  1. Dean Radin has posted a bunch of scientific studies about the evidence for psi phenomena. http://deanradin.com/evidence/evidence.htm He's also done some great talks that are on youtube about why the results are dismissed by the scientific community. Despite evidence, it is assumed that there has to be some unknown explanation because a scientist publicly announcing they suspect the implications are true would commit career suicide. From what I have experienced, it would be hard to prove a direct causal link between an intentional magickal act and its result. For example, someone may do a ritual to get some extra money before rent is due. If it shows up, a skeptic would just claim it was a coincidence. I think someone has to experiment with it themselves. Once the "coincidences" keep piling up, eventually skepticism melts because one runs out of contrived explanations. Even now, I still sometimes wonder if I am reading too much into things because the results can be so fucking weird to be real.
  2. @astrokeen Im not familiar with that chant but Im a big believer in the power of many chants. One of the things I am experimenting with right now is the Inner fire meditation, which is used in Tummo to raise body temperatures. Jason Miller, who lived in Nepal to study Tibetan Buddhism and Tantra, says it is one of the most important tools he has to raise chi/prana in this body. Im practicing getting familiar with it but so far, Im impressed. He describes it in depth in his sexual sorcery book and might have it in his strategic sorcery book.
  3. @astrokeen There is an awesome book by Jason Miller called Financial Sorcery that I would highly recommend. Anything by him is excellent.
  4. There are groups of witches that attempt to do just that. I do think they have some influence but keep in mind there are other influences also. Christian prayer is a type of magick. It is a fairly weak form but multiply it by millions of rabid Christian Trump fans praying for protection of Trump and it adds up. Also, it is easier to do a spell on someone if there is some kind of psychic link, such as a hair, original signature, putting a charged object on a property that they are located at or will touch, etc. Some believe it is very difficult to exert much influence without that. Also, magick is really just an influence. If you try to move a 2 ton boulder, you might exert some relatively small "influence" on it but you might not budge it. Add a lever and a fulcrum that is carefully placed and that influence might have a bigger effect. If the boulder is massive, even a lever and fulcrum might not have much of an effect. If I do spells for money and I own my own business, magick has a way of being more likely to find a way to manifest itself. If I do the same spell, am unemployed and spend all my time playing video games, it probably is not going to work. The trick is to be able to find situations, or create situations, that are enchantable (the boulder is not too big) and find the best magickal approach to the different aspects of the situation (where to place the lever and fulcrum). It is just increasing the odds, albeit sometimes it seems greatly so. Regarding a servitor, I have attached a spirit to a letter and used its sigil as the letterhead and mailed the letter to a business that was giving me problems. The way I did the sigil, they would definitely see it and physically handle the letter. My intention is that the servitor would spread like a virus in their office to create mental anxiety and confusion when thinking about the situation involving myself. We'll see how effective it is soon
  5. @TrynaBeTurquoise Thats the big question. Many people would say its a coincidence but if it keeps happening, at what point should it be considered more? I try to be careful about attributing weird things to the paranormal but after awhile, sometimes it just takes more effort to invent reasons why its just a coincidence. To me, continually attributing everything to coincidence seems to be a violation of Occams Razor. My suspicion is that everyone has some clairvoyant abilities but some have it manifested more.
  6. @Gneh Onebar Im very sorry to hear that and hope you find something that helps you. There are many different approaches one can take. Ive seemed to gravitate towards witchcraft and building relationships with spirits. Spirits are like people - if they like you, some will want to help you. The other consideration is how "enchantable" your situation is. For example, if someone wants to find a girlfriend but they dont get out of the house, its going to be hard to exert magickal influence on that. The angle for magick to work is relatively difficult compared to someone that gets out of the house and dresses well. The analogy could be compared to healing in that some health issues are more enchantable or nuanced than others. Ive heard of people getting completely healed in ways doctors could not explain and other situations where a spirit would communicate to them that they need to do a specific something to affect their health. If I was you, I would stick with Kreiter's methods for raising Chi as that affects health and powers magick. Then I would probably attack the situation from a couple angles with healing spells in witchcraft and healing techniques in Taoism where one moves and manipulates chi through visualization, breathwork and intention. Mantek Chia has a some Taoist techniques that he teaches. If you are open to building a relationship with a deity or spirit, i would do some research on a deity that specializes in healing and offer some regular prayers and offerings (like incense, burning a candle and libation). The approach with spirits and deities is to build the relationship and then ask for help. Its just like if you get to know a neighbor and then ask to borrow some butter, they are more likely to be happy to help than if you never talk to them unless you want to borrow something.
