@LaucherJunge Ye I recognise that haha, but don't be fooled by the thought "A little edging won't hurt" or "Does it still work ?" , that one mainly comes after you pass the one month mark, it can really fuck with your head, let me tell you. I think generally as you are shedding old toxic habits and installing high consciousness ones in your life, nofap gets way easier. I was addicted to porn, mainly masturbation since I was twelve, but now that I'm really working hard on myself, the desire to feel 'better' or orgasm is going, because I generally start to feel awesome and motivated all the time. So keep going, you fokken got this laddy

@Shin I feel like it was a good introduction to enlightenment. I probably wouldn't be open minded enough back then to immediately go and read The Book of Not Knowing. Although I do feel like The Power of Now doesn't really go deep into topics like the conceptual dominance of our experience for example. But this could also just be me, maybe if I read The Power of Now now, I could get some more juice out of it. -

@Ether It’s not an idea, when you have an experience of this yourself - even a very short one - you will know what I mean. -

@Ether I would say the opposite. We are talking about your death here. -
After watching Leo's new motivational video (which I found really great) I got the idea of creating a page in my commonplace book specifically for visualising my Self-Actualisation journey and goals. I never really did something with visualisation, so I plan to watch the video covering that as well to get some more insight into how it works. I have a couple of ideas of what to put in there but I was wondering if you guys have any more suggestions of how I can make this page ultra-motivational to read when I'm down or having a tough time.

@Anna Konstantaki I’ll use this, thanks! Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Lately I’ve been feeling this neurosis coming up inside of me that I always have to be doing something meaningful or that has great impact. At the end of the day there is always that subtle evaluation if I did good enough. If I did not waste day of my life. Every day gone by without working as hard as I can on myself or a project feels like a failure. It feels like I have to make every day count because I will only have 70/80 years more to live and then it’s over. I want to die fulfilled and happy. How do I release this neurotic belief?

I want to give the vegetarian diet a shot. I'm already far with cutting all toxic stuff out of my diet. The only thing that is still in there is whole grain bread. Which I eat about 4 to 6 slices of a day. If not eating meat can make my body even healthier why not see how it will effect my system. So my question for you guys is, what supplements or foods should I implement in my diet when meat is completely cut for at least 1 month?

I’m going through exactly what you are describing here. I’ve cut out everything except whole grain bread which I still eat little portions of every day. What would you say are good meals throughout the day that keep my clarity and energy levels high, but at the same time fill my body and don’t make me feel so weak? -
@Faceless Very significant points. I will go and inquire into my fear of death Thank you!

I know this feeling very much. 50 minutes into my meditation and my posture is incorrect or a lot of repressed memories come back, I must force myself not to move and punch the wall It's really hard sometimes but persevere, you got this. -
@Shroomdoctor ahaha, that picture's fun

@pluto Thanks, that helps out a lot!

Well, after contemplating it for a while I've signed up for a Kundalini yoga try-out lesson. This is not only to meet new people but also for consciousness work. I thought about doing it mainly after watching Leo's video on attraction and how females are attracted to men who don't hide their feminine side but accentuate it. So the past few weeks I've just let all the "I must be masculine!!" nonsense go. I tried went the authentic route and expressed myself as emotional as I am. There has always been this inner critique on "A man must be stoic and grounded" meanwhile I'm naturally more a sensitive and emotional guy. Honestly I'm scared as fuck to go. I've come a long way with pushing my comfort zone and getting more confident but this step is a tough one to take. More so because I can't hide like I have always done. I'm there and showing myself which is something I struggle with. What I was wondering is, the guys who do yoga on this forum, how is your experience with being in a mainly female group? I'd like to ask you too @ajasatya because I know you have some experience on this topic.

@Nahm Thanks, much love. I will take a look at your receipe it looks interesting

@ajasatya I really like that. Doing do nothing in public haha! I will try to stay mindful of the feeling of discomfort and the “I am not good enough” thoughts that come up. I am actually really looking forward to trying yoga. I’ve always been naturally interested in it, but repressed the interest because of the belief that it is not masculine or will make weak in some way which is obviously baloney. So let’s see if it resonates with me @Shin I’ve become at peace with any silence in conversations. I actually quite enjoy them because it It reminds me of self-inquiry for some reason. Also I’m indeed still a virgin. Idk if 18 is late but I suppose it’s fine. If I remain authentic and at peace with my self it will happen sooner or later.

Just a couple new questions I have with creating this healthy diet for myself. @Shiva and maybe @Leo Gura, do you have some advice on these questions? Is 70% cacao chocolate healthy or should I keep away from any chocolate? What vegetables should I have in meal that are crucial for easing the hunger feeling and have the most good stuff in them? What are some good healthy snacks I could eat imbetween meals other than fruit? (I’ve been mainly eating apples and bananas)
-
@Shroomdoctor Just drink almond milk haha, it has a good amount of b12 in it. I will check out later if the intake from that is enough but it's a start. Also eating a lot of different nuts is good.
