Felt really insecure and worthless today. Going to the gym has been one of the things that has kept me somewhat sane during my long bouts of depression, so I decided I wanna share these pictures to potentially inspire some people. If you work at it step by step, you can change. We’re all gonna make it

@Benton True, but I'm a human so humans are more useful to me

An ant doesn't have the potential that a human baby has

Looking good man, awesome to see. I've been tracking my gym progress over the last couple of months, comparing pictures and seeing my body growing overtime has been super fulfilling.

Hi friends! Since early age I've had intuitions here and there that I should pursue writing as a career. The past half year I first really realized that this is what I want to do and so have been writing pretty much every day. Now I've come up against my first wall. By introspections, I've come to the conclusion that to break through requires interaction with other writers or avid readers. First of all, I write in English, which is not my mother tongue (I'm from the Netherlands). I might have different interpretations and meanings assigned to words because I did not grow up in a primarily english-spoken country, which could lead to potentially wrong grammar, use of words, etc. Though I feel I have a gift for language, I recognize my shortcomings and want to work on them. Next to that, I realized that though being a writer is sort of a solitary career, like most artistic and intellectual pursuits, bouncing ideas off other people and discussing and reviewing eachothers work is super helpful. So here I am now, looking for someone that I can help me review my stuff and talk writing/art/literature with. If you think you might be that person, I would love to chat. All the best, Max

@Benton That made me smile! Always great to help others discover great artists. Kendrick’s work has so many layers, every time you listen you discover something new. Much great stuff ahead

For people with spiral dynamic blue shadows, it's great. Teaches you to abide by rules, discipline, integrity. Many people skip over this nowadays, but it is the foundation for a lot of things needed to live a good life.

@The Mystical Man That’s awesome man, enjoy!

I love Mishima. Spring Snow is my favourite for now, while I read his other works

I feel like MBTI lacks nuance. There are almost always things it cannot account for. Of course there are people who perfectly fit the stereotypes and cognitive stacks, but most people fit loosely in one and some cannot be fitted at all. I think cognitive functions are a thing, or at least something resembling it, but perfect types probably don’t exist. More realistically if you buy cognitive functions, I believe an ordered list of most skilled/predisposed functions to least, like Big Five f.e, is able to be more useful and maps better onto reality

Camus has been a great aid in lifting myself out of depression and creating a happy life. Also as a writer myself, he’s a great inspiration

Ahhhh.. I think for me it's Avatar The Last Airbender. Such a beautiful show I've been watching ever since I was a kid

Video games, like most things, become unhealthy if it is impulsive and gets in the way of working on things that are important to you. You need to be able to control yourself. If you cannot pace yourself and control your impulses, your mind is weak. For me it's a hobby and something I do on the side.I can control myself, so it doesn't get in the way of anything. Just one more thing that enriches my life.
