Then you should be comfortable with post-rational self-inquiry and contemplation. As well, you would understand how post-rationality can contribute to science. -
What is your balance between wellness for the individual and overall wellness for society? For example: if 100 billionaires “rightfully earned” 99% of a nation’s wealth such that 90% of the populaton was starving in poverty - would you support forcing those 100 billionaires to pay higher taxes?

By “authority” I mean experts in a field. I think TJ’s perspective on Turquoise has value from an Orange perspective. A rationalist understanding of Tier2 is very very shallow. In Orange quantification terms, perhaps 2% understanding.

It seems to happen to all of us. I try to keep an eye on it. It’s a block against growth. -

Ignorance is unaware of it’s own ignorance and will aggressively defend it’s own ignorance. -

You haven’t transcended rationality yet. Leo addresses this in one of his videos. I think it’s one on contemplation - ehen he explains how to contemplate “what is a thought?” post-rationally -

Leo has a nice blog post on the Dunning-kruger effect -

For me, self-inquiry and contemplation is post-rational. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned: Just because I can’t imagine something, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. -
@StardewValley Leo covered all these questions in his green and yellow videos

@Andreas TJ Reeves’ perspective has some value, yet he has not transcended Turquoise - which is my point. Someone without tier2 experience and comprehension will not be able to see that TJ Reeves has not transcended tier1. Tier2 emerged when enough people were at tier2. Now Tier2 people are exploring a lot of nuances. In the future, we may divide Yellow and Turquoise into several subdivisions. A tier1 person can’t even comprehend Tier2, let alone a potential Tier3. TJ Reeves seems to have some glimpses of tier2, yet his tier2 views are very immature. He is still grounded in tier1 - looking up to tier2. A potential tier3 will emerge when enough tier2 people evolve through Turquoise. I think you are underestimating Turquoise. It appears there is more growth in Turquoise than all the lower stages combined. I also notice you seem to appeal to what you view as authority on SD. IMO, direct experience becomes really important at stage green and turquoise

@Andreas According to SD theory, one must transcend a stage to comprehend the next higher stage. How many people in the world have trancended Turquoise? Can you name 1 person that has embodied Turqoise and has elevated to a higher stage? I can’t. Intellectually, it’s fun to conceptualize what coral may be like. We like to be imaginative. Yet according to SD theory we can’t imagine coral until we reach coral. Our level of consciousness is too low. If one wants to modify SD theory, like Ken Wilber, that’s great. Yet, it then becomes a new model.

A stage Orange person cannot design, create or understand stage yellow. Orange is still rational and has not transcended rationality. To Orange, pre-rational and post-rational look the same - irrational. Similarly, a yellow level thinker cannot design, create or understand a level higher than Turquoise before transcending Turquoise. I’ll believe in coral when people who have transcended Turquoise begin to describe coral.
-
@Andreas @Mohamad Tahmas According to SD theory, a person cannot understand a higher stage. Thus, coral can only be created by individuals evolving beyond Turquoise - these are extremely rare individuals. How many people have transcended Turquoise? 1 in billion? Plus, the SD model breaks down At Turqoise because our current use of language, concepts and images breaks down. My sense is, orange and yellow level thinkers are just making up a new stage prematurely.
-
@Andreas Who do you think is creating “coral”?
-
I think he’s veered off the Clare Graves model. I’m not sure if he has a misunderstanding or wants to modify it into his own version.

Isn’t this song about how the world around Syd Barret was like a machine? The money grubbing recording industry, the band and fans that led to his mental collapse. Wish You Were Here is such a sad song in this context -

@The Don Eating spiders is disgusting relative to Americans, yet a yummy snack relative to Cambodians.

In terms of DNA sequence, the two siblings would be 50% similar (it is a bell curve, ranging from 0% to 100% with an average of 50%). We don't know all the factors regarding epigenetic modifications of gene expression. You raise a very good question: would the experiences of the parents during the five year gap influence inheritable epigenetic modifications? If so, to what extent?
-
And dna memory is not just genetic dna sequence. Our environment/experience interacts with DNA and modifies gene expression via methylation. These epigenetic changes are often long-lasting and inheritable.

I wish we had more of this in English. For example, 10 variations of the word "intuition" to express it's nuances and subtleties.

Great contemplations. I got me thinking about instinct and intuition. The two seem related.
