  1. @RichardY I have to learn about how all of that would work because the stupid school system never explains how resources and having land even works.
  2. Stage Yellow observing a deep orange person
  3. If he really dove head first into the coins he'd most likely die
  4. @RichardY I'm not sure I follow. I'd rather have money than land because if I don't have a buyer for the resources I have what good will that do me to just have those resources. Money can be transferred into anything it's more fluid where as land and resources are more concrete.
  5. @Keyhole You're welcome. Here's some info for you to start looking at https://www.yang2020.com/what-is-freedom-dividend-faq/
  6. Just do some more research on it. Look at it from an objective point of view and try your best not to let ego get in the way. Good luck.
  7. How our view of reality is warped by media.
  8. @Serotoninluv You're preaching to the choir man. Where are you from?
  9. The UBI communities get will create work because if people don't have work they wont have the money to spend. The job creators stuff is bullshit that's trickle down garbage. Work is created by customers not bosses if there is no demand there is no work when people get the money there will be demand and there will be work. You're thinking about this the wrong way.
  10. The finger doesn't have the ability to point at itself
  11. @Bodigger I'm going to be honest with you. I sarcastically made fun of him and insulted him here and there too but, I deleted those comments because they seemed in bad taste and I was trying to deescalate the situation. These people are so entrenched in their "live free or die" paradigm that they go berserk when you challenge it. I'm glad that you're letting go of your ego and shedding your skin. I see the same kind of opinions that you have that are similar to the opinions these people have. On the other hand at least you're not the same person you were two years ago and if people are really growing no one should be the same person they were two years ago. So are you saying not to forget as in remember that what you did wasn't good and use that as a reference? I also got this guy to take a minute and to self reflect in a private chat.
  12. This is progress you're open to discussing it... In my previous post where I talked about Anarchy being a clusterfuck look at the ego backlash on this guy when the entire community didn't like the idea of it and I didn't even want to talk to him anymore. Then he apologized for going off the rails.
  13. @Leo Gura It's all in good fun
  14. Yup all a bunch of mind games. It's not just Politics Politics... it's family politics, community politics, homeowners association politics, and.... even the Politics with in yourself like when you think someone is a jerk when they talk too much but, then you get excited and you talk too much and not even realize you're being just like that other person. It's mirco and macro levels.
  15. Make it illegal and arrest those who pass the difference to the customers. Make a way to monitor it as well.
  16. Use reverse psychology and call them communists for the 2008 bank bail outs.
  17. As I talk about rigged here's a man who's acknowledging it https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2019/08/andrew-yang-2020-message/596122/
  18. This Dollar Vigilante guy just made a video attacking Yang and Bernie yet, when one does some digging on him you find how much fraud, lies, and insanity there is among the anarchist and libertarian communities. They're the ones that advocate that people just be free to do whatever the hell they want and then they're surprised when there are scam artists and thieves among them and they have no way of recouping financial losses and they want to do this to the rest of society at large smh. https://www.borderlessblog.com/jeff-berwick-is-a-conman-scam-artist-and-asshole/
  19. Other forms of violence other than physical violence. Even if no one raises a hand on your neglect is still a form of abuse so other man's inner kings in a libertarian society will neglect to take care of the most vulnerable people. Then there's the inner warrior that you see in online comment fights where people turn into keyboard warriors and will even go so far as to tell people to go commit suicide and they are better off dead online so they can cause big psychological harm to people. Then (we even have a form of it now) the shadows of these men will create a system so dysfunctional and devilish that when all the power is consolidated through resource gathering and a rigged economy and when shit hits the fan and people get so pissed at these corrupt devils and liars they will project and say you see "these people are violent and unreasonable they are violating the non-aggression principle" it's very easy to do that when you mess everything up in the shadows ruin people's lives in tricky ways where you're not "physically attacking them" yet, you are stacking all the cards against them in a tricky way and then talking about yourself as this non-violent benevolent savior of humanity.
  20. I agree if someone needs more than $1000 to survive because of circumstances not in their control I can understand that UBI can't replace the welfare state... YET a lot of people fall into the holes of the social safety net, hate the hoop jumping, and sometimes have to deal with institutions and case managers that are rude and harassing. It's a very paternalistic system. Also on the other hand there are people like me who feel stuck in a rut want to do something like start a business and/or a passion project but, we're in a constant state of breaking even or even making no money at all. This would provide a catalyst for people to be creators, inventors, and thinkers instead of wage slaves. On the other hand it'll also save people who feel stuck into joining a predatory MLM or a shitty job that treats them badly. So I wouldn't be too quick to call a UBI a libertarian trojan horse if it's opt in and really lets people concentrate on something more than being a wage slave. @Leo Gura I think you should read this https://medium.com/basic-income/there-is-no-policy-proposal-more-progressive-than-andrew-yangs-freedom-dividend-72d3850a6245
  21. Extremely selfish people thinking they are the benevolent liberators of humanity smh.
  22. @Leo Gura Agreed. I was part of a community a while ago that was all about Autonomy and they named the name of their course with the same name. Unfortunately it became a breeding ground for anti-government hate. Then when I said that I was for Andrew Yang and UBI they started lashing out at me in the craziest ways possible. The entire community had an ego backlash against me. That makes me wonder though... How would they feel if someone took everything from them except their underwear dropped them in the middle of the jungle with 0 resources and 0 money and just told them to become a millionaire in a year. How libertarian would they actually be with an experience like that?
  23. Libertarians have a closed mind about everything else. Although I heard that the Libertarianism of Europe is not the same as the US. US Libertarianism is an extremely virulent and compassionless form of every man for himself where the rich and powerful do whatever the hell they want and the ones with the least resources can be their slaves and that's "true freedom" in their warped and/or uninformed minds.
  24. OK Well then in that case @Leo Gura what would you like to see in Yang that you see in Sanders? I really don't think they should be fighting instead they should be sharing their best ideas with each other. I just think that Sanders was good for the 20th Century and we've passed that Yang is good for the 21st Century but, that's just my bias and I understand that with in myself that's why I'm open to suggestions and other points of view.
