  1. I'm willing to argue that even the virtuosos over at Dream Theater are choosing to play low consciousness music even though they're obviously capable of pretty much anything. They're attached to their brand, the "DT sound". Their music is a matter of survival for them. It's very clear if you look at their reasoning process when picking the new drummer for the band.
  2. @Epikur I think the problem you're getting at is more about who is saying it than what they're actually saying. If some ignorant villager are calling you dumb, you'll not value that the same way as a professor calling you dumb. You clearly know what they both mean, but you also know who you're going to take seriously.
  3. Hahahaha Just kidding. Good for you . One thing you could elaborate on: do you feel that you grasp relativity? How do you relate/react to lower stages?
  4. He is a musical artist, not a political figure.
  5. Imagine doing all this just for semantics.
  6. Are you saying all dumb people are mentally ill? Why not just call them dumb?
  7. Elliot is the go-to example of ego backlash.
  8. Dude why do you still misunderstand what illusion means? We already went over this. Illusion is when something appears as something it is not. The illusion still has to exist in order to be an illusion.
  9. No you're just in denial. Distorted guitars, loud drums and aggressive vocals are inherently low consciousness.
  10. For sure. Disposition, Reflection, Triad has some of the most beautiful moments in music ever. I get emotional even talking about it. Btw, have you seen this one? Such a good match and feel-good wibes
  11. There is some validity to what Leo is saying, and that is coming from an ex- death metal fan. I used to listen to the darkest forms of heavy music out there, but after meditating for a couple of years, my music taste completely changed. Now it's leaning more towards psychedelic/progressive rock, jazz, classical etc.. Heavy music just feels toxic at some level. The heaviest I would go nowadays is maybe some Tool when working out, and even that gets tiring after a while, despite the spiritual and soulful dimension of their sound and lyrics.
  12. I used to hang out in a spiritual discord that went way down the rabbit hole with assessing people's LOCs. All I can say is don't get too carried away with it. Don't forget that you're imagining your entire existence . It's easy to confuse different layers of imagination and be unaware of your own projections.
  13. Careful with the demonization. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.
  14. I agree. Maybe I'm being too hopeful and optimistic.
  15. I love Destiny's ability to handle this with humor for the most part hahaha. Nowadays, I would say he has hints of yellow from watching a lot of his content. He has changed very much recently (he had a massive ego death on 10g of shrooms lol).
  16. I like to think of fascism as stage red taking advantage of the systems in stage blue, like a psychopath manipulating himself through life.
  17. @Leo Gura Vaush is like the best example of the positives and negatives of green that I can think of.
  18. Interesting how the atheism of North Korea (in respect to traditional religion) is coming from below blue (red) rather than above (orange). They are only allowed to worship the one all-powerful state. Atleast Hitler believed he wasn't above the christian God.
  19. Nah. It's hard to find healthy examples.
  20. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-norway-police-verdict/norwegian-policeman-jailed-for-21-years-in-drugs-case-idUSKCN1BT1QZ This is the headline in our news today in Norway as the high-up ex-police detective Eirik Jensen is appealing his sentence to the supreme court. When the top hash distributor in Norway named Gjermund Cappelen got busted by the cops, he decided to out Jensen as having cooperated with his business while working closely with him as an informant by using illegal tactics, and that Jensen has protected Cappelen from being investigated by the police, essentially allowing him to import hash without being caught, in exchange for money and insider information. If he is guilty, this is an example of stage blue regressing to stage red.
  21. That or it appeals to the natural teenage propensity towards Red (defying authority, aggression, impulsivity). I used to listen to death metal as a teenager because of the intense energy and adrenaline, kinda like watching a horror movie. I've actually never cared about the lyrics of a song untill my early 20s.
  22. When the society persecutes you the the point that it becomes indistinguishable from living under a stage red oppressive empire, to the point where the most basic aspects of your individuality gets neglected, you will drop to that stage yourself and act accordingly in order to preserve yourself. Any stage in particular doesn't just arise as a result of evolution from a previous stage but also as a result of the short-commings of the proceeding stages. That is one way to view what causes things like violent protests.
