  1. @John West My advice is, forget about the results. Focus on doing the practice. Let the results come in their own time.
  2. @zambize all negative emotions are caused by thoughts. No exception. @Aakash The Work of Byron Katie
  3. @LoveandPurpose all problems are created by the ego-mind. In reality, there are no problems to be dealt with. If you are not convinced, give me an example of what you consider to be a real problem, and I will show you how it is created by the mind.
  4. @Aakash it will come by itself as you peel away negative beliefs that you have. The more negative beliefs you undo, the more love that radiates from you. You don’t have to put any effort into love. You already are radiating it. You’re not aware of it because negative thoughts are blocking it. Undo those thoughts, and you will become aware of that love.
  5. @Aakash Embodiment includes seeing that anything you thought was bad/negative about something, is not true. So, once you’ve seen that all of your bad thoughts about something is not true, what remains is love/connection with that thing. You no longer have any problem with it. You are happy with it.
  6. @Serotoninluv you’re right.
  7. @Sahil Pandit The Work is far more effective than Kriya Yoga and psychedelics. Good luck!
  8. @IuliannaSalamandra Take it easy. It seems like you’ve dug yourself a rather deep trench. It will take some work to get yourself out of there. I advise you to buy the book ‘Loving What Is.’ It talkes about a shadow work technique known as The Work. Take it up as a practice. Do it every day. Also, try watching this video for starters:
  9. @Manjushri is it really true that you are fucking up? Needing more sleep and energy than you have is a delusional idea. Stop scaring yourself by telling yourself that you’re not ok physically. You are. You don’t need sleeping pills to force yourself to bed. Just let the sleep happen. Feeling tired all the time is fine. Whosoever said that it wasn’t.
  10. @hikmatshiraliyev I think you should experiment with different techniques until you find ‘the one.’ Then just focus on that.
  11. @ajasatya but how do you heal and grow exactly? Surely just being in the marriage is not enough.
  12. @ajasatya Sorry for misunderstanding. I wonder what kind of technique you use to grow yourself using your marriage. For me, I use The Work of Byron Katie.
  13. @LeoBacca I do my self-inquiry practice three times a day. I got that idea from Leo’s Islam video, where he said that Muslims pray five times a day in order to keep their faith strong. In the same way, doing self-inquiry three times a day keeps my mind focusing on this all day. As for duration, it’s about 30 mins per session.
  14. @Aakash Check out the book ‘Loving What Is.’ Lol, why is that specific to just marriage. All of life is about showing you what thoughts you are attached to. There’s no where you can go were you can escape your mind. Even an empty desert. I agree that marriage is an especially successful tool to show you were you are acting out of the unclear mind, but so is everywhere else. Your children, parents, co-workers, and everybody else in your life has the job of showing you where you are attached to untrue thoughts. They are pointing you to freedom.
  15. @Tistepiste It’s best to just leave those kind of people alone and focus on your development. Why do you think that people need spirituality? If they didn’t ask for it, then clearly they don’t need it. Stop wasting your time trying to convert others and focus on your spiritual development.
  16. @Tistepiste The Work of Byron Katie
  17. @Aakash My goal is the clear mind, not enlightenment. Being enlightened alone means close to nothing to me. Living the best life possible means becoming detached from your thought structure. I call that the clear mind.
  18. @Jack River @Faceless This is a perfect description of the both of you
  19. @Jack River I have no clue what you’re saying
  20. You’re trying to escape the mind. I can tell by the way you speak. Read the quote that I have under my post and see if you understand it.
  21. There are many ways to reach the awakened mind. Your’s is one way. The Work is another. As for the elevator, it’s job is to take you to a higher floor. The Work’s job is to take you to a higher stage of awareness. But the elevator has a limit. It can only take you so far. And same with The Work, and any technique that exists. Eventually, you have to get off the elevator to get to your office. Similarly, all techniques must be discarded in the end to reach the awakened mind.
  22. @Jack River of course, digging the past is not absolute. It’s like an elevator. It takes your awareness to very high levels. But eventually, you must discard it. It has a limit. Awareness does not.
