  1. @WisdomSeeker Yes, you have the choice to be like Ramana Mahararshi and sit in a cave for your entire life, but just know that you have other oppurtunities that can be actualized. Self-realization and self-actualization aren't contradictory concepts: they play in tandem. The former is the knowing of your true nature, and the latter is the manifestation of that knowing in the world. Ramana's quote "your own Self-Realization is the greatest service you can render the world" is meaningless if you don't manifest your realization in the world.
  2. If nothing is actualized, there is nothing to be realized.
  3. @Danioover9000 Remember to be extra careful about being conscious enough!
  4. Do your practice, and then do whatever you want. Then whatever you're doing will be a high consciousness hobby.
  5. The observer and the observed is a distinction which you're imagining.
  6. Hmm... would you consider this statement to be a statement of openmindedness?
  7. That is just.. it brings a tear to my eye.
  8. I remember not long ago you said that typing "LMAO" is an indication of sarcasm. Does that apply now?
  9. You seem very preoccupied with defining Love. Have you ever experienced an awakening filled with Love?
  10. @Someone here Science makes models. Models are maps. Maps can get you from A to B, but they can't explain what the terrain is made out of or where it came from.
  11. You can't really explain anything using the materialist paradigm. You can make cool toys though.
  12. @luckieluuke I've actually been inside a cult, and this forum is nothing like it. People with a common mission get together in groups all the time.
  13. @herghly You can certainly overdose on it, but whether you'll die or not is a different question.
  14. I thought about typing that
  15. Death is good.
  16. Cmon, you're doing it for fun, just admit it. Nothing wrong with that
  17. @Moon Fear makes not see the love.
  18. On a purely practical level, it's not really that much different from dosing yourself with shrooms, except from the frequent bowel movements.
  19. @Nak Khid You're on a spirituality forum and you're worried about words being used in an alternative way. Ok dude. Yes, people are confused all the time about everything. Get used to it Anyways, it's all just the classic relative-absolute fallacy: you're conflating relative love with absolute Love, relative God with absolute God. You may ask what does The Absolute have to do with Love or God? You'll have to discover that yourself through your own experience.
  20. @LfcCharlie4 I salute any effort or method as long it's done deliberately and given your full absolute attention
