I definitely think it's unlikely that thoughts would be left. But I don't think death is eternal ending, I mean for sure it COULD be, but I think it's more logical that it isn't. My logical reasoning has always been: If I have 1 time become something from nothing, and then when the time comes to return to nothing, why shouldn't it be possible to become something again, since this phenomena has already happened before. -
Just a thought: What do you guys think about tantra? I've never really understood it.

Mindfulness and meditation are powerful resources in assisting with negative emotions I can tell you.

Anti-depressants may be a positive force for some. Even necessary. Although, I would imagine that for some, there are other things that could be done instead of pills. I have experience with SSRI, SNRI. The result was rather undesirable. I also have experience with benzodiazepines, which I have found to be more useful as a resource. I had different kinds, used as sleep aid and for anxiety. Currently, I am trying out medication containing melatonin.* Will see how this plays out. *(Yes, melatonin is fucking illegal here in Sweden.. God, I truly loathe drug laws.)

What is your take on Leo's video about pickup?
-
Probably No Probably Yes Probably Yes This one may be a possible scenario, however I don't think it's a set one.
-
I think you should definitely learn how to interact with the opposite sex. Learn how to infuse social interactions with the most fun for both parties. I disagree on the aversion people seem to have for this pickup thing. In any case, the kind of pickup-mentality that RSD is navigating with. Now, I haven't even been doing pickup, so I am inexperienced with an internal perspective. (And only been watching pickup concepts for about 4 months) However, I still feel I have a rather strong dissent here.

Defaq I never understood this uprising hysteria about Porn. But if it helped you, more power to ya. I think it would be the opposite for me ^^ It seems amazing though, that you received so many benefits from just this refraining from this one thing. Great that you got them, but I have hard time* believing it was a direct result from this commitment. *No, no pun intended.

Hey there man. My take is: just make sure you are hydrated, and it shouldn't really be an issue. I've heard that it both causes cancer and prevents it, so I'm not really sure what to believe. But sources I kind of trust has endorsed this viewpoint of the harmlessness from coffee, as long as you also drink a lot of water. So I go with that. I usually drink about 1-2 cups a day, sometimes more. I try to avoid it later on the day though, to decrease the chance of my sleep insomnia fucking with me unnecessarily much.

I can sort of relate, even though I haven't even started yet. Interesting reads.

Fasting is not, from what I've read, unhealthy. It is actually the opposite.
-
Not sure if fasting is the discussion topic here, But, I can grant you that in my studies of fasting, I've come to the conclusion that it is basically awesome!

Hey man. I feel somewhat qualified to speak out on this, since I've read quite some about it. In short - Egg consumption is NOT dangerous for your health, even in large quantities. It is probable that it's actually the opposite. Elaboration: I will begin by a disclaimer that my understanding may be inaccurate, so even though I'm pretty sure of this, it may of course still be faulty. Alright, so lets explore cholesterol. To start to understand this, we need to first pierce one bubble of ignorance. A lot of people think that there is only one form of cholesterol. And, that having a high cholesterol is bad. How this narrative has been spread is profoundly dishonest. What this oversimplification has brought is lucrative business models both within the medical field (For example, a medicine called statins), as well as in other industries. Such as those who wish to not have their products exposed as the health-declining actors they are. (Think of like basically every product with sugar in it, or carbohydrates, like pasta and bread) The truth is, in a somewhat simplified model, that there are three types of cholesterol: VLDL Very Low Density Lipoprotein LDL Low Density Lipoprotein HDL High Density Lipoprotein (Don't think of the names for these too much, it's enough to remember the acronyms.) What now? Different types of cholesterol..? Ah.. tad annoying, I thought it only were one .... Don't worry, it's rather easy to understand. VLDL is just cholesterol that becomes LDL, don't think about this guy more. LDL is the generally thought of as "the bad cholesterol"* HDL is in general the good one. Ok. So high amounts of LDL causes heart-disease and high amounts of HDL lower it. How do we get more of the good HDL then? BY EATING SATURATED FAT. Such as eggs. A diet of saturated fat increases the amount of positive HDL cholesterol. A diet of carbohydrates increases the amount of negative LDL cholesterol. Wait, so then why has there been all this talk about this one cholesterol, and that having high of it is bad? Because, what they've done there is added all these three types together, forming one single set of number. And since we now know that they have different properties (HDL is good and LDL bad), the result displayed by this method is close to completely irrelevant. There it is. Any questions, send them away. (*Clarification: Even though it's often deemed that LDL is the "bad guy", your body is unable to sustain life without a small amount of these guys around.)

Hey man. The Power Of Now - Eckhart Tolle. Preferably the audiobook - Just listen and sit back, relax... It allowed me to get up when I was down.

One thought for a title could be: Unorthodox resources for enlightenment work (Psychedelics)
-
I'm not sure if this has been covered in his videos already. If not, I think this one could be helpful. Maybe it's hard to outline every single reason people get pulled back again. But maybe it's possible in more general terms. Actually I can really see value in this one. Spiritual trouble-shooting.
-
Don't even need that disclaimer at the end. Know this people, it is extremely powerful no matter how you use it. Extreme positivity. Or extreme negativity. Please, if you're considering any psychedelics, INFORM YOURSELF WITH RESEARCH BEFORE. https://www.erowid.org/, is a trusted source I believe if you look around. Believe me, you will not be happy if you skip this. It doesn't go away for about 8 hours.

I was thinking about this as well. Hope there's enough people that would be interested in this to make it happen sometime. I attribute my experiences on LSD hugely for assisting in breaking patterns and being open to new information. Not saying that U NEED DRUGS MAN IF U WANNA BE BETTER But it is a, imo, an extremely powerful resource if used correctly and treated with respect.

Yes, good addition my friend. However, I would consider the Ego as an advanced mechanism for survival. Not saying that it is the only instinct for this aspiration of being alive though. -

Yes. However I think it is important to reconcile the difference between cause and effect, and purpose. I'm onboard with the belief of evolution and mechanisms for survival. I'm not so sure where I stand on purpose though. What do you think about an objective purpose? What is the purpose of running away from the tiger, why should you survive? Inevitably, the sun will swallow the earth. -
I was thinking about this too. But atleast time wasted here is better then time wasted in for example video-gaming. NO LET ME HAVE MY RATIONALIZATIONS STFU - - moderator pls ban me if i spend too much time her kthx

I believe it could be the success of an deeply rooted unhappy ego. Here's some words I've written down some time ago, for purpose of potential use at music composition. No name: "It's either you or me There will be one death Or two Which will it be. Kill yourself. Or kill the thought of killing yourself. Either way is fine Either way is fine You will cease to exist." Mental Suicide: "Commit suicide In order to survive Kill your --- self If you want to live The suicidal person you are Needs to be killed Or it will take you with it" -

Binaural beats, cool. For me, it's mostly without music. But it's nice to use sound too. (Love to listen to Shpongle and drift away) Come thinking about it, when I put on recordings of rain, it sometimes inspires a meditational setting. What do you think of guided meditations? -

I'd imagine that end of illusion means truth. Are you saying that it is only possible that one can be enlightened as the manifestation as a humanbeing? -

Is physical death forced instantaneous enlightenment?
