15 hours ago, QandC said:Leo speaks to us. We're all ego-biased until we're enlightened. How is he gonna explain it in other ways? I think the guy who makes the response videos operates from a more egoic consciousness by judging
Ye, a bit of a superior vibe and he still believes in a reductionist model of the world as dogma

If he's helpful for you then great. Personally I don't find him worthwhile to listen to, given he actually blatantly copies a lot very specific concepts from Bashar without giving credit and you can see he's still has it's own doubts (though not that that invalidates a teacher, but it's worth noting).
The part of his source of inspiration, Bashar, I can very much recommend, best guided meditation ever I've listened to for example, helped me ball my eyes out multiple times

Boredom comes from resistance which comes from unresolved negativity or trauma, just go meditate or get over the fear of what you want to do. Don't play the victim, it helps you 0.

@Azreal What do you think of the potential for MeO to be used to help you embody states of enlightenment, do you experience your meditations differently already?
-
I would recommend focusing on meeting and befriending like minded people who are interested in spirituality, God, consciousness. See then if you still feel like hanging out with your old friends.
-
Putting yourself in the victim mode creates more havoc than any release of old emotions can bring, it can be done with ease in my experience
-
I would say, aside from of course the more obvious direct cause and effect things, like smoking giving you cancer (which a surprising amount of people even will act the victim of).
Also things like the butterfly effect, how your small act of kindness can change the whole world:
'You give JK Rowling a smile after her 19th rejection of her book when you walk past her, she musters the courage to try it 1 more time, and creates a lovely viral book series'
So in that sense we are very connected, and we all create the atmosphere from which actions and motivations arise.

I have not, it's an active part of my life. I said it specifically to argue that self-inquiry is actually very much like meditation if not the same thing.
After all, they also bring the same results and for both you need to look away from the world.

'It's just a chemical, it's just a drug'
At an early point in your awakening you will see nothing happens by coincidence, as God is playing in all of us, nothing every happens by accident.
And so certainly it is no coincidence nature produces these chemicals/neurotransmitters like DMT or 5-MeO, in so that we can take them externally if we want(and yes, you can experience it (eventually) without these molecules externally as they are produced in our bodies naturally as well).
And you are high on normal neurotransmitters right now, and if it improves their life, especially then why would it be invalid?
Also thanks for posting OP, I asked God for guidance last night and the first dream I had out of deep sleep was a dream of the toad, OM-ing with him or something.

The act of looking within it self is an act of meditation imo.
But in my experience, self-inquiry alone, as in something you ask yourself a few times and look is just not going to cut it, maybe for beings almost naturally enlightened anyways. You can say it worked for Ramana Maharshi but he spend a few decades(?) sitting in stillness/silence while others would sometimes help him put food in his mouth.
Also Ramana himself, who popularized this method, often recommended 1-2 hours a day of meditation and being focused on the self during the rest of the day.

'Once the purification complete itself, you will end up being all clean and happy (10-15 years from now). This purification comes in waves so expect several stages of neurotic behavior.'
Only if you chose to go along with the ideas arising, you always have free will.

No, it's a disproved assumption. Quantum mechanics shows matter is not separate from consciousness, there is no evidence that the brain creates consciousness and there is a butload of evidence it merely receives it http://evidenceforthesoul.weebly.com/

Yes, I love it, my dreams are becoming increasingly more vivid and conscious as well, I know some dreams can be a sort of middle ground between realms of pure consciousness/spirit (aka the afterlife or thought realms), and our lives , based on one confirming experience I had.
Very exciting stuff, especially because of some interactions I've had with my deceased father.
-
Consciousness is contrary to popular belief not an elaborate hoax created randomly by dead matter, quantum mechanics has long proven this.
And further more, there is no evidence that indicates the brain creates consciousness, or free will, that also isn't evidence for it being a receiver.
And there is a ton of evidence for the brain being a receiver: PSI research, (verifiable) near death experiences, (verifiable) reincarnation testimonies, precognitive dreams, shared dreams, shared psychic experiences and most easily testable shared psychedelic experiences, either in hyperspace or while conscious here. Though a regular DMT or 5MeO breakthrough should make you open minded enough to be able to objectively look at the evidence from there.
Also practicing spirituality seriously will reveal life's wonders directly to you as well, constant synchronicity will eventually be the norm of the day.

