  1. @sgn "Life is a dream" means, all the things you believe to be true are not Absolute Truth. Race, culture, society, religion, who you think you are, etc. Those things are not true because they are temporary and changing. God is the only Truth because it never changes. God appears as everything we see but everything is not God. Our body and mind are not God because they are constantly changing. Being in the dream state means you believe all the finite things are Truth even though they aren't.
  2. @JCShannon88 I agree with what the others have said. I think you've been in your comfort zone for too long. Maybe you can do something drastic to get yourself outside your comfort zone. You've been a slave to other people's ideas, that's why you're a nice guy. You need to embrace your sexuality and masculinity. My advice to you is hire an escort and fuck her a few times. You have a lot of concepts about sex and relationships that hold you back from attracting women. It would be good if you break free from all of that shit. Yes, they only like you for your money, but who cares? At least you get to have sex. People will tell you it's not respectable and bla bla bla but those are all just fucking stories. It might be easier for you to hit on women afterwards.
  3. @The Universe You can't become God because you've been God for all of eternity. You can become aware that you are God by destroying your mind. It's counter-intuitive to everything we've ever been taught.
  4. Many of them need to embrace the materialistic side for a while to develop themselves. They can go back to spirituality after economic development, but I doubt that will happen. As technology increases human consciousness decreases so it's only going to get worse. Most people never question their existence until the maturity arises within them.
  5. Energy is always in our body. Chakras are not a concrete thing in our body. It's kind of like a figure of speech. The root chakra represents lower consciousness and the crown represents the highest consciousness. Kundalini feels like a tingling or burning sensation in the spine. I can feel my kundalini burning at the base of my spine. It hasn't gone all the way up yet and I don't want it to. It requires a lot of discipline to make it go all the way up. I don't want to impose that kind of discipline on myself. It's also not necessary for God-realization.
  6. Does consciousness divide itself? Or is that an illusion? Thanks!
  7. If I'm consciousness and consciousness is infinite, with bodily death consciousness wouldn't die would it? I can occupy a different body afterwards and the consciousness in other people's body would remain there. If I'm consciousness and other people are consciousness they are me and I am them. They are just in a different body. Someone who lived in the past could also be "me". Not the ego me but the consciousness me. I realized "Deep" is an imaginary identity. I'm not "Deep", I'm just using Deep's body/mind as a vehicle. I also realized I never experienced death, so death is just a concept. No, I've never experienced infinity but I'm guessing natural enlightenment is different from psychedelic induced enlightenment. It's also possible that there are higher states of consciousness than 5-meo-dmt.
  8. @unknownworld Most people mistakenly think relative truths are Absolute Truth. After contemplating for awhile, I think reincarnation might be true. I just have this gut level feeling but I can't grasp it with my mind. I also can't describe it with words. I think one has to be fully enlightened to understand it.
  9. @onacloudynight Forgive me if I'm wrong, but maybe your consciousness is not as high as you think it is? If your grounded in "higher consciousness", lower consciousness people shouldn't affect you. You should be able to interact with people of all walks of life. You don't have to do everything they are doing. You seem to be developing spiritual arrogance. It's not going to kill you to have fun once in a while.
  10. @SOUL Yes @Ramu I agree @Lavender I'm planning on traveling the world in the future.
  11. I agree with your points. It's possible to become enlightened even if one believes in a separate God. If their love for God is genuine, eventually the separation between them and God disappears. That's called Bhakti yoga in Hinduism. Abrahamic religions believe they're sinners, so it's more difficult. I haven't studied Buddhism in depth, so I don't know much about it. Many of the beliefs would automatically drop of after enlightenment. The beliefs are present because we are identified with the body. I said we have to embrace the mind because we can't think our way into enlightenment. When trying to become enlightened we are going upstream because God is pretending to be us.
  12. I was having problems editing a post, so I'm writing this. lol
  13. It can be a trap if it's practiced incorrectly. If your definition of enlightenment is to become aware of the ego, then yes it's not necessary to stop the mind. If your definition of enlightenment is to experience God, it is necessary to stop the mind. That's how they originally discovered we are God. I stick to that definition so I don't get confused with all the information out there. I can't trust every teacher who claims to be enlightened. I see most of them just sitting in front of an audience mentally masturbating. I'm not vilifying them, if they want to think they're enlightened, good for them. I think many teachers nowadays are talking about becoming aware of the ego. That's also a big step for most people. I consider enlightenment to be when the kundalini energy reaches the heart region during meditation. That's when a person loses body consciousness. Once it goes to the top they merge with infinity. I know that's a very far off goal and it's very rare. Since we are talking about experiencing ourselves as God, it's supposed to be hard. Another misconception I see, is most people think samadhi is a state of mind. No, it's completely outside of the mind. A real samadhi is very very rare and if someone claims to have experienced it, be skeptical. Although samadhi itself is not enlightenment, enlightenment is the realization that we aren't the body and mind afterwards. You seem to be confused about enlightenment as well because you give different definitions of it at different times.
  14. @unknownworld In my opinion, we don't consciously choose our beliefs. The beliefs come out of nowhere. Have you noticed that in your experience? For enlightenment, I agree with Patanjali who says the mind has to be completely stopped. It's not necessary to remove the beliefs. The mind prevents us from seeing reality how it truly is. We see reality for what we want it to be. A few weeks ago I experienced my mind being still. I melted away and became one with everything. There was no separation between the environment and me. It was only for a few seconds, but from that point on I knew the universe is just a projection of our mind. It's like we're playing a joke on ourselves. It's funny and messed up at the same time. I call it God because the whole damn thing is alive. It's the only thing that exists.
