  1. Awareness isn't a thing. And it's not personal. It's completely formless, and the only way to "know" it is to "be" it. The inquiring mind will also run its course and dissolve into awareness soon after you've reached your peak frustration with the inquiry.
  2. @korbes You're not "in it". You are aware "of it" You already ARE everything, but from your perspective, it's just belief with little direct experience of seeing the Ox. A radical re-contextualization needs to happen.
  3. @Leo Gura @The Don "Why has life become a plan, to put some money in my hand."
  4. What is the biggest obstacle you have overcome? What was the most challenging situation you have ever been put in? How did you overcome this adversity?
  5. @Shin I'll trade you a Graveler for a Machoke?
  6. @Pharion Looking forward to seeing your progress
  7. @K VIL Lol GOGGINS is right!! I still run and i'm actually the coach of that High School now hahaha. The theme of things going full circle
  8. @Leo Gura @winterknight Please do a dual commentary on a topic
  9. @K VIL When i was a junior in high school, i was the team captain for my cross country team. 1 month away from the championship meet, i decided that i wanted to take my friends with me to the mountains to train hills, so that we could be better than the competition. So, on September 27th, 2014 at 9:45am (this moment is engraved into my brain..) i took two friends with me to the mountains. We had to hop fences in order to get passed private property. The gates were barbed wired, but we jumped anyways. WE WANTED TO WIN no matter what. During the run, about two miles in, we were running uphill and this is where things wen't horribly wrong. As i was running up the mountain with my friends my foot got caught under neath a rock and i IMMEDIATELY fell straight toward the Earth with zero chance to brace myself for the impact. As i fell, instinctively, i put my hands out.. EXCEPT i put my hand out the wrong way, with my palms FACE UP .. so when i fell i hyper extended my elbow and it snapped out of the socket.. yep, you heard that right. Dazed and confused, i lay on the ground with adrenaline from the fall coursing through my body. I tried to get up on my own but i literally didn't have the strength. I had to have my friend help me. I wanted to keep running, i was addicted, but my friends said we should head back. So we walked 2 miles back to the beginning of the trail. (I'm going to leave out a lot of detail, DM if you want to hear the details) Fast forward. The doctor said i might need bolts in my elbow to re attach it. I said hell no. Instead, i decided to keep training. I ran for the next month and i held my elbow above my head for miles and miles. Also, i trained on my stationary bike with my hand above my head. My whole elbow to my wrist was completely dark purple. Come race day, we race. 2 miles into the race, I feel divine inspiration wash over me and i run a personal record race. I ended up running 18:03 for 3 miles with a broken elbow... Not only that, but i placed well along with my teammates, and we won the championship. As soon as i heard we won, i ran to our school bus far away from everyone and i just stood there crying and crying. I couldn't believe we did it...
  10. @ZZZZ Have you tried Shamanic Breathing? If not, go for 10-15 minutes until you feel fear/doubt. That fear/doubt, investigate it.
  11. @Pharion Nice, i just did this a few weeks ago. Question: How are you going to spend your "extra" time?
  12. @Pouya Perhaps there's still feelings buried within you deep down that need to be expressed. Maybe you should call "that" person. Perhaps you need to that the "talk" that you've been putting off for too long. Just some suggestions. Good luck
  13. @Trinity 4:21 in the scene demonstrates the Jokers deep understanding on how to be the ideal antagonist in the film. He KNOWS that Batman is a moral guy, and would not kill anyone. Because of this, Joker takes advantage of him and finds joy in the suffering, knowing that he can't be killed. In Jokers sick mind, he begs Batman to kill him. But we both know, that Batman wouldn't do such a thing. Watch this one:
  14. @luismatos This is such an important topic that we need to discuss more about. Purging feels like straight suffering at times. But afterwards, I feel lighter and more open to be vulnerable in difficult situations. For me, purging has to do with repressing authentic emotions and desires. This often manifests in repeating dreams, telling me to open up.
  15. @Shin What are you doing today that will help you tomorrow?
  16. @Kloof What do you do for a living?
  17. @Ryan_047 There should be some good books under the category "Emotional Intelligence" at your local book store.
  18. Counter intuitively, dying before you die is the best thing one could do
  19. @Jed Vassallo Man if this isn't raising red flags for people... Thanks for that.
  20. How to not use the past as a reference for your mistakes, which causes a self reference loop. Also, How to over come comparing yourself to your past accomplishments
  21. @The Don Be the master of each situation. Every opportunity you have to talk to a stranger is an opportunity to work on your: Intention, Clarity, Tone of Voice, Resonance. Also, your enthusiasm and levels of interest in what the other person has to say. Articulating yourself is definitely a skill that has to be worked on in order to improve. Small improvements and corrections can go along way. For example, i used to slur my speech because when i got excited i started talking too fast without being conscious of what was flowing out. I later realized that I was doing this and now i talk slower and try to be precise. Also, I have worked on my tone a lot more, because people can feel what emotion you are speaking with, and whether or not it is genuine.
  22. I like this point. I enjoy breaking down movement of athletes and showing my runners what muscles are being used while running at certain speeds. Also, things like yoga and breathing techniques, shamanic breathing, and mindfulness can go a long way in aiding an athlete's development.
  23. @lostmedstudent Break this down into simple terms. What's the most important thing you want to improve?
  24. @Jed Vassallo Was extreme suffering the cause of your shift from corporate to where you are now?
