  1. Hello friends! I've just watched Leo's The Theme Of Things Going Full-Circle video and I was curious. That whole business of contemplation that he talks about, does it work on a linguistic level of inquiry? I mean, does it investigate the meanings and boundaries that we force onto an inseparable reality. Plus, how can one get to the bottom of things only by thinking about them if we were to put aside all the other activities geared towards the truth of no-self for that matter, such as meditation, reading books etc? BTW, I am very well aware that my perspective is nothing but a naive one. Still, I am open to listen and see some new souls speaking out. Have a nice day.
  2. Hello everyone! So, in the literature of enlightenment I have been seeing the notion or the understanding that one can only relinquish his grip on the ego completely after he gradually builds up and strengthens his sense of self. I guess I saw this idea passing in The Road Less Traveled by M.Scott Peck, as well. Could you people elaborate on that further as to why this is so? Given that the purification process, so to speak, is a journey that involves layers throughout which the pervasive effect of the ego is more and more diminished, if you are cognizant of the fact that chasing success is a dead end street for example why bother with it? So that you see it for yourself afterwards that it REALLY was inauthentic after all?
  3. Thank you! that was helpful.
  4. But the thing which you think makes you feel sort of authentic in the first place could in fact make you go round in circles in the long run. That thing could manifest itself as a limiting belief nonetheless. So is it really the right way to negotiate its efficiency in terms of how it makes you feel? I am being overly doubtful here, that I know. @Lawrence
  5. Hello Everyone, and this is my first post here! So, I was watching Leo's Concentration vs Meditation video and I got immediately curious about the nature of insights which might come up during a concentration practice. And I gotta tell you I'm kinda sensing this is a bit silly to ask but could those insights that one observes and sort of judges as being mystical and gratifying in fact lead us astray? I mean, could they be false in the first place? Thank you in advance!