  15. You're right, we shouldn't blindly believe anything. It's very rare for a person not to have any beliefs even if they say they don't. The reason Hindus came up with Atman and Brahman is because the sages wanted to explain our true nature to the masses who are living in the ego. They knew that breaking free from the mind is very hard. In our direct experience, we usually feel like an individual. We can't say that no individual exists until we break free. After someone has experienced Infinity they can say for sure, no individual exists. The mind has to be embraced before we can transcend it.
  16. @Leo Gura I was asking because some people can remember their past life. Does that mean they have touched base with their consciousness? Is mind an extension of consciousness? Maybe their is One consciousness and individual consciousnesses at the same time. I don't know.
  17. @electroBeam Today, someone like Ramakrishna (19th & 20th century yogi) would be considered schizophrenic because he was able to interact with Goddess Kali. He was able to see her more clearly than he saw people. Maybe it was true for him. Spirituality is a very subjective experience. It's wrong to force everyone to be the same. That's how the world takes away our individuality. I used to work in a lab. I realized science is also subjective to a certain extent. When I was collecting data, my mind was projecting onto the experiment. That's why there is lots of politics in science as well. I agree that suspecting hallucinations is a valid point. The problem is that most people are in the dream state so it would be hard for them to believe any of this stuff. It would be better to keep it to oneself. When you have a real spiritual experience, you'll know it's not hallucination because it's millions of times more intense than what you're experiencing right now. I would be angry about getting schizophrenic tablets. It's fucking stupid to prescribe unnecessary pills. Leo's videos are a part of the dream state even though they help people.
  18. @electroBeam The other two pathways are Jnana yoga and Bhakti yoga. Jnana means wisdom; through extreme wisdom one can become enlightened by discerning what is illusion and what is reality. Bhakti means devotion. It can be devotion to any cause or God one believes in until there is no separation between them and their object of devotion. I suggest mixing and matching from different yogas. I use some discipline from Raj yoga such as truthfulness and mix it with my life purpose. It helps me become congruent.
  19. Yoga was not just about following certain bodily practices. Sage Patanjali devised a system called Ashtanga (eight limbs) yoga or Raj ( royal ) yoga. It says that before one sits down to meditate, one has to implement certain disciplines into their everyday life. There are 10 such disciplines, including celibacy and truthfulness. It says one has to practice those disciplines rigorously to get their mind under control. The disciplines are not imposed because sex is evil or anything like that. They want to break free from the idea that they're the body/mind and if they chase after sex it reinforces the idea that they are the body. The Buddhists have a similar thing called The Eight Fold Path. Now the good news is that Raj yoga is not the only pathway. There are as many paths as there are people. Another pathway the Hindus advocate is called Karma yoga. It means working for the greater good of society without any expectations for rewards. Like a doctor who treats his patients just out of love for humanity. He is brushing away the limited idea of who he thinks he is.
  20. After watching Leo's video of 5-meo-dmt, I concluded that being God we wouldn't have any concepts. At the same time, our awareness would be expanded to infinity. Assuming that 5-meo-dmt is similar to real God consciousness, we would have a hard time functioning in society. Why? Society is built upon false concepts that have nothing to do with Absolute Truth. For example, most people believe death is a literal thing. After enlightenment we would have to pretend to believe in what they do. Why do you think many sages live away from society? Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry you feel that way. My intention was not to preach. At the same time I'm not here to tell what you want to hear because spirituality isn't about pleasing people.
  21. Hey, I feel like sharing with you something that can help you realize your true nature. I can only point you in the direction, you will have to realize it on your own. All of my words will fall short because language is a dual concept. I can't assign anything specific to the Absolute because the minute I do that, it will exclude other things. This may sound vague but that's just the way it is. The Truth is very obvious but you've been ignoring it your whole life. You've been ignoring it so you can play this game of duality. You've also been trying to find happiness outside of yourself. How do you do that? By trying to fulfill desires. "If I get that new car, I'll be happy," you think to yourself. Your ego contains desires because it's geared for your survival. Nothing wrong with that, but it can backfire when trying to find your Self. Your mind projects labels onto reality. For example, when you see a chair, your mind labels it as a chair. The chair doesn't jump into your mind and say, "I'm a chair." The mind creates an illusion of separation because it helps us to live a human life. You wouldn't be able to function if you felt like God all the time. At higher levels of consciousness that separation disappears. I define God as the life force within you out of which all experience arises. That same thing is within billions of organisms (probably infinite). Inorganic matter is a less conscious manifestation of God. It's responsible for everything else you see. Everything that you see is also you but your mind creates a division telling you it's not you. You were born liberated but you conditioned yourself out of it. You began to search for happiness outside of yourself because others told you that's how life is supposed to be. How do you become liberated again? By going within yourself 100%. For liberation, my research says that you have to become one with existence itself. When you become one with existence your mind will stop projecting onto reality. It's not necessary to be aware of what exists such as the chair or building. Only be aware of existence itself, which is you. The deep inner knowing will come but you won't be able to put it into words.
  22. @Mohammad Thank you, we are all in the same boat.
  23. Technically there isn't anything outside yourself because other people are also God. They just express themselves differently because they are using a different body/mind. I know it sounds crazy. As long as you realize it's just a game, you won't suffer. Yes, you can do it through art, music, dance, science, poetry, religion, meditation, yoga, self-inquiry, etc. Take your pick.