  7. @Tistepiste That is a misunderstanding of what the claims are. The occult is simply an influence on possibilities. If someone does a ritual to get more money (for example) and they get an increase in pay a month later, there is no way to objectively connect cause and effect. The first time or two could be attributed to coincidence but eventually coincidence is as an explanation is just too convenient. I understand the skepticism. Two years ago, I was posting on here that anyone that believes in siddhis is gullible. With all that said, yes, there is some evidence that seems to indicate there does seem to be some kind of influence. http://deanradin.com/evidence/evidence.htm Dean Radin also has some videos on youtube that explain the experiments his team has done and studied. I started out with the occult skeptical about a year ago just experimenting. I started having very strange experiences, and mentioned some here. In the past couple weeks, I have had experiences that I would not share here or anywhere else. Any remaining shred of credibility I might have from having made outrageous claims would be completely gone. At times, I question my perception of reality now because things got so fucking weird (in a great way). If one wants to know if its really real, I dont think they will know unless they experience it for themselves. Im not trying to convince anyone. Im just relating my experiences and people can find out themselves if they want.
  8. @AlphaAbundance It is your responsibility to choose your path therefore it is your responsibility to choose your own subjective values and meaning. My top values are love, beauty, strength and truth My life meaning/purpose is to love, to perceive beauty and to evolve. Choose carefully your values and meaning and then move forward on that path like you dont have time to waste (we dont).
  9. @Yonkon Keep in mind that most yogis do not consider Hatha Yoga a good path to enlightenment. Hatha Yoga was only invented less than 100 years ago. Many of the poses were actually taken from swedish calistenics and British military exercises. The yogis initially started doing those poses simply as a way to keep their body in shape so they could sit in meditation for many hours. Hatha Yoga was then adopted by the West, probably because it didnt seem to teach much of an emphasis on meditation. If you want to study the heart of authentic yoga, study the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali with commentary by Swami Satchinanda. Make that your bible and you will discover what authentic yoga is and how it leads one to enlightenment.
  10. @Billy Shears It can be very difficult to know where to draw the line between real and unreal sometimes. When one realizes there is really no definitive way to define those words objectively, it just adds to the confusion. I dont know the answer to the question but if I would speculate, I would say that parasitic entities will take up residence wherever they can consistently feed off ones psychic energy. I personally believe that mental illness can increase the amount of psychic energy one puts out thereby increasing the meal available to nefarious entities. Evil is many times subjective. The cat is evil to the bird but the cat is not objectively evil. Just as a warning, the occult can exacerbate mental illnesses in some cases for 2 reasons - 1. It blurs the line between "real" and "unreal". This can become a balancing act to keep one foot in consensual reality. 2. An occultist would say that projections become real with real effects. Any paranoia, fear and other negative energies can cause negative projections. This is the reason that it is important that any fears or paranoia are transcended and mastered for the occultist.
