It seems he didn’t have much karma. I think a person's level of consciousness is determined by luck. Luck swallows everything.

As you said, everything is governed by karma, and higher consciousness doesn’t change that. There’s really nothing to solve. Karma is simply conditioning—like your heart being conditioned to beat—and that’s not something that needs solving.

I had high hopes for this movie, but it turned out to be surprisingly boring. It's not another Parasite. Watching Leo's new video at normal speed was easier than sitting through this film. Bugonia is next on my list; I hope it's better.
