Yes, he didn’t actually make the film, but the adaptation sparked his interest in filmmaking. DiCaprio going full Cage: Reminds me of:

If you're interested in learning about determinism with some entertainment, I'd recommend "Devs," from the "Ex Machina" director. If you don't have time for the show, the scene above explains it, though I think the show is great.

Together (2025) is pretty much Solipsism: The Movie.

I have not yet experienced God-Realization. Inshallah. -
Now I know what to watch next! Annihilation is probably my favorite film of his. Civil War was okay too, though it was very divisive.

I liked this episode 😏 Overall, the show's a little slow-paced, but I see potential for some serious drama down the line. It feels like they're building towards something big, much like BCS did.

Not funny, but amazing: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSQAmX3AnGw/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== There are a few variations of it, and they're incredible.

"The ultimate love is to love selfishness. There's a deep acceptance of your own evil. You can't defeat evil, because evil is not something that exists in the world. Evil is something that's constructed by your own finite definition of yourself. So all you have to do to defeat evil is to defeat your finite self, and then that will lead to the infinite self, and to love. Evil never existed. Evil was just your own fucking selfishness looking out at the world and being upset at things, and the reason you were upset at things is they were impinging on your survival. But when you're selfless, you no longer care about surviving; therefore, nothing can impinge upon you. The reason God is love is because nothing can harm God, because it has no needs and has no self. If it has no self, it's immortal, so what does it have to be afraid of? It can't be afraid, because it's all things, because it's all seeing. When you see all of yourself, and you accept all of yourself, and you love all of yourself, you can't fear yourself; that's the ultimate power. Truth is love. The whole challenge of life is surrendering more and more of yourself to reach the infinite self. God is infinite selflessness." - Leo Gura (From the interview with Curt) -

God is Infinite Goodness. Evil is just an idea. -
Surprised there’s no thread for this incredible game yet. The soundtrack is so fresh, and I’ve had my favorite track on repeat.

Because you're thinking about it. Realizing Nothingness makes it alright, even if things aren't alright. -
Yes, it was pretty much expected to win. Neither of these games is really my cup of tea, but I never expected to enjoy a turn-based RPG either. The dodge mechanic and soundtrack won me over; it feels like playing a fun rhythm game.

"Infinite potentiality is not just potential for all the good stuff." - Adyashanti -
The French have done it! God bless France!

This is the most honest and direct he has ever been. He is essentially telling us that we are not in control. This might be the most candid speech I've ever heard. The sheer honesty is astounding – I can't believe he got away with saying all that! Then again, I suppose only Adya could pull something like that off. Listen to this talk three times, take notes on it, then go suffer for a few years, and then come back and listen to it again. That's how profound this talk is.

That's what I used to believe. I can no longer accommodate free will. There is only God's will. Life is always living you. -
I enjoyed the first episode. The dynamic between Lucy and the Ghoul is interesting.

Yes. As Adya says in the video, cause and effect is like a game that seems to be happening but, in reality, has no real substance. From the ultimate perspective, even determinism isn’t true, though it’s closer to reality than the fanciful idea of free will. In the relative world, things unfold according to apparent cause and effect, not free will. -
I appreciate the larger goal of this work. Your vision is breathtaking.

Yes, I'm also determined to think it's probably best to let this matter rest for now -

What do differing opinions have to do with free will? Sure, people have different perspectives, but that doesn’t prove that those opinions, beliefs, and viewpoints were freely chosen. They obviously weren’t. Either I’m exercising my free will to believe in determinism, or you’re destined to believe in free will—until you’re not. Which seems more likely? I’m not concerned with convincing anyone of determinism. If believing in free will still works for someone, maybe it’s best not to take it away too soon—it could be like training wheels. I used to believe in free will myself; I wasn’t always a determinist.