  11. @ActualizedDavid I have no idea but I have an interesting story about Reptilians... My fiance, who is an extremely gifted clairvoyant, went to a naturopath doctor for health issues. The doctor told her that she suspected she had signs that indicate she was a rare reptile person, which may have caused some deficiencies that "normal" people dont have. The doctor, like a lot of naturopaths, does muscle testing to see what substances your body needs. When the doctor gave her some extracts made from snakes to hold, she had a huge jolt of energy go through her body. She thought this was a good indication her suspicions were true. The doctor told her that the next time she channels Hecate to ask her if she is a reptilian person. The next time I summoned Hecate and my fiance channeled her, I asked Hecate if she was a reptile person and she said she was. I asked her if I was a reptile person and she said no. I asked her if I was something else and she said she was not going to tell me at this time, which just makes me curious. Ive heard some stories that people say reptile people are "bad" but my fiance is one of the most loving and kind people I know. I have no idea what that all means but its an interesting story nevertheless
  12. @rnd One person on this forum tried 5meo and had a Kundalini awakening. He is now unwilling to kill his ego out of great fear and attachment and he is miserable. 5meo might not be advisable unless you are serious enough about awakening that you will move forward in the death of the ego. If Kundalini is awakened, and the ego is not allowed to be killed, it will make the person absolutely miserable. It is also generally not reversible so the only way is forward. If you are serious about awakening and are going to exercise courage, proceed. If you just want a beautiful experience, I would think twice.
  13. @Strangeloop Sounds like you might have been connected to your inner guru/spirit guide. If so, it will say things that are kind but direct. You will immediately recognize it as Truth without feeding the ego's desire for grandiosity. If this is what happened, it is a very important tool for guidance on the Path. I was introduced to my spirit guide several years ago when I tried DMT for the first time and it has stuck with me and guided me ever since.
  14. @SQAAD First, start with the fear of death. Completely accept your own inevitable death. There is a Buddhist practice of meditating on the visualization of their own future rotting, maggot infested corpse as a way of realizing impermanence. Westerners are terrified of even discussing or considering their own death which is why many westerners would be completely averse to this kind of meditation, without really exploring why. The "love and light" New Age crowd has a tendency to avoid difficult truths so they stay buried creating inner weakness, difficulties and suffering. Complete acceptance of death burns away all fears. If one doesnt fear death, what would they fear? If one completely surrenders their own attachment to survival, surrendering ones lesser personal needs is a natural outcome. This is a path that leads to great and rare personal power and strength. There is nothing wrong with personal desires - it is the unhealthy attachment to them that is the problem. Keep the desires related to love and beauty but maintain detachment. A good book that talks about this is Desire - The Tantric Path to Awakening. I also think this is critical in making it through the Dark Night of the Soul to emerge on the other side to equanimity.
  15. @IndigoGeminiWolf There is an ancient story that describes a King who wanted enlightenment but didnt see spiritual asceticism as a practical path for him. He was told that there is another path besides traditional yoga - the path of Tantra. Yoga is considered the safe and long route to enlightenment. Tantra is considered to be the faster but more risky route to enlightenment. There is an ancient story about a king that wants enlightenment without asceticism and he is offered the path of Tantra, with the warning that it is more risky, but faster. I cant remember the story exactly but you will see it in a lot of Tantra books. I think Tantra Yoga should be combined with Western mysticism imo as it fills in some holes. I was never one to take the "safe" route. Ive never been averse to a little risk
  16. @Moreira Ive been involved heavily in witchcraft and sorcery lately. Previously, I studied and practiced Buddhism and Yoga intensely for several years. I appreciate Buddhism and Yoga (as in the Yoga Sutras) for ego transcendence but western mysticism excels at mastering and maximizing the physical realm, which is also considered divine and sacred. Many western mystical practitioners look past the importance of meditation. All great and powerful western mystics will say that meditation remains their most important spiritual practice....something to be mindful of.
  17. @mandyjw Spoken like a true Tantrika Tantra is a path that embraces pleasure and beauty as transcendent while warning that it can be a distraction if a healthy detachment isnt maintained.. Even the act of eating delicious foods can be considered sacred. A book that I love that explains this philosophy is Desire - The tantric path to awakening.
