In more recent episodes like 'Developing big picture understanding' and 'Becoming a sage', Leo is telling us to read more books and seek more knowledge. But in the episode '10 thing you don't know you want', Leo said that we don't want more knowledge, and that it is a big trap. So, my question is, should we be seeking more knowledge or not?

I would like to know how to get a samadhi experience. Any book or video referrals will be nice too. I know it has something to do with concentration, but beyond that I don't know.

Einstein is not a sage... -

Okay that's messed up man. Why did Leo call these people sages? I mean they sound more like Zen Devils, people who abuse their enlightenment. -

But why would an enlightened person want to go and criticise all those people, I mean he sounds more dogmatic than a sage. -

Okay, but why did he have ANYTHING to do with those attacks. I mean, he told the authorities that his secretary and her friends were actually behind the attack or something. -
If you're really serious about ending anxiety, you might want to use more 'productive' methods. 'Radical Honesty' is probably a good way to do that. Btw, 'Radical Honesty' is a specialised technique, I don't mean just being honest. But still, I'll give the chamomile tea a try.

I've read Osho's Wikipedia page before, and I saw that he was involved in some terrorist attacks and was kicked out of the US. Was he really an enlightened person? -
So I was reading that book for emotional mastery, and I was wondering, if I mastered her method, could I ever be immune to all negative emotions?

So do you think it's not a distraction? -

But according to Leo, knowledge is a distraction. -

But to develop a big picture understanding you need actual real theory. Yet according to Leo, we don't want that. Should we develop big picture understanding or not? -
There are books in Leo's book list which talk about systems thinking, so check that out.

Check out Byron Katie's channel. It will solve ALL your problems

There are a lot of ways, but the book 'Loving what is' by Byron Katie will show you in a very practical way how to detach from all people and situations, no matter how bad!
-
I used to have almost exactly the same problem you did. I used to be very fearful and anxious about people and what they think of me, to the point where I couldn't leave my house without having this background fear and anxiety, and I could feel it in my body, as my chest muscles would be tense. Personally, meditation and stuff is good, but I didn't find it helpful at all in relieving me of my fearful and negative emotions. But there was a book that I read, called 'Loving What Is' by Byron Katie, which completely transformed my emotions and the way I feel about myself. I've been dong the excersises in that book for around two months, and 80% of my negative emotions, fear and anxiety have turned into laughter and joy. My body has completely loosened up. I very highly recommend that book, rather than doing meditation or stuff, which is good for enlightenment, but I think it'll take a long time before it can transform emotions.

I guess weed is linked to psychedelics, so you could have had a mystical experience. Interesting... -

For me, sleeping for 6 and a half hours is a lot. Most days, I sleep less than 5 hours. -
I was reading a book where the author helped us to unattach ourselves from our thoughts. By this process, negative emotions and bad habits caused by us believing thoughts would be unwired. So I was wondering, if I am able to work on unattaching from every thought that I currently believe in, then will I become enlightened? I mean, the ego is a belief that we have, and if I am able to unattach from that belief as well as any other belief that I have, I don't see a reason why I can't be conscious of absolute truth?

So what are some examples of other things that I have to let go of, given that all negative emotions and bad habits come from attaching from thoughts. -

Make sure you grind through all frustrations that could come up during your meditation
