@Gligorije One example is that Green is more developed than Orange for post-logical modes of being.

I’ve had many experiences like that when the self temporarily dissolves away and just awareness remains. Sometimes there is a sense of connection and Oneness, other times it’s uncomfortable.

Did that concept of awakening arise from that which is aware or from the pursuasive little bastard?

I try not to shut off that type of thinking. I’ve found it more easing to do practices that calm down that busy mind. When the chatter arises and won’t settle, I’ve found it better to just allow it. Trying to shut it off and stop it generally makes it worse.

Is there desire to let go and go deeper in the midst of the resistance?

What is the ego scared might happen if it lets go without a satisfactory reason and undestanding why?

I find it difficult to progress with a busy mind. Activities that settle the mind are helpful: yoga, running, listening to nonduality speakers, meditation etc.

I think it’s also possible that a Tier3 emerges, Tier1 goes extinct and Tier2 becomes the foundation. Children would be raised into Yellow/Turquoise. Tier1 would be ancient history.

@andyjohnsonman Thoughts are illusion in a relative sense. In the Absolute sense there is No Thing. There is no separation. The idea of illusion is within Everything. The idea of not illusion is within Everything. There is No Thing in Everything. The notion of Everything seems too simple to a mind. It thinks “wait a second. There must be more to it. What about this? What about that”. The mind will seek for the One. If it is fortunate, the mind will realize it is within the One. Any thing that happens or exists is within the One. The mind realizes it cannot be anything outside the One. There is no way out of Everything. This is extremely unpalatable and maddening to the mind and it generally dismisses the realization as too simple. That can’t be “IT”. So it goes on searching for Everything unaware that it is Everything. In the Absolute, Everything really really really means Everything. Absolutely no exceptions. With this realization, perhaps your mind will relax and you will get direct experiences of this Everything. That’s when things get really fascinating. Liberation beyond imagination.

@andyjohnsonman And all those thoughts about what is delusional are also within the One Consciousness, which is Everything. Is there anything outside of Everything? Try to imagine some thing outside of Everything. You can’t do it. Any new thing that arises is within Everything. It’s all one giant Everything. No thing can be outside of Everything, So Everything = No Thing = Nothing That touches upon the Absolute, which can be perceived as being relative. In the Absolute, all the pround Buddhist and Advaita teaching have no more significance than a pebble. It’s all within Everything. In relative perception, those Buddhist and Advaita teachings may have profound meaning - relative to the mind perceiving it.

Nice insight. Do you see that any thought that arises has no more relevance than a bird chirp? It is all consciousness.

I’ve never smoked 5-meo. I’ve often said plugging is far superior to snorting IME. Other forum users have experience with smoking ROA and will be able to help you.

I had a different interpretation of the analogy. The idea of comparing a person to a disease never even crossed my mind until I read your post. For me, it was about relating one phenomena to another phenomena. Looking back on it, my impression is that this context was understood among participants. Yet, I can see how a mind could interpret the analogy at a personal level and how that would be problematic within a discussion. There are only so many perpectives a mind can hold. Each time I make an analogy, I can shape it the best I can to how it might be received by several different perspectives, yet my mind is unable to scan through the infinite number of recipient perspectives to craft the ideal analogy. My mind can’t read other minds. Sometimes a mind needs cues from the receiving mind as feedback. This is particularly challenging on text forums. 90% of meaning is nonverbal (tone of voice, body language, facial expression etc). Those cues are absent here, which makes crafting efficient communication more daunting.

Sometimes I contemplate a universal intelligence. Why is reality evolving? Where are we evolving to?

Some Yellow beings are into social engineering and I think it can have unintended consequences. Personally, I really want societies to evolve up the spiral and I often feel desire to push the progress faster.

That’s so true! I used to compete with my former and future selfs. For example, I would train really hard for marathons to beat my previous self’s time and to make it hard for my future self to beat. So bizarre how the mind works. . . @Joseph Maynor Wow! That is intense Orange! ?

Even if we assume that as true from one perspective, it doesn’t mean that racism doesn’t exist or it shouldn’t be addressed. In fact, it would mean we should double our efforts to eliminate systemic racism. My mom would love that argument because it suggests liberals and minorities are hurting themselves with their own racism.
