@Widdle Puppy Think back to some peak experiences you've had in the past... Remember how alive you felt? Don't let your routine stop you from getting momentum. Desires and neurosis do leech our energy, but think about what's possible outside of "this" (Your current reality/daily routine) You're actually in a good phase, because this confusion will give you a lot of insight as to what you can fix and what you can strive towards.

@Leo Gura Would Ouspensky and Gurjeff be classified as deep Yellow?
-
@SoonHei From what I understand, Eckhart Tolle is trying to say that the mind's momentum has nothing to do reality 'now'. All of the mind's preferences come secondary to Being, yet we live for the most part, completely mind identified, in a sense of delusion. Can you sit and just 'Be' or does your mind's momentum want to keep you idly preoccupied with some menial task?

@EugeneTheSage Dive into direct experience. Consider how much theory, videos, and books you have already read. How much did you actually learn from them? Are you embodying that in your day to day life? Most likely they are just stored in your subconscious somewhere. Take some action!!

@KMB4222 Keep the notes, its a good thing that you're keeping tabs on yourself. Perhaps set a timer for a certain part of the day to go for a walk or run, so that you can hit the "reset" button and when you come back, you do something else instead of collecting more knowledge/theory. Maybe that walk/run could set u up to become more pragmatic?

Sahil Pandit replied to Viking's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Viking Your wellbeing must be up kept and well maintained like a world class race horse, or else it'll whither away and fall back into old patterns of Being, which, you probably aren't content with im reckoning. Daily micro improvements add up. -

@Freakrik It's not that black and white. There are a lot of factors involved. Also, Spiral Dynamics is just a model, not reality itself. Stage Green has a lot of room for various things and people aren't usually only in just one stage. In my experience, pick up came to me after i had been in green for a while. (Still am mostly identified with green)
-
@zoey101 This is the type of yoga i do, and it can definitely help you out. This is an advanced version, but i can help you begin it! Trust me the beginning stages don't look anything like these contortions
-
@Freakrik I think that a stage green person feels inauthentic doing pick up, usually because they don't feel comfortable with the idea of seducing a girl or being slick with an intention to sleep with her. Although, pick up is still an option for green. However, it would be something more authentic, with no agenda to get laid per say. Although it could be... Stage green at first doesn't like pick up because it is reacting to orange, but later in stage green it becomes okay because orange becomes more integrated, therefore less resistant to going out and having fun with girls.

I wrote this in the midst of a mushroom trip i had a couple hours ago, while reflecting on what i felt was right to me in the moment, enjoy It's all about love, My love for you is beyond time and space, My love for you is beyond the sorrows of the world, The sorrows are no match, for my love, Wherever you look, my love is there, looking right back at you, with a smirk and twinkle in eye, Closer than close, my love for you is intimate, Your giggles amount to just a tease in comparison to the amount of love I have to offer, my God. All the prana in the world comes from me, but you are quick to forget... ... Where have you been for so long? I've missed you old friend.

Lately, i have been treating almost everything as a transactional process and it has been making me question fulfillment. Processes that i used to enjoy now no longer seem to satisfy me, and i am left with a feeling of "seeing through" it. No cravings, no stimulation, no external thing has fulfillment anymore... I am not sure where to turn, but i would like to hear your thoughts and experiences about fulfillment. Do you have it? Are you seeking it?
-
@DocHoliday Some good pointers, i will definitely take these into consideration!
-
@aurum That makes sense. Need to move more toward depth and create meaning instead of seek it.
-
@NoSelfSelf I need to make love the Void.
-
@dynamics Transactional process as in, An experience arises, whatever it may be, pleasant or unpleasant, (doesn't matter) it is experienced, and then it is gone. All day, over and over. An endless cycle. For example, i thought that i would find joy/love in a long bike ride. So i rode 20 miles. When i got back, i felt the same as before i had left. The experience happened, and then it was experienced, then gone... No amazing sense of accomplishment or fulfillment. I feel this with almost everything in my life.
-
@DocHoliday I have a lot of green tendencies but i feel that i glossed over orange because of how shallow it made me feel. Need to go back and develop a healthy orange so that my the stage green becomes more stable, if that makes sense. @K VIL To me, the morning is full of confusion because of all of the dreams i have, sometimes up to 5 recorded dreams. It feels like lifetimes have past and then i wake up, in my bed, questioning the validity of it all. Very strange... With the LP you mentioned, for some reason the question "And then what?" Keeps appearing, i haven't been able to shake it. I need to focus on the process instead of the result, is that it???

Are you keeping track of all your daily habits? Once you create categories in a Common Place Book and begin to optimize every area of what you are doing on a daily basis, the sky is the limit if you can stick with it for months at a time! Personally, i have created over 100 tabs that i have realized are important for my life and LP. Building daily awareness is the key in creating a powerful common place book
