@Dutch guy Even if we grant that hypothesis, do you think it is ALL based on fiction or is there some kernel of truth in their concerns? Kinda like how traditional religion is based on God but gets a distorted image of it. -

@Dutch guy You could be right a hundred times over, but it still wouldn't explain why millions of people took to the streets to protest against racial discrimination. Why do you think the protests are happening? -

@Dutch guy But do you think the protesters have valid concerns at all? -

So this is a picture of a controversial Facebook post from a Norwegian right-wing party that has been circling in the media (maybe you can understand bits and pieces of it). I just think it's funny to see the striking similarity in the structure of the writing haha: "I'M RACIST I'm racist, because I believe all lives matter, not just black lives. I'm racist because I believe the fact that hundreds of thousands people being killed everyday is more important than a single poor criminal being killed while being arrested in the USA. I'm racist because I believe it's wrong to protest by the means of looting, destruction, hurting and killing of people. I'm racist because I believe it's wrong to attack police officers because you believe that a few people have done something wrong. I'm racist because I believe it's wrong to ignore the societal health concerns of spreading the coronavirus because of protests. because I love a country built upon freedom, dignity and democracy. I'm racist because I believe it's important to provide equal oppurtunities to everybody in our country, not to provide special treatment for immigrants over retirees, people on welfare, the unemployed or poor people. I'm a fucking racist." -

Sounds more like a stage red person to me hahaha. I used to be like that a couple of years ago (my weed > everything and everyone). -

It's probably extremely hard to get your hands on and therefore not a practical tool. If nobody knows about it, then the probability that there are any chemists who have the ability to make it, sell it and profit from it is very low. Oh, you're changing physical reality right now as we speak: you're turning oxygen and glucose into water and carbon dioxide Have you ever tried reading somebody's mind? -

I've meditated for 3 years everyday in all kinds of positions, and my advice is that you should find the most comfortable position that naturally promotes an erect spine (you shouldn't have to "force" your spine to be erect). Lotus can help with that, but it can also detract from the goal, which is to sit in a relaxed and geometrically efficient position. I stopped sitting on the floor and started using my office chair instead because I sometimes tense up parts of my body. I tend to sit with my arms resting on the arm rests (doesn't matter where you position your hands) and with one leg tucked under my butt (the way Sadhguru tends to sit during interviews). You should have your chair back support setting (if you have any) placed on the "firm" setting so that you're sitting upright in a rested position without the chair leaning back if you try to lean back. Just remember that there is no point in having an erect spine if you don't feel relaxed or comfortable (but don't turn it into a perfectionism thing either haha). -
Yeah, but then you have people like David Letterman where flirting is synonymous with being creepy most of the time

True, but you gotta admit when looking at all his interviews, he is absolutely dominating the room.

@LfcCharlie4 Yup I was recommended some Russel Brand videos along side this one haha

@Serotoninluv That's really interesting . When you talked about hearing vs. imagination, it reminded me of one time many years ago when I was walking down a road after smoking weed and I didn't have any headphones to listen to music with, so I started to intentionally "play" the song in my head just for the sake of curiosity. It might be because I'm musically inclined, but when I really tried to focus in on the "sounds", it almost started to feel like I was actually listening to the song. It was kinda freaky, and when I look back in hindsight, that was sort of a clue that reality actually IS imagination and that I'm creating it. I guess that potential for immersion and creativity is so much larger than I could've ever "imagined" back then LOL. -

@Serotoninluv So in other words, I just need to develop a vivid sense of imagination in order to simulate an experience that is free from my own limited identity? Is this what empaths do? -

Freedom... hmm... reminds me of these memes: -

No offense, but I feel you're being overtly contrarian and digging for "gotcha's" in the words people use. Are you genuinely interested in what love is or is this just a lol-fest for you? -

@Serotoninluv I sometimes doubt that I've really explored green to its fullest. I feel like I understand green concerns on an intellectual level, but I don't know if I've actually "felt" it thoroughly like you've pointed out. Then again, I'm an ex-pothead who lives in the greener parts of Europe haha. Is there something I can do about that? -

If you look at this carefully, violence or aggression isn't "inherent" to any particular stage, but rather they're symptoms of certain values being played out in different scenarios. A stage red warlord or a stage blue king isn't aggressive all the time, but they're more likely to display aggression in certain situations, say if their authority is being threatened. Likewise, a stage green person would likely feel aggression when faced with deep unjustice. It's highly dependent on which values are being challenged in which situations.
