  1. @kieranperez Get out of the toxic environment, work on your psychology (codependency, cognitive dissonance, learned helplessness, lack of personal boundaries, developing healthy self-love, etc). Also, check out Richard Grannon's vids. Knowledge is power, get empowered! Hugs
  2. Where else do you think the content of your thoughts comes from.. the pink blob of fat we call brain?
  3. Peace, because there is no 'you' to carry or solve anything
  4. @Ilya Objectifying as thinking in terms of separation. As long as you see yourself as a separate entity (duality), you'll see everything else as 'the other'. Non-dual awareness would help see that this separation is actually an illusion, and from that perspective 'the other'/objectifying is no more. That's why they also call non-duality the Absolute and duality the Object reality. When you objectify, you operate from the latter perspective.
  5. @The White Belt Hell assumes duality. In non-dual awareness, there is just No-thing-ness/God. And I liked Joseph's definition of religion I used to worship the idea of Jesus and all this Christmas commotion is bringing bitter-sweet memories back. So good to be free of that.
  6. @Shin Those multi-color bangs are trending right now...lamoda
  7. Lamma tell ya... It's my Birthday today... relatively speaking, of course
  8. It's interesting that the Buddha got awakened by witnessing the suffering of others. So it seems that suffering can lead to disillusionment either way.
  9. I mean there is space in your scull and no identity lives there.
  10. It's not about being in trance state. You still go about your daily business, but with a no-self perspective.
  11. Good! Now stabilize in non-duality by embodying it. Yep. That's why meditation alone is not enough. No-self can't be sucked into anything.
  12. Still mind and 0 thought would not be enough. You need a no-mind perspective. No-mind can't trick you
  13. @onacloudynight Meditation will help to calm the monkey-mind. To self-realize, I'm not sure. The Absolute can only be realized from the point of no-self.
  14. @onacloudynight One of the words for enlightenment is self-realization. It's only through realizing your true nature as no-self (self-inquiry is designed to help with that) that would lead to realizing the Absolute.
  15. Not sure which one is more hilarious here - JP or Matt Kahn XD
  16. @Scarecrow I prefer reading only paper books. Kindle never really worked for me. Keep penning
  17. As someone who doesn't use psychedelics myself, but read about them, with proper use (meaning done for consciousness work in a safe environment), rather than causing 'damage', they're supposed to help slowly de-activate the 'monkey mind'. And that would be impossible without altering brain chemistry to some extend. If one decides to take them, do it mindfully, gradually, and along with developing good lifestyle habits like healthy diet, regular excercise, meditation, etc. In other words, consider the whole body-mind connection approach.
  18. My newest and first singed piece of artwork
  19. @Sri McDonald Trump Maharaj LOL That coffin at the end of day for him is right
  20. @egoless The concept of evil/hell assumes duality. And since the Absolute (non-duality) is free of paradigms/concepts, thus just what is.
  21. @Nahm Thank you for the kind words, means a lot
