Channeling with guides and companions to locate and heal chakras while using good nutritional intake and lots of exercise both cardiovascular and strength seems to be a good recipe for preparing a clear mind. It can be hard to perceive spirituality when you are not yourself. And even harder when you think you are yourself! The moments when you are not split are when you feel vividly.
  2. It makes it hard to stay on track when we get distracted. It's very clear, for instance, when someone is dealing with self image or self control issues and posting in here about it that they haven't even looked at Leo's resources on the matter. Like the girl with the chocolate fetish and Candida! So, let's see what the numbers show.
  3. Sure, if you can figure out who you are. Most people are simply who others want them to be. People forming others in their image. Sounds like playing God.... That's what turned me off to so much of today's society. Maybe people will wake the fuck up and realize that individualism is very important to survival. Be who you want to be and quit letting others form what you should be. Feminism is the prime culprit of this filth. So is socialism. So is group think. So is much of religion. God is the ultimate and unattainable individualism and Jesus was persecuted in his time because he would not conform to man or woman playing God. Vote wisely my friends! And keep your ballot private!

  6. It is a lot of brainwashing to sell stuff to people. Like marriage is a huge business and so is beauty. External beauty sells more than internal beauty in general. Look at it from an economic perspective and statistical perspective and it makes sense. However, I've been very attracted to older women at times. It's really all about what you think of yourself. Take an older semi-attractive woman who can't figure out why a younger guy doesn't get attracted to her. Well, it's much more likely that there is something on the inside that turns him off rather than her exterior. But the years of her life are what instilled these undesirable traits into her. And the wrinkles, of course, but wrinkles matter much less than a genuinely good and loving person. It's vanity vs. everything else.....vain people drive me nuts! But vanity sells and that likely won't change. Ever
  7. Focus on your self-inquiry when you have something to inquire about by meditating. They go hand in hand. Forget about how you meditate. That is generally just the process of self-inquiry. However, if you are practicing something like chakra work then you would be exercising rather than meditating. But, it's all really semantics as to what you call it.
  8. Replying to the title of this thread. That's bullshit. It's quite effective in self discovery. And cleansing the mind of the bullshit from other people who would influence your thoughts. The hard part of maintaining enlightenment is establishing "difference". Or better stated to overcome the "indifference" that comes with being in this state. Why do you think people push control mechanisms like religion or political parties or groups in general. Some of it is a great thing and when you can find pure rules or "differences" to live by then that's great. But be aware that people easily try to push their own "differences" onto others to influence them to their side. Like in that fucking book by Carnegie. So, few people can be trusted with that kind of power or influence over others. So, our only refuge is simply to blow that shit off and ignore it best we can.
  9. Do you sit and wonder about the dumbasses that think they've got you all figured out and try to present things for you to work out! When in my case I've long moved on from what they are still hung up on from years ago. Fucking amazes me every time how shallow their minds are. And then most of them just still try to force issues or wear one down until they give in. The story of life! Bunch of greedy fuckers that label people as "angry" or whatever when it doesn't work out their way....lol

  11. Yes. Don't worry with that if it makes you withdraw. Just think about what bothers you most and go find a video to watch. Now that your feud with life purpose is in front of mind you can go back into the work of discovery and answer the new questions and deal better with the uncertainty of life purpose that holds you back from finishing it. And hey, life purpose could take a lifetime to work on if you think about it. But bills paid, food, water, sleep are really all that matter. Till you find a stronger purpose that belongs to YOU.
  12. I thought to keep a list at one time. Gave up on that quickly. Just started having marathon sessions while working. Played them over and over in the background even and eventually got in tune with the "air" of them so my attention held. Keep on it bro!

  16. Well I think there's quite a lot to see here. There are many methods to deal with it. It is slow. Even after you've spent hours with Leo's videos and reintegrated into social life, it remains important to realize that many aspects of self improvement must be repeated so you can receive the "rest of the message". Ayla hit the nail squarely!!! But this takes time and more importantly patience. The eyething is related to establishing dominance or determining one's true feelings. I don't submit to bullies either, but neither do I agress. Leo's self-control related videos helped me lots. Perhaps "thinking" about how hurtful and judgemental those people's thoughts and actions are has the greatest effect in healing them. People are hateful and if they looked at themselves with that same hate then that is usually enough to break it. Unless they just dismiss it. Then you may need to abstain from contact. You know. "Get the sand out of one's own eye before throwing a stone at another" The self control comes in useful when they push you to extremes..... And never forget...manipulators are very persistent. It runs in their circle so it creeps its way back into them with time, usually.
  17. Wow! Right on! That makes it very clear very quickly! How many "things" does one see when they look at oneself! And of course they are familiar.
  18. And know that the more time you spend around western medicine the more you will think you have problems. It's by design. It's a business designed to keep you coming back. Try the food, do the breathing, and find a friend to talk to but don't talk about how bad you feel. Be creative, ask them to tell you a story. Use it to "change the topic" in your head. Walk an hour each day. Keep these tactics in a journal and look at it from time to time. These habits will become your life and it will improve. As it does you can make improvements. And when those bring you down again you'll have that journal to remember what was working for you. Observe yourself each day to begin "knowing yourself". Opportunities will present themselves once you take care of you!
  19. When your body is injured, particularly from emotional abuse it induces a PTSD. All injury or sickness appears to increase acidity in the body. The breathing can be used to alter this situation. If you'll notice you may not breath deeply or much at all compared to what you need for your body to heal itself. It's the process of dying basically. So, more rapid and complete breathing lowers this acidity of the body by expelling more CO2. So, slow controlled breathing to allow transfer of the by-product CO2 out of the bloodstream via the capillaries in the lungs and simultaneously allowing O2 back into the blood will help a lot and this is exercising your core muscles and diaphragm through isometric types of exercise. This is of course done during meditation. But you can focus on breathing while doing many things. Drinking lots of water helps out lots. @Boss , I hope you are getting benefit from the food. I left out eggs as I was trying to give you things that aren't so perishable. But they do give lots of nutrients. Red meat gives lots of iron also, but is more expensive and perishable. But like has been mentioned, a multivitamin works great. And drink water morning and evening if you can't do it during the day and have water with meals to build the habit.
  20. How do you generally approach assessing subjectivity? But I think I see your point. Do you ever catch yourself assuming that you can appropriately judge the relevance that a truth has on someone else's life?

  22. Right. Thanks. Been working on this for a while now. But I was referring to some one of an intimate relation. I burned lots of nice people in my past till I learned to bond with "one" or a closed group even and be open with them above everyone else.
