A life dedicated to truth is a well spent life. A life lived in pursuit of egoic projections is life wasted.

The amount of that pain that you can transmute via acceptence, surrender, forgiveness and awareness. Is the amount of healing that occurs to the other person aswell i believe. I think meditation and prayer are the only ways to transmute this type of heavyness into light air.

That was 5mins of someone spitting on my face. But okei. Here's what I think... Perception of reality is more fundamental then all thoughts and all emotions. If you perceive reality as it is, undisturbed by the ego lenses and contitioning. You will see only beauty, holyness, love. And you will be in exctacy and loving thoughts for eternity. If you perceive reality from a place of ignorance. If your perception of reality is distorted and untrue. That one is in Maya, that one is in delusion. And such a one will be in suffering and thoughts and emotions will be likewise. Your level of consciousness decide how you perceive reality and how you think and feel. First you have to have a correct perception of who you are, who your brothers and sisters are and what reality is. Then thoughts and feelings will follow accordingly.

Mmm. That's not really true.. There can be energy from within. And there can be energy from outside. From the sun. From the food. From an enlightened master. From a holy book written from a place of truth. From the grace of ascended master. From a consecrated holy sites and places, temples etc. Like that you can receive much positive influence for your spiritual journey from many sources.

I don't disagree with this in general. I'm simply talking about something else. That there are forces in the universe that can hasten your spiritual growth and bless your journey in many ways. Grace is of immense value to a spiritual seeker

I think even my comment of me talking and giving advice to you like this could evoke those same feelings that you described in the thread. You can make me a practice tool to go beyond that

1. Become aware of the disturbed emotions and thoughts surrounding it. 2. Notice the mind's effort to defend the position as being superior 3. Consciously relinquish all effort to defend yourself and your position. 4. Breathe. And allow. 5 Breathe. And allow. 6. Breathe. And allow everything that is in your experience at that moment. This process will make subtle corrections on a deep levels of the mind and can feel like a release of deep ancient pain. But it's good. It's part of the spiritual process of going beyond the ego.

Because you stopped judging them and started to accept them for what they are. Gosh

It's futile to try and be loving. Just be aware and relinquish the judgements that are causing your heart to contract. There's nothing you can do about the love. But you can remove all the things that are blocking the love. And the love is there. As your natural quality and the way of being.

Refresh the page when it looks like you're logged out. And then a miracle will happpen.

In my personal view, christianity is indeed full of holes, flaws, corruption, alterations, mistranslation and bunch of other nonsense. But it's still real. The essence is that of truth. The spirit and the grace of Christ can still impact your life in a positive way even through a distorted teaching. Because it is not the words that matter. But the spirit behind the words that is most important. However you can find some deep and profound and pure Christian texts that aren't distorted if you search deeper. You just have to look beyond the surface a bit. If you're genuine and ready, the spirit of Christ itself will guide you to the next person, the next book, the next place to take you further on the path.

I think if you do the inquiry right you should feel a lot of tension build into the skull/forehead

Those peak states are not even important. If you do the practices daily for about 1,5-2 years (based on my experience and some other people I talked to) you'll begin to feel mysterious energy/prana/chi vibrating inside your body. Then your job is to make it grow more and more just by watering the plant with daily practices and eventually your entire body will be glowing and cracking with this insane energy. Then you'll be in a permanent lsd state. But it will be much more Devine and sagely and pure because it's sober. Even the atmosphere around would get charged with divinity. Btw not draining the Jing energy through various addictions would help to get there faster. But all in due time. All in due time...

I've tried both. The method of refining and cultivating subtle energies is definately legit. Intersting thing i found is that if self-inquiry is done properly. It leads to the same energetic transformation that you got get from energy work. So it's the same thing tackled from two different ends. I like both methods.
