God is grand but not grandiose.

People you feel comfortable with you will get along with, everything will flow naturally. People you feel uncomfortable with, things won't go smoothly. Nothing will flow. How comfortable you feel around different people depend on how wide your heart is and how impersonal you are. When you have no shape, you fit it everywhere.

I feel like sharing a story about this topic and the power of giving. One late summer evening as I've spent my time watching the sunset on the beach while being absorbed in sun's rays and meditation. As the display of sun's show was over I was walking home and unexpectedly in the corner of my eyes I saw a woman 30ish+ maybe years of age sitting in a wheelchair asking for money. In that same moment our glance and eyes met each other and I thought to myself "wow, there's something very peculiar about her, as if she's glowing a little bit" and I walked away to where I was going. Shortly afterwards I thought to myself, maybe I should put some money in her basket. And I usually never do that. It's really rare that I would give money like that. My usual habit is just to ignore. But this time i felt different. I really liked her almost magical vibe around her. So I descided to go back and put some money her bucket. I only had 5euros with me in the pocket. So I just took all I had and went back to give it away. There was something written on the bucket, I think it was a describtion of her illness or something but I didn't get a chance to really look at it and read it. I just got near her as she was holding the bucket in her hands closely. I really got a chance to look her closely in the eyes and put the money. Looked at her. She says to me lovingly with a soft voice "I wish you health and wellneing". I gently smiled not saying anything and moved on. After this interaction I immediately feel something warm inside me. And as I focus on that warm-loving feeling in my heart I find myself breaking into tears... tears are just flowing without any explanation . A burst and release of such gratitude and grace and holiness took place that i could do nothing else but reverberate "thank you" with every cell in the body. That day I learnt how powerful giving can be. This miracle exchange that laster just a few moments probably meant a lot for her aswell. Be she well. Amen.

Can you prove you're love without saying you're love? You say you're love but what you demonstrate is defensiveness, bragging, restlessness, need for approval, complaining, you tend to get heated, etc. Many qualities of ego you display. It's something you can genuinely allow yourself to reflect on, sincerely, silently without any rush. Or you can give it no thought at all and hastly begin to defend the "I'm enlightened" narrative that you're so attached to (another quality of the ego btw) P.s. normally I wouldn't get involved in this. But it seems the stars have been aligning themselves for this moment to happen

Helping others to see where they are being dishonest requires gentleness not brutality. You have to be intelligent enough to navigate through their ego defenses, through their denial, fear and anger, to be there as their friend and not an enemy and provide a safe space for them to admit what they have denied for maybe a very long time. And do all that in most gentle way possible. Just brutal honesty is often not effective. And it comes usually from impatiance and frustration rather then wisdom.

Exciting. I think you will have a plan in the begining. And then after a short time all your plans will crumble and you'll be swept away in directions and encounters you have not imagined or ever would've planned for yourself. Then all that remains is to go with the flow ??‍♂️

I think a happy fulfilled person goes to sleep with a smile and wakes up with a smile:) and has no problems falling asleep. And naturally goes to sleep when it is time to go to sleep. When a person wakes up like a wreck it means his mind is not at peace but conflict. When a person can't fall asleep it also indicates a disturbed mind for whatever reason. When a person is not going to bed at the appropriate time but goes to sleep at 4am or smth. That is also often an indicator of deep unfulfillment, restlessness, unsatiated thirst, unhappiness. When a person sleeps too little, again psychological problems. When a person sleep for 12hours. Again indication that something is out of balance.

I found this video only today. About a guy who traveled the whole world from age 15 to 18 and then went to africa for more insane adventures lol. Reminded me of this thread.

Maybe by how well you sleep at night.
