@Aaron p very occasionally.. weed gave me panic attacks 70% of the time i consume it, especially edibles. my first ever panic attack was triggered by weed. i stay away these days .. i think i have a more anxious nature. and i tend to react with panic with susbtances that alter my state of consciousness.... -

found this on leo's fear videos 12 METHODS FOR DEALING WITH FEAR: 1 - Face your fears head on. Just do the thing you fear. If you avoid the fear, all it does is deepen the fear. 2 - Put yourself proactively to challenging situations. Don't get too comfortable. Push your comfort zone. Be bold on purpose. Be bold, not reckless in a stupid way. 3 - Training. Massive experience. Massive exposure. Expose yourself to something mindfully, conciously. Feel into the fear. Get comfortable with that fear feeling. 4 - Rigorous mindfulness practice 20-30 minutes a day [see episode on Mindful Meditation] 5 - Be totally present. When fear comes up, if you're able to be totally present, you can notice that your mind is jumping into the future. This can be done through a lot of meditation practice. 6 - Psychedelics. One of the most practical and powerful tools for dealing with fear, because it puts you face to face with death. 7 - Kriya yoga, which is sort of a meditative yoga rather than physical [see episode on the Importance of Yoga] 8 - Contemplation using a journal: what is this fear? Why is it arising? How is it connecting back to my identity? Contemplation alone will not be enough, though. Fear is too powerful to just reason your way out of it. [see episode on How to Contemplate Using a Journal] 9 - The letting-go technique. The Sedona method. [see episode on The Power of Letting Go] 10 - Breathing conciously, slowly and deeply as you feel the fear. [see episode on Body Awareness] Fear is a physiological phenomenon. 11 - Visualization and law of attraction. Overwhelm the fear with a positive vision. 12 - Love. Love is the ultimate solution to fear. Whatever situation in life that you're in when you're scared, the most counterintuive move you can do in that point is experience love. There'll be a separate video in the future on how love and fear inter-relate. Be grateful and more appreciative of life. When you feel grateful in your heart, there's no room for fear. When you're feeling afraid, do something selfless to another person. Help somebody. Fear is selfishness incarnated. -

@Eren Eeager i am not afraid of them but its not wise to just straight up recommending antidepressants to people lol. idk where you are from, but i was not taught to prescribe SSRIs like its Tums. i dont see how they would help to solve the root of the issues. my panic attacks are brought up by the psychedelics, they reveal a part of me that i need to face, a fear that i must have the courage to embrace. i really dont think SSRI's are what im looking for as they will reduce my symptoms (i guess) without me actually knowing or understanding my fears. my panic attacks are circumstantial, always regarding death and existence. i believe also psychedelics help you discover and heal your psychological traumas. no one is perfectly psychologically sound. -

do you take them? you speak of them very lightly as if it were some magic pills. I dont meet the criteria for depression or generalized anxiety disorder. therefore, SSRIs are not the right solution to my current situation. thanks -

Because the flu is much less contagious than CoVid. People are freaking out, not because covid is more virulent, but its spreading power; because the health system cannot handle that many sick people at once. The measures we have taken is to flatten the curve so that people who require hospitalisation or intensive care will actually have a place. its a no brainer that it works... we get infected through contact and respiratory tract droplets.. -

i bet you said more than just "i am god" for them to put a form on you. from my experience as a medical clerk rotating in psych, putting legal lock-down form on someone means they pose a serious risk either case, yes be careful -
I have never developed a healthy way to deal with bad news. when i get a bad news, usually it means i did not get something that i really wanted and worked hard in, my ego back lashes and i go into full on rumination, depression, self criticism route and i do nothing all day but ruminate, stalk, and waste my time thinking about what couldve shouldve wouldve. does anyone know how to break this cycle? how do you deal with undesirable outcomes and bad news in a healthier way? how do i allow myself to fully immerse in the experience and just live my emotions instead of ruminating? i just feel so depressed for the past 3 days and i have no motivation to do anything. i dont know how long it will take me to get over this but to move on in life i must get over it.. any help is appreciated thanks so much everyone

Hey . I feel your struggle i went into medical school partly because of pressure from my parents . When i got in, i had no idea What i really wanted in life and what im good at. During medical school , i discovered spirituality and for a long time i did not see myself fit in with the rest of the medical students and doctors. Something was off and i felt i wasnt made to fit into this mold. however, i had no better choice than to continue because becoming a doctor was the most promising career in my hands and plus, i had no idea what my skill sets are. Also i knew that i do like interacting with people. I do find it rewarding to help people with their illnesses and difficult situations . It was more the medical community and rat race that i couldnt endure. With my interest in spirituality, i began getting in touch with psychiatrists who are conducting studies with psychedelics with MAPS. This is what made me excited and passionate again about medical school. I found that psychiatry for me is a great way to combine spirituality and my interest and soft people skills. it is very possible that i might not get into psychiatry and do a general practice but i began to see the endless possibilities that i can do as a medical doctor to help heal my patients. if you love spirituality and psychology, you just have to go for it! Think about what parts of it interest you and dont be afraid to contact people! Talk to people who are doing things that interest you. Through my inquiry with MAPS, i discovered religious groups, met leaders from religious groups, met big names in the psychedelics medicine community. You’d be surprised at how receptive people are even if you have zero connection. i havent figured it all out yet. Maybe i wont practice as a doctor my entire life and i would be ok with that if that where my heart wants to take me. but i know that following your heart and try new things is the best way to discover your creative potentials! good luck!

i have some orgasm dysfunction during sex with my boyfriend. the issue i have would be having trouble to reach orgasm , and/or not being able to stay engaged in sex. usually after about 20 ish min, ill get uncomfortable or frustrated, and the more frustrated i get the harder for me to come. i can rarely have sex for a long time because i quickly get desinterested... and i also get "used" to the sex. i have been with the same partner for over 2 years and we found many exciting ways that would make me orgasm instantly, but overtime, i get "used" to it. so the things that once made me come so quick and multiple days in a row can no longer stimulate me. i mean we can be creative, but not infinitely... sometimes, i just wish i could orgasm on simple missionary why does it get harder and harder and harder for me to be turned on and orgasm...? for those of you who are in a long term relationship with the same partner, what have you used to help your sex life? i have spoken to my boyfriend about this multiple times. but we havent been able to find a good solution. i feel like i just dont know what it takes for me to come when im with a partner. its sometimes easier when im on my own but i dont know how to bring that into the relationship. i was sexually repressed when i was an adolescent and didnt really express sexuality in the healthiest ways. i relied a lot on erotica to orgasm during my adolescence. and i still "have" to go back to them once in a while to orgasm. if anyone has anything to share or advice for me. im all ears thanks !

@moon777light yes i definitely do! And i tried to not have expectations and it did work for some time, but then the cycle kind of repeated itself, and i started having issues again. I do think the issue is with sexual repression and not know my own sexua energy very well. how did psychedelics help you in this ? Thank you for your advice
-
@Leo Gura thank you ! i agree the deeper issue is there. I was trying to find a book from your list on that issue but couldnt find any. Any books or videos of yours that you recommend? I started rewatching your « how to have amazing sex » video, but it was more for males, although very helpful !
-
@MsNobody hey thank you ! i focus on orgasm because sex itself is not tantric. Orgasm and moments before the orgasm is what feels the best for me so i am not sure how to make the sexual energy stronger. did osho mention some practical ways for experiencing tantric sex ?
