  1. Is the current crisis an opportunity to bring our culture to stage green? Western society was mostly focused on stage orange. When I think about what's next there are some scenarios that lead to totaliarism, war, chaos and much more. But on the other hand I think there is also the possibility, that we have the option to develop to stage green. Some examples: - Social distancing -> it's more feminin - People care more about each other (of course there are selfish episodes like hording but people seem to care more, what going on in the life of other and I think they will learn it in the coming months - Introvert-lifestyle is now the standard - nature is recovering - we are all equal in this crisis - relationships seems more important - people care about each other - We won't be in such a materialistic abundance. Most industries won't recover fully. Instead of thinking "How can we reach our productivity level that we have before the crisis began" we can ask ourselves "How can we do it more harmonizing with nature?" Some things I mentioned will flourish in the next month to come. I'm total aware of the downsides that are about to come. But we should make the best of it and create a better world. Now everyone is stuck and in panic mode so society needs people that thinks ahead and plan what will change after the crisis. I know, the future seems very dark. But isn't that just a perspective? Shouldn't we accept that this is a huge opportunity to go to stage green and think about it carefully, how we can implement those values now into society? What companies are in a Stage Green society? What are people doing on their daily life? What needs to change? I think, now it's a perfect time to ponder about those questions and start something new because the time is just right for thousands of new things. What do you think about it and what ideas are there in a new stage green society?
  2. In all of the videos about politics and now about corruption, @Leo Gura never talks about political ponerology. Quote from wikipedia: "Political ponerology is an interdisciplinary study of social issues primarily associated with Polish psychiatrist Andrzej Łobaczewski. As a discipline, it makes use of data from psychology, sociology, philosophy, and history to account for such phenomena as aggressive war, ethnic cleansing, genocide, and despotism." (more infos https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_ponerology) Lobaczewskis conclusion was, that the root of all evil is poorly described in all religions and all politics. After he studied a lot of different areas in science, he found out, that criminals have in common that they have a personality disorder. If a human acts in an evil way it is most certainly because he has an antisocial personality disorder (aka psychopathy) or narcissistic personality disorder. Leo, your philosophical thoughts about conscious politics are good, but I think it would be wise to implement this concept and study those two personality disorders in more detail to have an understanding why those personality types are able to cause such big harm throughout the history of mankind and have no moral compass and empathy whatsoever. To even have the foundation for conscious politics, Lobaczeski recommends screening methods and to improve the knowledge about this topic. People are then more likely to spot someone with such a personality disorder and being able to act more carefully in their everyday live and even more important: don't elect people with such a personality structure. The book from Lobaczewski is on youtube:
  3. Hey folks Although Leo pointed daily reading / audio books as a core practice, I've found barely any recommendations for audio books. I have a few credits in my audible account and wanted to ask what audio books do you recommend for self-actualization. Thanks for your inputs :-)
  4. Maybe the transition to Stage Green isn't the right time for you. But if you feel like you want to transcend and you have gotten the insights of Stage Orange you can ascend. You've pointed out only some negative parts of Stage Green which you can find in every stage. So try to find positive aspects of Stage Green that resonate with you and cultivate them in your daily life.
  5. I was a video game addict myself many years ago and was a hardcore gamer for 8 years of my life. You have to realize, that when an addiction is so deep rooted into your mind, you won't be able to control it just by will power. I will be very hard to not backsliding. Back when I quit, I realized that I have seen it all. And I get kind of bored, while I also was playing for hours. So I saw no further benefits for me. Be honest to yourself: For your way in self-actualization and enlightment you won't need video games. If you want to be serious, quit your games, deinstall them, put them on ebay. If you have a gaming console sell it also. This was my way, and now my gaming phase is more than 10 years ago. A milder way would be to give all your games/consoles to a friend, and he/she should keep it for 3 months. After this time, you won't see any reason to game anymore. If you have the urge to gaming, and you deceive yourself with downloading games or browser games etc. take apps, that block these programs and internet sites. Your mind will come up with excuses, and you will tell yourself, that it is only entertainment and not so bad for you. This is your addiction, treat it like this. I know it's pretty hard, because those digital dream worlds are very addictive and at the same time fascinating. Nowadays I sometimes watch video games on youtube and this is so far away from me. It's kind of interesting, how the graphic has developed, but I can't imagine to play hours in a virtual reality. You will also get to this point eventually. But be careful. You have to find the root of your addiction. It is not video games, there are an underlying reason you're gaming. If you don't find this reason, you will replace this addiction with something else.
  6. One of my top values is love. So I'm looking now, how I can implement it fully in my day. To me, love has a lot to do with - connection with humans, topics, thoughts, things etc. - communication to express love in an open, and truthful way - caring about myself, abouth others, about nature - imtimacy in a emotional, mental and physical way I assume a lot of you have also love as a core value in their life. How do you implement this core in your every day life? When do you remind yourself to act more lovely and how do you do that? I'm looking for some inspiration to dive fully into love, and see it not only as a concept but also as totally in my life integrated. How does your 10/10 love life you can imagine looks like?
