I would disagree with this one. What you value is what you will create. If truth is your only value, you will create/behave only in alignment with what is true, and what is love. Sainthood is a natural outcome of wanting only truth, peace and love. And the enlightened one knows only truth is worth valuing. Only if a person values something other than truth can he turn his back on God's peace and choose to manifest anger, fear, suffering etc. Such a person cannot be called enlightened. For to value something else than truth is a sign of deep ignorance. -
That's true. But survival matters only because it serves spiritual growth. Survival for the sake of survival is a waste. Such a person is just occupying space then and killing other life to sustain itself to do what? To drown in addictions and suffering?

Recognition that absolute is everything is not done by the "someone".. It is Life that becomes more aware of itself. But in some bodies it happens to a deeper degree than others. And one's behavior shows how much awareness of the truth is in a particular body or "person" (for lack of a better word) -

It doesn't matter. Yes. But if you were aware of it. It would reflect itself in your actions. But you're not aware of the truth. It's just something you arrived at with your intellect. -

Doesn’t look like to me. It's not a fancy jazz story. It's a reality that can be observed and confirmed to be true. -

It's one thing to say that. It's another thing to be aware of that. And the behavior will reflect if one is really aware of truth or not. -

Yes but you can be unaware of this fact. And that leads to all the problems of ignorance. And there is a way to tell who is really aware of this fact or no. -

Here's something worth contemplating and is very relevant to this topic. "Your behavior is a reflection of your beliefs." Resistance indicates a belief that reality is not perfect and that you need to protect yourself from something outside of you. This small contemplation would do miracles if you but allowed yourself to chew on it for a moment at least. -

I'm saying the Absolute is not aware that it is everything. The absolute believes itself to be a seperate entity (ego). And resistance is a result of that. This false belief in seperate entity is also called ignorance. Not enlightenment. -

There is nobody to drop resistence. Resistance is a consequence of what you believe reality to be. If you truly knew reality to be perfect. There would be no resistance. That's how you can know if your insights are true or not. -

"Ego is doing the resistance." Rephrased it for you. -

Here's another thing worth expressing. 1. Resistance is a consequence of your belief system. 2. If you believe something is not okay. There will be resistance. 3. If you're aware all things are perfect. There is no resistance anymore. If you say all things are perfect and still resist things. That means the insight is not genuine. It's just a new catch phrase that you learned somewhere. Good lord....... -

It's true that everything is already whole and complete. But if you were really aware of this fact. And not just saying it because it makes sense. All resistance would drop away. And since that didn't happen yet. It means some part of your mind still believes something is not okay, something needs to to be controlled. -
Salvijus replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Nope. Ego is there doing the resistance. This is not a belief. This phenomena can be observed. -
Salvijus replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That was nowhere near simple 😂 -

You don’t need to accept anything. You just need to stop resisting things. Because if you resist that means you have not realized yet that everything is perfect. -
I'm just going to let this go...

Being a bad influence on people is nothing new. That doesn't make it valid somehow.

Mmm. I found it a bit hard to follow your explanation. But... You can definitely have a sense of self(ego) and then it can go away. Sense of self(ego) is constructed through resistance. If perfect acceptance comes, resistence is gone. Dense sense of self is gone. Only pure space of awareness beyond any quality is left. That beyond any quality of awareness is the same as no self in some teachings. -
Here's another way to debunk this. Only going in the direction that your heart truly wants matters. For to go against the heart is suffering. And if one follows the deepest desire of their heart. The deepest desire of everyone's heart is God. Bam Case closed.

Okay I'll present my case for why only spirit development all that matters. Here's my argument. Only what is true is valuable. Every effort spent on pampering egoic desires is effort wasted. If we eliminate all the waste. We get only spirituality related activities. Love inspired activities. Bam Case closed.

To be more accurate. It is the resistance to pain that creates a dense sense of self. And the resistance is suffering. It is exactly the same thing as no self. Congrats on getting that haha. -
Care to elaborate?

Salvijus replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well who is suffering becomes the question. Is awareness suffering the pain or pain is arising in the body and then the ego(dense sense of self) reacts to. And is awareness affected by all this drama? Or is awareness just impartial witness of it all? -
Salvijus replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It is. It is your true self - impersonal awareness beyond all shapes/densities/qualities. Whereas your sense of self that has a quality and density to it is personal. It is ego. A mask. We confuse ourselves with the mask. But behind the mask there is awareness in which the dense sense of self is seen. That space beyond all shapes in which every shape arise is what would be called your true self in classical spirituality.
