  1. And is that really true? Go in.
  2. @Tistepiste No, but the mind does. And the mind creates pain.
  3. @Tistepiste I’m not at peace of mind yet my friend. I’m working towards it. And even at peace of mind, pain can happen. It’s just that it’s not your business anymore. You are detached from the pain, but still feeling it.
  4. @luckieluuke keep doing the inner work my friend @Preetom Thank you
  5. @luckieluuke I understand that this may sound unkind. But it is reality. If those kinds of things happen, they happen. You yourself don’t have to do it. Follow your integrity. If your kind nature wants you to kill the animal before slaughter, then do it. That is your best way. As for other people, they will do what they do. It doesn’t matter what you think about it, they will do it. So it’s better to come to peace with it rather than fight it internally. What is, is my friend.
  6. @Leo Gura I have to disagree with you Leo. I have been doing The Work for several months, and as I release my emotional blockages, I find myself having many enlightenment experiences. I have become hugely disidentified from my body, and have become conscious of many facets of the absolute. I have a permanent awareness that nothing other than my direct experience exists. If you are right, how do you explain my progress?
  7. Again, this is a reflex of the body. It doesn’t say that somebody is ‘feeling’ pain. Good question. Notice that, without the belief that the child is experiencing pain, there is nothingness. Without the belief that the child is not experiencing pain, you have another thought saying that he is feeling pain. And that thought causes your pain! Undo that thought. Without thought, how can anything be true. The only thing that is true is the void where no thoughts reside.
  8. When animals scream or run, these are reflexes of the body. The body is doing it on its own. That there is some soul inside the tiger that is feeling pain is a belief, and fortunately, the tiger doesn’t hold that belief. You do. It also means that, when you witness pigs screaming in a slaughter factory, the only people feeling pain in that moment are the humans, not the pigs. The pig’s body just has a reflex of screaming. It means nothing about the pig itself.
  9. Of course not. Notice that you do not have direct experience of a pain receptor, nor have you had in the past. It only exists as a concept in your mind. Well, who knows. What we do know, though, is that somebody early on in human evolution believed that pain is real, and has spread that belief across human society. Without such a concept, no pain. Of course, this doesn’t mean that your body will not scream or cry. These are sometimes just reflexes of the body, independent of you.
  10. @Tistepiste who said that babies feel the pain. Of course they don’t. They cry and scream, but we project our beliefs onto the crying and screaming, hence we believe that they feel pain. As evidence, can you remember ever feeling pain as a baby. You couldn’t even remember when you were a baby, because your mind did not yet create ‘reality.’ As a baby, you were living in nothingness. Your body screaming and crying is separate, because those were reflexes of the body. The body cried on its own without you existing. As for when you manifested pain, it was the first time you believed it. You heard from your parents, tv, society, that people feel pain, and you believed it. That’s why today you ‘feel’ pain. You believe that you are supposed to feel pain when something strikes you, and hence you anticipate or remember it. Quite radical, I know. But look at the potential this gives you. If you fix your mind, physical pain ceases to be a problem.
  11. @Leo Gura You talked about your father in one of your videos. What spiral dynamics stage would you say he is at?
  12. @Good-boy happens to us all my friend.
  13. @Tistepiste It’s not really ‘thinking about it,’ in my experience. The subconscious mind does a lot of thinking without you being conscious of it. When you put your hand in boiling water, the physical pain you feel is either remembered (the past) or anticipated (the future). If your (subconscious) mind is very still, you will feel no pain.
  14. Physical pain doesn’t occur in the body. It occurs in the mind.
  15. @Shiva But you can’t live well by protecting your body. You might get cancer tomorrow. Then it’s goodbye to ‘living well.’
  16. I found this amazing YouTube channel, of what seems to be a stage Green Muslim girl and how she lives her life. It’s quite amazing to be honest. She integrates Islam with Stage Green values, which I didn’t think was possible. Check it out! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCO4to6GaDElWA9sV3SrPhhw
  17. @Leo Gura Until a truck hits you tomorrow. You just can’t have health.
  18. @Shin I’m happy for you, my very sweet friend.
