  1. @NoSelfSelf I haven't gone to any parties in the last year. Why bother doing sth I don't like but regular social stuff that I can't avoid I've gotten more comfortable with.I don't use social media either. I have worked on my social skills I don't think if you don't take any action to deliberately solve them they would go away, it would only get worse.
  2. But you said it yourself that appearances affect other appearances. That person will certainly not feel the oneness with the world anymore.
  3. @NoSelfSelf I'm INFJ too. The reason I took a personality test in the first place was because of my social struggles. I would always get an awful headache each time I went to a party and get bored to death while everyone around me seemed to be enjoying their time so much because of that I thought there must be sth wrong with me and being that way was cool for myself but because others didn't get me I sort of wanted to find some good things about being this way and after I took the test I got so pleased with the result but since then I've become somewhat extroverted I don't have that much struggle anymore but still deep down I haven't changed. About friends I have quite a lot of them. Anyone I spend enough time with that they get to know me a bit better they usually stick around for a long time even when I don't want to be friends with them and clearly show that they still want to spend time with me anyway. When I do like someone and we become friends it will be the best friendship ever. I have a few friends I'm really close to and whenever we hang out we have the best time together but only if we are close enough. I love medical field and being a researcher and that's what I like for a career but I'm sure I'll run some other businesses too.
  4. How to do proper affirmations? One thing at a time or multiple affirmations together?
  5. When reading a paradoxical sentence containing two completely opposite words you pause a little bit think about it for a while and then you come to this moment when you say yeah that's an interesting way to put it and it feels like you've understood it but when you come back to the sentence again you realize it's logically not possible to ever understand a sentence like that yet it feels different. So do we really understand paradoxes or is the feeling only an illusion ? In either case how can it be?
  6. PMS is killing me. The last time it took 2 weeks to go away and now that it's over for this month I feel like a totally different person ;All motivated studying for more than 7 hours a day -feeling confident - feeling like I'm on top of the world- happy - sleeping well and on time and waking up early - no overthiking over trivial things and I practically put my life back together. But you should've seen just a day before my PMS finished. I was actually considering suicide for real feeling unattractive as hell feeling like life has done me a disservice for bringing me here like everything is against me I practically had my face glued to my laptop watching torture movies one after the other for two whole weeks and trying to feel their pain in the movie and adding their misery to my own . And right now I'm kind of worried about this if this keeps happening month after month It's going to ruin my life at one point. But the severity of it differs each month but there was a point that I thought it might be bipolar but after observing the cycle carefully I realized the close link between this mood and my periods so I don't think it's bipolar. I would really appreciate any solutions you might have.
  7. You use that disgusting example a lot but if someone actually did that to you what would you do? Gently put the soup away!
  8. @Leo Gura It's off topic but the rules and guidelines you have written in the beginning of this forum have a harsh tone to them for that reason alone I didn't join the forum for a long time until when I had a problem and just came here posting without paying any close attention to them.
  9. @Lorcan Make a decision that enables you to have flexibility and freedom as you go on because you might dramaticly change your views on what is important to you long term but then if you haven't left any room for mistakes and exploring your options your stuck and there's no going back so it's better to play it safe in the beginning till you figure it all out then go on and take risks .
  10. @Jacobsen I've read it might be responsible for releasing DMT in the brain that way it could also explain the mysteriousness of dreams as well because it's also the gland responsible for sleep cycles. The DMT part is not proven yet I guess but in general it is a mysterious gland.
  11. @Joseph Maynor when you think about all the stuff he talks about the reincarnation comes as the ramifications of it but not directly he's never mentioned it.
  12. It's not the first time he's said it you know
  13. @Chives99 Yeah so true I usually have lucid dreams and what you said about surrendering and feeling like going away forever I had a dream just about that I was floating and moving fast going nowhere and I just felt like if I let it continue I would never be back again it really felt like death at that moment I was thinking about what my family would do without me and couldn't handle it anymore so I woke myself up and I was thinking it would be easy since I felt like I was conscious already but as I was waking myself up I felt like going through many phases to then realize the difference of awareness I had just experienced.
  14. @Max_V I'm too lazy for that and I'm still very dependent on my parents so right now it's not really about what I want I gatta wait till I'm older. The course though starts with simple moves but for more advanced ones you can fuck up your body.
  15. @Max_V I'm not an expert on this but for start you can check out edx's yoga course. Yoga was totally a vague thing to me and the course starts with the most basic stuff it was helpful for me.
  16. @Shanmugam No the story was good very funny and interesting. When I was a kid I didn't even think about how babies are born let alone have a conversation about it but all of a sudden I knew everything about it like I've always known it.
  17. I was sitting on the floor in front of my closet looking at no particular thing without any thoughts when all of a sudden I started seeing sth on my closet I had never seen before so I grabbed a pencil and a note book and drew what I saw so I could show it to others it was really a cool experience to have here's a photo of my closet Try to see if you can make anything out of it. And here's the picture I drew: Now you can take another look at the previous picture to find it. For me the closet was never the same I see all sorts of shapes other than this when I look at it.
  18. @Nahm I saw it as an angel. From the head trace the other parts.
  19. @Leo Gura About evelution is not random you might be right because the metabolic pathways that exist now are so complex that if nature didn't know exactly what it wanted it would sound so impossible to happen but scientists ignore all that and say it has had enough time to randomly create chains of reactions that fit their larger role so well.
  20. @Leo Gura but it does seem true that math can say wather sth is within its grasp or not.
  21. @Leo Gura Mathematicians like to say math is the best tool for investigating reality because it makes the least assumptions (which to them are obviously true) and it also can tell you if it is capable of giving an answer on a specific matter or not so it's like a complete science that has all the answers before hand.
  22. Pms

@Nahm I do overeat excessively in this time. the last month I didn't but the month in the comment I was constantly eating potato chips and unhealthy stuff. It's a combination of factors affecting my mood I think I'm starting to figure out how to control it.
