  1. Don't think I'm talking from a position of superiority, I'm not enlightened. I'm just messing with you Bentinho also says there is no end to it. Now of course this is all hearsay, still needs to see it from our own eyes (so to speak ) I personally think (and this is an assumption ofc), that there is actually no end to realizations, that it is an infinite mindfuck that goes on and on. We may just only have known 2 or 3 level for now, or maybe the level after are impossible to describe, or you have to leave the body/mind to experience them (you would live as a entire dream for example).
  2. A lack of empirical investigation, or what I would personally call True science, Is one, if not the number one trap if you want to awaken or even to self-actualize. We can call this by other labels like spiritual bypassing, spiritual knowledge, or simply being knowledgeable in general. It doesn't matter how you call this, like everything else in life, words are just label to describe an actual experience, That we never experienced for ourselves, 99% of the time. If you really want to kick ass in life, and if you want to realize what you really are, You can't have the luxury to believe or trust anybody about anything. I'm not saying that you should think everybody is lying, or that every scriptures or science studies are false, I'm saying that unless you personally experienced what those things are talking about, You don't know anything about it, You only have the illusion of it. If you think you know something, why bother having the actual experience to confirms it ? You see, if you already think you know, then there is actually no point to discover what it really is, You already "know" right ? Don't underestimate what I'm saying here, this is actually at the core of all problems in your life, This is what the ego is all about, a need for certainty based on a illusive sense of knowing. So if you want to know what enlightenment is, for real, Not as an idea, not as a mental projection, not as what "x" teachers/person say what and how it is, You need to drop all assumptions and mental imagery about it, All of them. Don't think this is only applying to spiritual awakening, certainty about your beliefs is what keep you stuck in your "worldly life", too. It concerns every aspect of your life really, Everything you want to embody as a habits, you will first judge, believe or disprove it beforehand. If that wasn't enough, even if you believe it, even if you think this is true, Since you think you know about it, most of the time you won't try it. Again don't underestimate what is being talked about here, Everything you do, or not do in life, comes from the fact that you think you do know, when you don't. Judging someone or something, shopping, studying, relationships, your health, There is nothing in your life that is not impacted by a lack of empirical investigation. Basically, if you aren't empirically investigated what is important for you in life You will never know what it is, in reality, experientially, in actuality. What is empirical investigation ? Empirical investigation is having the experience about something, directly, For yourself, in your own life, with your 5 senses, or beyond when it comes to spirituality. The mind is tricky, it is a sense but it can distort and make you believe things that aren't true. So you can't count on your thoughts to do empirical investigation, It will fantasize about everything and anything. How do you experience anything without thinking about it ? That's actually the only way to experience anything. Like I said, the mind will distort everything to suit his agenda, how it think about life and the world should be. You can't do true science by believing something that is by definition highly subjective … To experience something in its essence, you must have the experience directly. Without the filter of the mind and its fancy theories about it. If you adopt this kind of mindset, that you actually know nothing, You will try lots of new habits and experiences, your relationships will be way more enjoyable, too. You will start to truly investigate life, you will be really curious about everything. Not only you will do all those things, but the most amazing thing is that you will stop assuming anything. Why does having no assumptions could be amazing ? Do the empirical investigation, and you will know
  3. So you're assuming infinity has an end to express itself ? Interesting ?
  4. That's still thinking you know. If you truly stop assuming, you couldn't say «this is it», for you wouldn't know what would be next. Yes or no ?
  5. Yes there is no point to try to remove concepts from our mind. That's not what this is about. It's about knowing that our knowledge, our concepts, are only mind imageries. It's understanding they are only a finger pointing to something we can experience in reality (and sometimes not if they are hoax). Knowledge is only ignorance if we believe it to be true or not, If we accept it as a possibility, neither true or false, then it becomes empowering.
  6. Of course it can ? That's how 99,99% of humanity stays inconscious ?
  7. Do the same experiment than the scientist who discovered them.
  8. Like you say, being conscious has nothing to do with how much spiritual practices you have. That doesn't reflect anything really, because we could still use those practices to have an identity, and still being lost in concepts. What being conscious really means is how much we self-reflect on how we act, think, and impact the world. I'm sure there is a lot of people who never heard anything about spirituality, and are extremely conscious. It's just that in our current society, it's almost impossible for such people to rise, there is such an abyssal pull to stage orange values, which make us go in the total opposite direction. Chasing solutions in the external worlds, when there is no problem as long as we closely inquire within. Chasing happiness in external activities, when the only place we can find it is in ourselves. Chasing love in relationships, when the only love that exist is our own existence. (Not saying this for you obviously )
  9. Had a hard time resetting my sleep schedule, I was dead tired until today Apparently I learned my lesson from the last semester, I effortlessly study now, right after every class. I was lucky (or was I ? ) to get the class I studied for exams, but it may not happen again so I think I have something between 13 - 15/20, by loosely calculating the average grades, And my mind was like "we won't make it, IT'S THE END, ALL IS LOST !!!" weeks ago
  10. Nothing wrong. You need to understand though, that most people aren't living like that, internally it's a fuckfest of melodrama, denials, resistances, and fears. Even though from the outside it may not look like it, because people put masks to hide all this to the public, and even to themselves. Even if what you say is true, that you're 95% of the time happy, no problems of any kind internally, then the other 5% can still cause you great pain, and totally own you. Those 5% may not have made you suffer enough yet to seriously consider spirituality, to see that it is the most important part of your life, In fact it is your life, whether you deny it or not.
  11. When you recognize the space/silence inherent in everything, and just observe it, Is it already inquiring, or there is a deeper layer that I never touched ? There is no difference between meditation and day to day life where I'm at, When I inquire, the only thing that I instantly focus on after a question is this space/silence too. It may sound stupid af, but I prefer to ask ??
  12. Your mind that is constantly seeking meanings, rationalizations and certainty isn't really the problem. Those are symptoms. As an ego you identify with thoughts/dogmas (religious or scientific) and opinions. In truth you don't have to pick a definite side, you can just observe all of this completely neutrally. You will still have thoughts/dogmas and opinion, but you won't identify by taking a stance internally on them. You will know they are relative and not true in their essence. Which means you will be able to live a life with no certainty about anything in the end, which is why highly conscious people are so peaceful. They don't see the mind stuff as real, but they use it as a tool to express their relative view/stance. In time thoughts/dogmas and opinions will greatly diminish in volume, this is a side effect of seeing the mind for what it is, a perception, rather than yourself. Chasing a blank mind isn't what you should focus on if you want peace of mind, but clarity over it, seeing it from a distance so to speak. You could have a very blank mind most of the time, but when shit goes haywire, you would still suffer, because identification to the mind would still be there. This won't probably make a lot of sense for you now, but if you keep looking at your mind as an external perception, as a visual/sound imagery, you will ?