I don't have too much experience but ayahuasca is suppose to be really fantastic for it, the others seem to have potential as well. While not common on mushrooms per se I belief, I think if you just have it as your intention and ask it, I'm fairly confident it will deliver. It's something to do on my agenda soon so I'll report back.
Also people report releasing a lot of negativity after their 5-MeO breakthrough. Ibogaine works as well I think.
I found very weed to be helpful in discovering how much fear there is actually still stored in my body.
Also there is a bit of a fad nowadays with taking high doses of raw cacao (not cacoa) which supposedly helps open the heart.
Never the less, still of course it's possible to all do it yourself simply by directing your awareness within, but I would recommend plants as well.
-
That would be interesting indeed ^ ^
In fact, I will try probably in a few weeks though I am not going all too high with the dose, but I'll let you know. -
Fun fact, Terrence actually believed doing magic mushrooms a lot, like a few times a week, would get you to sagehood.
Said in this fascinating video by the way, where he talks about communicating with the mushroom intelligence:
See this video also for context on why he beliefs the mushroom is a galatic being: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlMRiVGfONUBut I've also heard him not recommend it as he found himself becoming too preachy, literally standing on the soap box, preaching to the masses hehe. Luckily we have youtube for that now : p

Just keep at the meditation, mindfulness, self-inquiry introspection as much as you can and let it seduce you into the best ever lasting relationship you could ever dream of.
-
Having a plan is fine, but don't be attached to it, life doesn't work by scripts and you probably will change your mind.
I find the more I progress, the more I want to meditate for example, whereas I had trouble doing 1 hour before, I can now easily do 2 hours in a day. That would also be my critique point, of course to each their own, but that seems like very little meditation, might want to try to spike that up. Also strive to practice mindfulness during the day.
I would also recommend practicing connecting with the deepest feeling you get that is your guidance system from the higher consciousness, also sudden inspirations are something to really pay attention to. And also pay attention to the synchronicities, which you might find clarity through as well regarding life choices.
And the book I would recommend the most is Conversations with God, by Neale Walsch, free to read online.
Sorry I'm sounding semi-jehova, but this is the best advice from my view.

I disagree on the psychedelic part. Psychedelics when used with great care, a good intention and (optional, but still often relevant) good guidance can work for pretty much everyone who is serious about
psychedelicsedit: spirituality. Nature is intelligent and delicate.Agreed on going within to heal the trauma, that's where it comes from, though I do find (healing) the inner child a very appropriate term. We are joyful children at heart.

- Relatively recently discovered
- Ridiculously powerful, way too heavy for most people, thus doesn't spread easily
- Potential for bad trips if one cannot let go (perhaps not really a factor at high doses)
- No fancy things like seeing hyperspace (entities)
- Anti magic pill bias ('no drug can really help you significantly on the path to enlightenment')

It's interesting how infinity, being infinite, goes both ways. Not only being able to stretch for ever lasting distances outward but also inward.
Meaning there is infinity in every cell of your body right now already, which should means cultivating body awareness might be more profound than often thought.
-
I can only advice you to simply stay away from the drama you create, and most importantly practice meditation, mindfulness and self-inquiry a lot.
Aside from that, just live in the moment, see what life brings, no need to be afraid of anything, do what you need to do to support yourself and aside from that develop your expressive abilities and maybe make a living with that one day, or until an UBI is here.

Yeah. Aside from a deep long depression, delusions first came after an awakening experience of suddenly seeing a lot more, my vision just expanded, which happened a few days after an already intense mushroom trip. This made the 16 year old insecure me feeling like I might be better than others, that I might be the chosen one, which eventually led into fear, where I thought that just rather random things meant serious stuff. Wanting to belief I was enlightened.
Deep down I would I knew these things to be untrue, but when you are so caught up in your ego, carrying around a lot of fear, you go tend to (want to go) with it.

All my life, I have never had attained one moment of lasting happiness.
All these things I've done in my life all led to nothing : p
Of course this is obvious when look at what our 'world' is, a hallucination created by your brain arising in your consciousness. And so anything created by the first hallucination is just not real.
Be glad to be on spiritual path, because it's the only thing that actually bears lasting fruit, becoming who you really are, as a joyful happy peaceful ex-static kid and or boundless blissful consciousness is the only thing that's actually real, and it's lasting, forever. Wow!
