I Don't really care that much anymore, but I Don't want people to judge the quality of a post because of a number attached to the op. It doesn't mean anything except that the op is either old on the board/post a lot or both. Either case it doesn't mean the posts of the op are more meaningful than others. What are the things you do enjoy ? What is THE thing you do enjoy the most to do ? I personnally enjoy to do a lot of things, but If I don't do this particularly thing for a relative long time, I will feel hollow no matter what I do. What is this thing for you ? You might not know what that is for now and that's ok. Even if you do know, I would still encourage you to get Leo's Course, because just knowing what it is isn't enough, And also to double check yourself on that.

Why are you reacting like that ? And specifically when someone or yourself is being labelled as having a victim mentality ? Have you ever ponder this deeply ? Do you even want to, or do you find an excuse for not doing it seriously ?

It's the most important thing to discover for her. When she will clearly see this, then she will be able to make real progress. There could be better ways to say it for sure, but you can't beat around the bush if you truly want to help someone. At some point you got to tell them the truth, and when you have a victim mindset, the truth hurts SO MUCH that you prefer to call it bullshit.

The good news is that you can completely turn around your life. I've seen people going from a victim mentality with 0 success/happiness in almost all department of their life to people with such enthousiasm and joyfullness that it becomes ridiculously contagious.

My Buddhist teacher told me (today) that there is no such thing as a source/god or existential oneness between all things. He also said that Buddha is an extraordinary being, and that it is unrealistic to think you can become a Buddha (they see him as an ideal, not as a possibility). From my point of view, this is not so different than worshipping a god. Just so you know that even Buddhism is deeply flawed. You can only count on yourself to take all the information from as many (non bullshit) sources possible and experientially see for yourself what they all really mean. Don't follow or put anyone on a pedestal or you will limit yourself greatly.

No it is because I verified it in my own experience. Right now I'm sitted in my bed writting this text, I have no idea if my neighboor I saw 3 days ago is real. I can remember her, I can imagine she's there behind this wall. I can even imagine that the sound of the guitar that is playing comes from her, or that if I hear his voice she must be there (could be someone else playing, or someone with a similar voice). But in the end I have no direct experience of her, even if it's seems very convincing. Therefore she doesn't exist in reality from my personal experience, like literally she isn't real.

Everything you don't experience is a belief. You've been born ? A belief. The earth is round ? A belief. Your wife is real ? A belief (unless she's next to you right now, she only exist in your mind). The moon/sun exist ? Depending on the time of the day, that's a belief (and even then, you only see a shape in the sky, you don't know if the things the scientifics says about them is true). Your car is real ? A belief. The workplace you will be in X hours to work ? A belief. It's not because you experienced something in the past that it is more real than a belief that is purely conceptual, they are the same. They both only exist as ideas and meanings in your mind.
