  1. “Life is really simple but we make it complicated” Confucious. Could it be true that we are over thinking things with all this philosophising and it's bringing in more worries? All these questions and contemplations? In Chinese the word question and problem is the same word (问题) as for them its the same, maybe there is some value to this? How about just rising above all these questions (by being awareness) and watching all the problems disappear? The key to me is not the problem itself but what you are identified with when you see the problem. If it's awareness then the problem doesn't remain around for very long.

  4. I agree that life is nuanced and needs complexity. I am massively into the topics you talk about like politics, societies, developmental psychology etc. The problem I have is with the deep existential questions as from my experience using the mind to question whether or not life is an illusion or what is death just creates existential angst which can be better dealt with in stillness.
  5. John Butler talks about it here
  6. bloody beautiful quote
  7. The thing which I feel opposes it is he is big on asking deep existential questions, self enquiry and all of these types of themes. If questions and problems are the same then how about just transcending them and floating in pure awareness.
  8. meaning is in the eye of the beholder. What you consider meaningless like celebrity gossip for example is incredibly meaningful to them and therefore is meaningful.
  9. J. Krishnamurti is becoming one of my favourite thinkers. He points out a lot of the spiritual traps on the path. This is his official youtube channel full of wisdom. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC88A5W9XyWx7WSwthd5ykhw
  10. will science and spirituality eventually merge? If so when and how

  12. Look in the mirror and admire how perfectly created you are - look how the whole body works perfectly together, how perfectly designed your eyes are to help you see. Look at all the intricacies of how you are designed and what a beautiful creation it is. Focus on this more than the appearance of it - that part isnt as important as the design of it.
  13. You will definitely like the youtube channel fluidified if you are into this type of. music.

  15. I know in the first episode of 9 stages of Ego Development Leo talked about the importance of being able to put on different lenses and try to look at this lense without filtering through the spiral dynamics lense which I agree with (even though it is difficult to do). Anyway I do see a lot of similarities: The Symbiotic Stage - Biege The Opportunist - Red The Opportunist - blue The expert - orange Acheiver - Orange Pluralist - green Strategst - yellow Wouldn't you say thats a good thing that they basically back up each others findings? Would you say the main differences are that Spiral dynamics is more about societies where as The 9 stages are about the individual from birth. It seems to me that according to the 9 stages every starts at the first stage but with spiral dynamics as its a society cultural model if you are born into a culture or family that is spiral dynamics stage orange then thats where you start? Would this be accurate or am i way off?
  16. Fear is resistance to a future situation that you aren’t accepting - Leo "I want results in my life I have to take massive action, I only have one life I’ve gotta make it happen” Leo Gura Leo Gura “Society is an amusement park for the ego to distract you from looking inward”
  17. frontline make incredible documentaries. I loved the conspiracy one on Alex Jones. It actually coincided with Leo's recent video on the trap of a toxic life purpose nicely.

He is fondly known among elephant lovers as Raman & enjoys a huge fan following across Kerala. He opens the door of the Vadakkumnathan Temple for poora vilambaram for Thrissur pooram festival.
  19. I would like to see you do interviews/talks with non dual masters like Rupert Spira, Mooji, Adyashanti, Ken Wilber etc. Would you consider doing such things in future episodes?

  21. Jiddu Krishnamurti talks about investigating everything for yourself and not believing anything you read or hear and i'm at the point now where I can remain in the silence for a while. I don't know if this silence is the awareness or if I am aware of the silence? but how can you know that this awareness is omnipresent and all there is? To me it feels like I have this space of awareness in just the same way that others could also have their own space of awareness. I know the theory that awareness includes me so all there is is awareness but as Krishnautri says don't believe the theory go investigate for yourself - that's true spirituality, and at the point im at now it feels like I have my own awareness just as others do.
