  3. ? I don't think anyone tries to die, more like you understand that you don't have a choice and just let go. In the beginning you don't really think you're gonna die, you can hear that for years and still not understand. I didn't ?
  4. I think you can be enlightened without having to die, it just happens poof. I also think you can be enlightened with still a sense of self, and having to let it go of it later, That seems stupid, but it would explain some things.

  9. It's a trap if you think knowledge/concepts are the territory. Which is a tendency that the mind have if you still identify to it. For years or decades some people will debate non-duality, as if it fucking matters. Confusing the map for the territory -> arguing which concepts is the most refined/true. Concepts are useful in spirituality, as a general guideline and roadmap, to know what you could encounter, to know you're not going crazy. It's also useful in the beginning to understand why it's important to do it.

  21. It's more like realizing you're a colorless screen watching colors passing before you. Supressing the colors doesn't mean anything, may even fool you to think you're doing it well.
