I’ve been on this journey of personal development/enlightenment for 8 years and I did a lot of internal work. This year I decided to ground myself and focus on real world practical success. I know this forum has some of the greatest minds in the world so I need assistance. I am seeking guidance on a situation involving online fraud. On [December 30th 2024], I purchased an online educational program from TaiLopez.com for $[2500]. The program was advertised with specific features, benefits, and a money-back guarantee, but I never received the promised content. I attempted to resolve the issue by contacting customer support multiple times on but received no response. I have filed complaints with: BBB IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center) Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre The Police And my bank have all receipts, email correspondence, screenshots, and documentation of the advertised promises. My goal is to recover my funds or otherwise hold the company accountable. I would greatly appreciate advice on: Creative, strategic, or psychological methods to maximize pressure. Potential escalation pathways beyond banks and standard chargebacks. Any insights from legal, social, or negotiation perspectives. Thank you for your thoughtful guidance. I’m looking for actionable strategies, not just general opinions.

@Jowblob I’ve been practicing kundalini yoga since 2017 and I managed to stay consistent. I would consider my baseline state of conscious higher than the average person. I feel like it’s time to channel this passion and energy into the world. I’ve had ego deaths, god realizations, studied meta psychics, did consciousness work and even done multiple trips on 5-MEO DMT with a practitioner.

Went to my first 3 day silent retreat at the first dharma centre built in North America not far from Toronto founded by Namgyal Rinpoche. What an experience! 400 acres of land! i went for a bhuddist retreat based on the Vajrayāna school of Buddhism. It was interesting because when the lama of the retreat was talking about emptiness, I knew exactly what she was referring to due to my experiences on 5-MEO-DMT On the final day of the retreat I sat down and spoke to her one on one. Telling her that I was aware of emptiness due to my experiences on 5 MEO DMT and she approved. She said 5 MEO DMT can give someone a great glimpse into the experience of nothing. She said she has experience with 5 MEO too!

Let’s come to a conclusion with all of this because I want peace of mind and tired of driving myself insane. We’re all a part of this forum for the sake of personal development and enlightenment right? Does horoscopes, astrology and tarot fit into what our end goal is? In the last 6 months I got into a cycle of watching astrology readings on my “ star sign “ the only reason I entertained the possibility of horoscope, tarot and astrology is because I’m an enormous action taker in all facets of my life. I don’t sit around praying for a solution, I get out there and find solutions. The last 6 months were difficult for me because I’ve been putting so much into awakening, my life purpose, personal development and spiritual practice for the last 7-8 years then I’m still not living what I feel like is proportional to my effort. The last 6 months were so tough that I was honestly losing faith in this stuff, astrology gave me a bit of delusion to believe better things are coming and there’s change on the way. It all comes down to having faith and trusting in the unknown. It’s not adding up I see people out there living their dreams in the span of 2-4 years while I’m out here taking advice from awakened masters and doing what they say then I’m still not where I want to be.... it’s not making sense

Your statement is true, if we are not taking responsibility for our life in the. now then how can we live in the now and accept what is?

@Princess Arabia mind stuff, frequencies and vibration make a lot of sense. I guess it’s a matter of accepting what is and dealing with our emotions face to face. The world aka our mind is a Mind Game. As much as people can tell us everything will be alright and give us the approval of our decisions/emotional support we have to be able to believe in ourselves and be our own emotional support system. If we’re going to have integrity and be successful in the world, we have to wake up everyday and make the choice to do what we say.

@Princess Arabia sounds good, will check out the book thank you. You’re right, I am focused on not having/being where I want to be because the sacrifices I’ve made are just insane. I went to the extent of taking 5-MEO DMT multiple times with a professional practitioner. I don’t know anyone who has the balls to even ever try it once but let me focus on what I do have and what is going right. I appreciate you taking your time.

Until the 1950s people in western culture weren’t living lives of freedom, individuality and relativity. I remember when I was in grade 11 having a conversation with my gym teacher about careers and life after high-school. He was in his 70s, he said “ in my day we didn’t have to worry about our career, they’re weren’t many options. Everyone just worked construction “ Post modernism can add a dimension of complexity into reality in comparison to a pre- modernist. Anything to the extreme can be bad. Balance I’m sure modernist and pre-modernist have strengths that some post modernist don’t.
