  1. @Pacific SageThis is Sri Yukteswars theory of the yugas that he laid out in his book The Holy Science. According to him they are way shorter than what the traditional Vedic view say.
  2. This is terrible advice with potentially catastrophic consequences, especially for someone who will try it for the first time. Just because it worked for you doesn't mean it will for someone else.
  3. @seeking_brilliance Alright, good luck if you decide to try it, you will probably have a wonderful time
  4. @seeking_brilliance Ah right. Well do you know how to extract mescaline? I have very little knowledge about it but from what I understand they need to have grown for several years before it is worth extracting mescaline. But yeah, mescaline seems very good for getting aquainted with psychedelics. It made me feel absolutely amazing.
  5. @seeking_brilliance Then a low dose of LSD or mushrooms will be fine aswell.
  6. @Shaun "I came in search for truth, and now that I found something that might be true I don't like it WAAAAHH"
  7. @seeking_brilliance I have only been to one Wachuma/San Pedro ceremony. So a Shaman dosed it for me and I think he gave me a lot. 2 big scoops, whatever that tells you. I'd say a low dose would work for you, you should look it up on Erowid. Though I vomited a lot, but that was after she (two Shamans were present) shot up Rapé tobacco in me, but I was definitely nauseus before, so it can cause nausea. But I don't understand why you'd only be able to use it around your husband if it is close to marijuana? They are not really comparable.
  8. I have done both peyote and ayahuasca ceremonies. Don't go in thinking ayahuasca will be gentler. It can be quite harsh at times. Ayahuasca is something you can't describe really. It can be so different each time. Like a completely different journey each time. You don't know what you are going to get with aya. Peyote is very grounding. You feel present in your body and it is much more smooth. I prefer Ayahuasca as it is more mystical and unpredictible, at the same time full of love and gives you lessons on what you need to work on.
  9. @Kaity I think you are definitely on the right track with this. As I have been going through the same type of stuff. I have been focusing solely on 6th chakra for a long period. I mean as soon as I get reminded to do so it I go back to focusing there, all day, everyday. It has been my point of concentration. I've been obsessed with it. It has increased my emotional storms. So work on grounding yourself. Both with the root chakra and with securing yourself in the world. Then you can start working yourself up. My 2 cents.
  10. I agree with @FoxFoxFox here. This is a fine and calm method. But eventually, if you practice every day, you will get into the "tiny nerve tube" (or more commonly known as the sushumna in yoga) and you will arouse kundalini energy. So at least know it's what you are doing.
  11. Your patience is insane. If I had a forum he'd be banned within a week.
  12. @Martin123 Thanks for the input. You raise very good points and I will reflect on what you wrote.
  13. No, it has been found in rats. Not in humans, it is just assumed since it seems very likely due to the fact that a mammal brain has it (and it is found in nature, in many many plants). So people say it is produced in humans and the hearsay spreads. But there is actually no evidence for it, unless I have missed some study.
  14. @Martin123 Perhaps it does. But I really don't know. When I am on weed I can penetrate much deeper into my being and I go way deeper in general. But the focus and motivation for practices drop. So while it has it cons in the long run it is not by any means useless. Speaking as truthfully as I can: Do I want to be dependent on it? Hell no. And it does create emotional shit when going off it. But I probably wouldn't have kept stable jobs without it. Been off it for a month now and I want to stay off it for a good while this time.
  15. @Martin123 Yeah I definitely have trauma to work through. I have been self-medicating on cannabis in periods basically since I was 20. I am 32 now. It has just dawned on me after watching some Gabor Mate lectures and interviews that I have been self-medicated ADHD. It is so damn obvious, I am 95% sure. At the same time I don't know if I even want to do in investigation with psychologist. For what? Some prescribed central stimulants? Nah. I will focus more on what you wrote. Thanks
  16. Great! Building concentration can be hard and frustrating at times, but it is a great skill to have. It is totally worth investing time on that. Good luck
  17. @Rasheed It does not matter. My advice would be to do both. You want to learn to be concentrated in all kinds of situations.
  18. @mandyjw Well it also shows humbleness. Alot of people act like they are the ultimate authority on everything they write about. Yeah, my change has been radical as well. I have seen a lot of paranormal activities in the last 2 years. And I came from an atheistic background. Even though I have had a lot of weird stuff happening growing up I almost completely gave up my mind to an atheist world-view (Dawkins was my guy) just because it would be easier to function. What a nightmare that would've been, lol. As for communicating love and non-duality. It is hard. You want to find a good balance I think. If you just keep a high vibration people will tend to gravitate towards you. Some people you can see are curious and somewhat open, others are very set in their views. Like my brother was very interested in dreams and their meaning growing up. And we live in a very non-religious country so you get a lot of negativity with that stuff here. So he has hardened over the years. But when I talk about this stuff I see that sparkle in his eyes. He doesn't go that far in conversations about it but I know he wants to. And after awhile he can go like "Well it is weird we exist, I mean what is this really..." haha So you don't want to get preachy, you just want to spark a little curiousity. That's how I feel anyway. If someone gets curious enough they will start to investigate on their own.
  19. Thanks for the disclaimer. But don't worry, I always take full responsibility for what I do. I like getting many many perspectives but in the end it is all on me. And in my opinion you should never feel guilty about giving advice, because in the end it is their own path and their own responsiblity to listen to themselves. I relate to a lot of what you are writing. I have felt energy since a kid. I remember sitting down and pointing my finger to the third eye when I was like 5-6 years old, telling my brothers and mother I felt a sensation there as the finger got closer. They thought I was just being silly, lol. And when I started my path the energy sky-rocketed very fast. This is why I feel we are just continuing from past lives. Of course I don't know the details and mysteries of how this works, but I have had glimpses and nostalgia throughout my childhood from lives that are clearly not this one. Thank you for a very nice and informative reply. Though I don't wish people bad experiences, confusions and hardships. I gotta be honest and say it feels good to know that you are not alone having these types of experiences and blockages. I will probably check out that book in the near future. Best of luck to you.
  20. @mandyjw So this makes me wonder. As a male that has a lot of feminine qualities like creativity, love and devotion. I do Kriya Yoga and my kundalini is active but has not shot, it is blocked somewhere in the stomach area. Would that author advice that I put that path on hold? And do what instead exactly? And when would be a good time to pursue kundalini awakening again? I didn't quite get that. I am wondering because I do encounter a lot of psychic storms and I feel destructive at times. But then again, I always figure it was ego backlash tendencies and it's just part of the game for all of us. It's hard to know what to do sometimes. Because the storms are really taxing on the psyche and body.
  21. For me, the ajna chakra has indeed worked like the commander chakra. Through ajna I have accessed the sushumna. I can feel the chakras. Some days more than others. I have not yet felt the OM's penetrating each chakra specifically but I have no doubt it will over time. I still need better focus, which I am working on. I do mental kriya sometimes when I am walking, it works good for me.
