  1. @Thestarguitarist14 what you're complaining is that black people have less power. But even white people get trampled by other white people who have more power. Anybody who has power tramples on those who have less power. And black people are no exception really.
  2. So? It's inevitable that some group of people will have more power then others. Like I sayed even white people don't have equal power all. Those who have more power abuse it against other white people. Even inside their own family members it happens all the time. Black people are no better. They abuse their power the first opportunity that comes. Haven't you ever used your supremacy as a human being against animals ever? Haven't you ever smashed an ant just because you're so much more powerful? Really let that sink in ?
  3. @Thestarguitarist14 everybody who has less power gets abused imo. Even white people abuse power over white people. Whoever has more power will abuse it against others irrespective of race, age, child, women etc. It’s not directed at anyone in particular in my opinion. Anybody who has little less power are suffering the same fate.
  4. @Thestarguitarist14 ? yea This is the follow up I think. https://youtu.be/_gBUD5f_pJA
  5. I would probably agree with Woke here. Mainly because of his username haha. In a state of cessation there is no experience of sound, sight, taste, feeling, smell, nothing at all. Yet awareness and knowledge that I exist remains. It's called nibbana in buddhism or nirvikalpa samadhi in yoga i think. That would be a strong argument that the witnessing awareness is beyond manifestation and doesn't depend on experience to exist. Awareness can exist without experience. Experience can't exist without awareness. Both are one, but one is essential another is meh..
  6. If flowers had no preferance whether to live or die, those flowers wouldn't bother to absorb the water and nourish itself imo.
  7. I think if body didn't have any bias for survival then it wouldn't bother to heal and maintain itself 24/7.
  8. One without any bias would probably be in samadhi I think.
  9. I would add, put some chocolate cookies in your kitchen so that it motivates to get out of bed sooner
  10. "We're all gonna die anyways" Lol, joking. I would argue the only insight that could reduce suffering is the insight into one's true nature. Or maybe not, idk.
  11. I personaly when can't wake up put my back against the wall and meditate for some time in semi sleep/semi meditation state. Then the lethargy and resistence wears off somehow. I think this could work also.
  12. I think great art is that which uplifts your spirit or can touch you in some deep way.
  13. Well consciouness never sleeps. It's not like conciousness dissapears from existence when we fall asleep. So it should be possible imo. I think it's called Turiya state. Cool.
  14. If one listens carefully between 7:10 and 7:40 Krishnamurti says God is Love.
  15. @WelcometoReality interesing answers
  16. So the end of trying caused the union? What is this non-seperation you talk about?
  17. @WelcometoReality so now what? You stopped trying and what happened? Did you get enlightened? Any shift in conciousness? Any shift in energy? Did the suffering of desire came to an end? Did all internal conflict caused by desire gone away? Did your personal sense of self died? Did you expand into nondual state of presence?
  18. Sharing your progress can indeed be an ego game. To find validation and boost your self image as 'enlightened guy'. Even giving advice is often just a way to feel superior then others and feed the ego. (Very common phenomena on this forum, and I would include myself into this also.) There is a way of giving advice and sharing your progress in a positive way tho. Whenever your actions and words inspire awe, then it's just an ego game and self validation seeking. If your actions inspire gratitude in others. That means that action is pure and helpful. Amen. Edit. Now what I've just sayed was to inspire awe or gratitude? Probably a mixture of both imo. It takes a lot of maturity and purification and spiritual growth to give advice to people without trying to impress them with your knowledge and feed your ego. It's a rare quality of an authentic master imo.
  19. When somebody gives a random advice on the forum.
