Wow yes, those are the words! Thats how i feel! I think my issue would be, then, that i don’t quite know myself what helps me to get to that stage of energy.. The best way i get relaxed is when i dont do much. I just lie there and let him play but then i feel bad because i feel like i need to also do something but what turns me on the most is when i do nothing and pretend im sleeping I really like your advice, i will give it try. We kind of started doing the « sex for him » and « sex for me » thing. But im wondering if differentiating it before we even start, would it just set the wrong tone? Thank you ?

@Spiral how can you constantly have different sex ?! ITs time consuming to come up with new stuff and i feel like i m too lazy

@Shroomdoctor ummm i never really gave thoughts to that one. I do but i think less than before. Is this normal to feel less attracted to your partner over time ....? Especially when you ´ve been with someone for a long time. Its hard to tell how strong that attraction is .

@Dlavjr maybe only once a week since we dont live together. but as a woman, i can go a month without having sex and not feel it if i keep my mind busy with other things. I feel like with holding it might not help in my case

Just for clarifying, you still have sex with your gf and orgasm, or no orgasm whatsoever at all?

What about basic self help books though? I find they help with building a healthier emotional state -

@lmfao @Space a NEWBIE technical question about kriya: its the prelim exercises that im confused about 1. for the alternate nostril breathing, i keep yawning during it which defeats the purpose of the breathing exercises.. what to do about that? 2. ocean breath: how do i know if im doing it correctly? i watched some videos on youtube but im really not sure how to constrict the throat exactly? thank you ! -

Hi im looking for some practical advice for my situation. Been in the rut for about 1 month, on and off. I finalized a pretty big school related application the end of November during which i burned out. While i am still recovering mentally and physically from that, i have received bad news this past 2 weeks (family member falling ill, multiple interview rejections for various schools that i applied to, another final exam coming up next week). so the past week especially, i have been ruminating a lot, especially regarding the interview rejections, analyzing all that i couldve shouldve done differently, I worked damn hard but that application process is known to be unforgiving, so i wish i did more research earlier , i wish this and that. i stopped meditating regularly for a while, cant just seem to bring myself back to it. running and studying are the only 2 productive activities i do at this point. otherwise im just in a pretty irritable mood with everyone around me, i stopped preparing my lunches, i watch youtube, go on different forums, and just feeeling like a victim from all the interview rejections. i did receive some offers, but the rejections are beating me down so hard that i cant even bring myself to be happy or confident about the offers. my sleep is getting better but i m just tired of feeling sad all the time about the interviews. i mean there isnt anything i can do to change the outcome, so what can i do to get out of this rut, and to learn from this experience? whats the first step i should take to get out of this mindset? thank you all , i appreciate your help and advice

@Alex we can’t always afford a week off unfortunately, but I do have the Christmas holiday coming up so it would be a good occasion to recover. What you said is similar to what was said in the video above: dopamine fast! thanks!!
-
@Spiral Wizard thanks! but more practically what did you do? Did you just listen to the videos? What did you apply pragmatically to your life to help you feel better and learn?
-
@Raptorsin7 I watched it!L sounds SUPER hard to do. Have you tried it yourself? i might do that one day over the holidays thank you

Like outlandish said, i like stayfocused on Chrome there’s also newsfeed eradicator for facebook also on iPhone/iPad you can add restrictions to block certain websites but having used those tools for well over 3 years, eventually they don’t work anymore.. you get used to it and you find other ways to bypass it ... i guess ultimately it’s harder than just finding apps/external tools but they are a great start and they helped me immensely
