  1. Or maybe it does for some I don’t know. Maybe I was just ready and life had already taken me through it’s travails to that point. ??‍♂️Lol
  2. I understand what you are saying. I don’t mean to diminish other experiences and practices. I just want to bring to light the that movement of the “i” and its motive to achieve a projected goal just makes for more conflict and fuels the ego even more. As I said it’s not really about the meditation itself but the motive that prevents that timeless being. You know what I mean? That this doesn’t have to be a drug out process.
  3. Yeah I understand. So it’s when that state ends that the other comes into being. Am I following you?
  4. That seems to be a result of conflict in becoming. Your caught up in a future goal. Security in time alway leads to conflict.
  5. Understanding the relationship of fear and pleasure and it’s relationship to thought/psychological security might help you understand this on escaping emptiness. There are some vids I just found that J. Krishnamurti has made that go over that.
  6. Yeah thought fears emptiness. Thought gains its continuity from its very function which is to self sustain its own validity and permanence. In this case a psychological defense mechanism. When there is emptiness thought panics and seeks security first and foremost. It escapes to where it feels safe and comfortable.
  7. Flow in the living moment. — We are always in a process of becoming and nothing is fixed. Have no rigid system in you, and you’ll be flexible to change with the ever changing. Open yourself and flow, my friend. Flow in the total openness of the living moment. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Moving, be like water. Still, be like a mirror. Respond like an echo. Bruce Lee
  8. The timeless moment. - The "moment" has no yesterday or tomorrow. It is not the result of thought and therefore has no time. Bruce Lee
  9. That form of meditation just didn’t seem to bring about complete silence. It was a temporary quietness. Not the same as the timeless state. It’s more about exclusion of parts of a whole and is more of a focused point of directed energy. It’s great before training and such. I did attempt to use this to reach a timeless state but it had the opposite effect. As I now understand why. I don’t steer people away from those practices because they are not useful. I just don’t think they lead to enlightened being, liberation, or the timeless. I do still meditate before and after exercise and training/my art. And it is a skillful movement of concentration. And I enjoy it. The meditation I share is not the same. It is not a self centered movement in any particular direction. It’s not concentration on a specific point but to the whole. And it implies no direction in any specific direction. Hints no time. No demand, effort, no controller/controlled, but just perception without the perciever. That’s what I mean by to be headless. I can be anywhere and be in this state. When there is no identification with sensations that manifest from a center. Or when one can perceive with all the senses instead of one taking over the others. Which is the result of identification. The ending of psychological time made this type of meditation possible. That’s when the uninvited silence/space became actual. When it comes to the dimension of nothingness ‘past the limit of all experiences’ it’s not even the type of meditation that prevents that realm but more the aspect of psychological time. That’s the real barrier. But no specific method, style, technique makes any difference when it comes to the immeasurable. From what I have experienced and through inquiry. Anyway I just want to share the significance of what happened to me with others and how this has depended with religious awareness ?
  10. @Nahm That’s my concentration form of meditation and the other is the total attention form of meditation. That’s the timelessnes/headless meditation.
  11. Yeah I have participated in meditation. I’m a martial artist so I do meditate daily. Has nothing to do with the timeless though. I have meditated as you speak of since I was 11 years old. And no I’m not referring to a thought when I say that. That type of meditation if premeditated as it generally is is a thought bound movement. As I have said before fueled by psychological becoming, and an attempt to quiet and still the mind. It does quiet the mind. But it just doesn’t come to a complete silence free of the center.
  12. ??‍♂️ Then you are not comprehending. You are simply caught in the trap. That form of meditation is based and derived from the movement of thought nahm. My meditation last all day and is not temporary and mechanical..Have fun?
  13. No I asked you if you do understand. Lol nevermid?
  14. So many time bound movements around here. ??‍♂️
  15. @Nahm You do understand what I mean with the time/timesless talk right ? Do you just disagree or does it not make sense? Let me know so we do t waste time going back and forth ?
  16. You didn’t understand anything I said did you??‍♂️ You don’t seem to grasp the whole practices, psychedelics, and accumulation of knowledge jive. It’s not about any of that. You don’t come to any or this by reading what others have said. I did all this without the authority of any teacher. I had never read or listened to any source prior to this silence/stillness. There is absolutely no need for any practices and other movements of time in my life. Infact when the movement of time ends meditation is quite simple. But that’s meant to be fun. Its only recently that I stumbled across j Krishnamurti. And his sharing is the exact thing I went through. When I read his writings or listen to him it’s the exact way I see things. There are a few others as well like moji, Tolle, Bohm, Laozi, and a few more. But none more that j Krishnamurti. I know from personal experience what is said is correct because I have gone it myself. And I did it free of authority. In fact my ability to be free from psychological time made my inquiry that much more impartial and rational. Don’t take it so personal. I am not anyone’s enemy and I have none. I get along with all. No worries ol boy ? People call me Ol boy to ?
  17. ? ?? As a father my only duty is to embody awareness and express that in my daily life. My one and only life purpose is to put all my energy into how I conduct my daily life. And in doing that my son will grow up healthy psychologically/physically himself. It’s not only about what you teach you child but what you don’t teach as well. By learning to understand yourself you are able to understand another. This helps in successfully raising a sane/orderly human being. Actually deciding to have a child is the best thing I ever did. But it’s up to me to make sure he is incapable of being hurt psychologically that is. I’m responsible for him. That responsibility never ends. As being responsible for my actions in relationship to others as well.
  18. Explore psychological time. And it’s relationship to will/ego/self. And of course watch these movements/patterns in your self and perhaps others in daily living. Self awareness in relationship with another is the greatest teacher.
  19. When one sees the imminent danger in something ther isn’t a deciding whether to avoid that. There is a complete action in the other direction. So to speak. Example, If you see a big truck speeding in your direction do you sit and think about moving or todo you simply act and move... That is a movement of intelligence to act without deliberation. The more you understanding this movement of the doer the more you see the consequences of moving in that direction. And therefore negate that whole movement because you see the disorder in it.
  20. Well what I would personally do is understand the nature of the doer. Which is volition/thought and psychological becoming.
