  1. @NoSelfSelf of course the problem goes deeper. But lack of sharing and communication causes people to not be confident enough to be themselves. Meanwhile they need to investigate inner reasons, they might try to communicate their feelings to their partner to let go of fears, it might need some practice.
  2. Communication problem. You only sleep with them but you don't share with them and you're scared of being judged. Liberate yourself from the fears of judgement. Causes Social anxiety disorder Childhood trauma Lack of intimacy Fear of judgment Insecurity Overthinking Introversion Lack of exposure Lack of openness Bad relationship experiences Low self esteem Analysis paralysis You don't spend enough quality time with your partners.
  3. Free speech is a necessity in an ideal society. You don't want the voices of the weak to be muffled and never be heard. A clear demarcation is needed between free speech and offensive speech. It's offensive hate invoking speech that needs moderation and suspension. Free speech is the most important nexus of a democratic civil society. It's the foundation of human rights.
  4. Thanks again.
  5. @Judy2 thank you so much. Noting down all the points.
  6. @something_else will I get very nauseous if I take lsd on an empty stomach?
  7. Thanks, will follow as you said. @Ramu thanks a lot for that tip.
  8. @OBEler I didn't do an lsd trip yet. So I have zero clue. I'm addicted to the listed substances. So I'm imagining that I could be doing lsd and wanting to take the listed stuffs. Would that be dangerous is what I wanted to know. I'll skip mixing stuff if it's dangerous. The problem is because of my addiction, I sometimes cannot control wanting to eat certain things. So I'm not sure if I'll stay away from consuming anything while I'm tripping. I don't want any mental or gastric side effects. I just want to make sure nothing bad happens.
  9. You can't expect enlightenment to cure you. All it can do is offer a new perspective on suffering. What y are talking about is spiritual bypassing
  10. That's incredible. Thank you so much.
  11. But ideals and fantasies serve as an inspiration for real life goals. You could aspire to be like Einstein although since Einstein is not living anymore, you could still use him as an inspiration.
  12. @Nilsi overfishing is a part of illegal fishing. Ok enough debating.
  13. the whole point of rules is that people shouldn't break them You need a proper stage Blue for rules. What you say or suggest screams Red
  14. Why is eating ethical meat wrong? I don't see any problem with demanding that what I eat should come from a good place. If I use a faulty transportation system that can put my life at risk, does that make me a hypocrite. Absolutely not. It only means that I don't have any option other than the the transportation service afforded to me. At the same time I can protest the transport authorities to make safer transit systems for people. You are not looking at this with an Empathetic meta perspective
  15. @Nilsi by the way much of the fish is wasted and discarded. So much for demand lol. They could give all the discarded fish to me, I have a huge storage area in my fridge.
  16. Because they don't follow rules around legality. Certain places aren't allowed to be fished. They can fulfill the demand even by following rules. It's the same thing that goes with animal poaching. The demand is just an excuse.
  17. I explained the difference above. I can eat meat and at the same time demand ethical organic farming as well
  18. Overfishing has less to do with consumption and more to do with reckless illegal fishing.
  19. I agree with the user above. By simply being yourself you aren't supporting double standards. You only want systemic change. When a structural change happens you automatically try to align to it. That is what humans have been doing for years.
  20. @Michael569 thank you.
  21. Do you know of more stuff that's similar to that?
  22. Journaling always helped me brainstorm. Just a tool. I think actual action needs tons of motivation and this needs some red energy which I apparently lack.
  23. @Ulax thanks
  24. I don't particularly enjoy doing anything except journaling and art work. I feel good when I'm journaling. That's the only thing I can do without needing any extra motivation. I don't feel forced when I'm doing it. But any other task except writing/art feels like a pressure on my head. I'm most relaxed when I'm talking to friendly people or journaling. And I can only feel motivated when I'm doing relaxing work.
