his videos and you get the jist of all of them. Feel like putting that out there.
  13. I recently finished watching the Buddah at the Gas Pump interview with David Goodman who I like very much. Heโ€™s written most English books about Ramana Maharshi and has met and interviewed many enlightened individuals. In the interview he said he never met a single person who was properly able to practice self-inquiry living a busy life, only in solitude were they able to. Edit: part about self-inquiry; I remember now.
  14. I saw him live in Austin a couple of years ago. I noticed a big shift a few years ago. He seems to be operating from a place of fear, intoxicating himself with a lot of ganja and alcohol. Sympathy for the guy.
  15. he took like 20 very strong LSD tabs that were specially made for Ram Dass but nothing happened to him ๐Ÿ˜‚
  16. I have found myself working jobs in kitchens where there was a lot of pressure to work fast, and found myself in flow states like this (and mind you this is not my kind of thing, working quick in kitchens, although I'm getting better at it). So it seems a sort of pressure (outside pressure IME and with an employer where I had something on the line like my job) along with intentional presence is necessary to achieve a flow state, IME. This has happened to me more than once in similar scenarios, just to share.
  17. according to the Law of One, Jesus is currently in 4D workin out some life stuff.