  18. @mulky Just on the inside. Your body posture would be normal but strong to show your sovereignty to them and yourself (standing up straight, head held up, shoulders back, looking them in the eye, etc). Im wondering if you have an underlying fear of asserting yourself to enforce your boundaries. If so, this will have to eventually be confronted and transcended. Might as well master it in this lifetime rather than a future lifetime Might be a good idea to consult your spirit guide. To do that, first tell your spirit guide that you are seeking guidance about whether you need to confront a fear of asserting yourself and how you should start working on this. Then do the concentration meditation that starts the inner strength meditation. When you get in that concentrated spot where you can feel a shift, lock yourself into that spot. Without having specific thoughts to disrupt your state, allow your mind to very subtly bring the issue into your awareness. Just allow yourself to sink deep in that space through controlled, slow and deep breathing with the diaphragm. If you have some experience with psychedelics, combining them with concentration method and spirit guide communication is powerful and extremely effective. Even a half dose works very well. If you do that, you may get a clear message. You can usually tell it is legit, and not a projection of the ego, if you dont get feelings of grandiosity and you get a message that you have work to do that you might have normally rather avoided or was unaware of. When you master something that was previously a weakness, it can become an unusually powerful strength because you had to fight for it. Then you can help others master similar issues that struggle the same way. Then you will see them help others and so on, and so on, etc. Then they forever impact their children, their friends, their mates, etc. The long term benefits to yourself and others are hard to fully comprehend. Regarding another book, I LOVE The Way of Grace by Miranda Macphearson. I think she is absolutely brilliant and exemplifies a feminine but powerful and wise woman. It is a valuable book I recommend a lot.
  19. Im terrible at interpreting poems and lyrics lol. Probably due to a touch of Aspergers.
  20. @Serotoninluv For me, it was my first DMT experience 3.5 years ago. I had no understanding of Buddhism but that night I understood that all suffering is a self created illusion, love is the most important thing, beauty is everywhere but we just sometimes dont see it and I needed to start meditating daily. The next day I started meditating every day and have continued since. I was radically and permanently changed, as everyone that knows me will attest to. I then found out that Buddhism had taught everything that I had awakened to. DMT introduced me to my spirit guide, which instilled the wisdom of the Buddha without the Buddha. In all fairness, I had done a form of self inquiry for several years because I was obsessed with the nature of consciousness and what "I" was. No meditation though.
  21. @Blanchflower The refinement never ends, so the question doesnt really make sense. There are different layers of enlightenment and I believe evolution is eternal. Also, I think there are different realizations of "I am Braham". Many people that have taken psychedelics knows that they can have a powerful insight/knowledge only to realize the same insight but on a much deeper level. Then it goes deeper still. That is just my opinion, of course. Nobody knows (including enlightened people) until it happens.
  22. @Esoteric You're very welcome and thanks for your kind words! I think you will find Jason Miller's stuff very helpful. I consider him the Ramana or Nisargadatta of the Occult path. The knowledge he shares is stuff that is usually kept very secret by the people that have the knowledge. He lived in Nepal for awhile with a Tibetan master where he studied tantric and buddhist sorcery (extremely powerful and hard to get knowledge about). He traveled throughout Europe to study old world witchcraft and spent time in New Orleans to study Hoodoo.
  23. @mulky I know its hardcore, especially because it is so foreign to you. It is because it is so foreign that it is so important imo. Search yourself as to why you have any aversions to it and really study that. Are you doing something "bad" or "evil"? Its important to not just feel comfortable with strength, but also with using that strength. When you do it, pay close attention to see if it diminishes your capacity for love and beauty. I think you will find it wont at all...in fact I think you will find, to your surprise, that it increases it. This is the kind of power that can help you defend the weak and teach them how to have their own power. That is a huge gift...both to them and you.
  24. @CMacD Im somewhat familiar but have never been drawn to it. I started out with an interest in ceremonial magick, which is what enochian is, and ended up more focused on witchcraft and sorcery (very similar to witchcraft). There definitely is some parallels between some of the deities and spirits in different traditions. For example, Hecate is very similar to Isis and Kali. Hermes is said to be the same as Thoth. Others say that while they are similar, there are important differences and they are not the same. Its hard to know which is true but its hard to know what they are at all.
