What God is - is what is happening right now, at this moment, on this forum. -

God can do whatever God wants. Its one of the perks of being God. And by all appearances what God wants to do right now is jerk himself off an internet forum and yell at himself over who is having the better dream. -

It cannot be explained it. By design. If there was a perfect explanation (rather than really good analogies), it would have been explained already. If there was a logic, there wouldn't be a mystery. If the mystery wasn't there, you wouldn't know to go looking into it. See how that works? It can only be known through direct experience. I pray that you get the huge sigh of relief oh crap I just forgot lolololol version. -

Can I just get the cheat notes version of whatever ancient knowledge this guy is hyper intellectualizing like he came with it? -

Buddhism is a clue. Non duality is a clue. Quantum physics is a clue. Psychedelics are a clue. Gnostic Christianity is a clue, the word 'universe' is a clue, the all seeing eye atop the pyramid on the back of the ONE dollar bill is a clue, the Matrix movie is a clue, Plato is a clue and on and on it goes. Don't make Buddhism something it isn't, just start connecting dots... -

Your imaginary friend Carl Jung wants to remind you to embrace that shadow cuz as long as you remain ignorant of your true nature you're going to end up becoming what you hate except a hundred times worse. "If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you." -

Gods experience is others having experiences. You are one of them. You are also god. I know its unbelievable but until you overcome the paradox of believing the unbelievable you're gonna be seeking forever. -

Yes you are really in denial. You are god talking to yourself and totally convinced its two people having a conversation on this thing called the internet. You don't think god can actually pull that off. That's why you're here asking about it while it happens in your experience. -
Willy Phallicus replied to Toranvor's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What you're talking about is happening right now in front of your face and you're simply in denial about it. Let that sink in. -

Pythagoras, where we get numbers from, taught that the first great lie is 2 and from there all others follow. I'm using that reference because it is somewhat of a math problem. You can't get outside of infinity. Now I suppose you could ask why is that impossible for the omnipotent creator but the when the creator is that very infinity you're talking about then maybe you could see, the uhhhmm problem. You can't have two everythings. Just how it is. Then the question of does that really matter when you can literally just dream up the other minds scenario and play it like it was 100% real to the point where even you can't tell the difference as its creator and get totally lost in it. -

Yeah its some massive coincidence that psychedelics somehow exist and provide a cheat code short cut to the same exact revelatory information that's been around since forever and others arrive at without psychedelic use. -

It's the opposite - absolute consciousness and clarity. Well Im still here so that's not how it went. As I explained there is a weighing of options that plays out over several long minutes and with that aforementioned clarity I realize there is nowhere else I would rather be and I am already doing exactly what I want. -

The lesson of religion is don't make a religion out of anything because all religion is fucking stupid. -

Some time after ego submission when Im laughing off physical death...I dont know how to properly explain it...but basically its like "are ya ready to go?" Like I know I can die right there and move into a world of my own creation without a hitch. Towards the end of every big shroom trip I take there are points where my breathing is drastically slowed to a point where I have not taken a breath for a solid two minutes and Ill get some kind of signal that if I want to...erm..leave, just dont take another breath. No pain, no fear, no angst. If I want to stay, just breathe. In every scenario Im called back because it actually feels more exciting to me to finish off and become the hero of this human story. Like the pay off for staying will be just rewarding as anything else I could dream of and this is always accompanied by a sense of everything being perfect and I am already precisely where I want to be, doing exactly what I want and need to do. Then god pats me on the head and salutes my perseverance, courage and strength. I feel its worth noting that in studies of suicide survivors, bridge jumpers in particular, their immediate first thought after leaping is more or less "I made the wrong decision here". They instantly regret trying to kill themselves while in the act. Here's what I would say - if its just going to be a pity party and add to the misery (which there is already enough of) then find a way to keep going because in some way you would be forsaking the gift and you definitely don't to step into the abyss of eternity with a bitch heart and subservient bitch mentality. -

Being completely fucked is not without value because some truths only emerge when there is nothing left to do and nowhere to run. Suffering leads to wisdom and wisdom leads to evolution. The goal is not to spare yourself the horror or save yourself from the suffering - nor is it to be redeemed so as to return to perfect bliss - the goal is to make the suffering of existence productive - to use it to give substance to the fluff that is you in order to forge your soul and liberate your spirit. -

If there was no threat of hell I would have blown my fuckin head off a long time ago. Another part of me says there's nothing to lose because there's nothing to save. I don't really believe any of that but just in case this experience is not just an accidental absurdity but rather a gift given in good faith through good will by a living transcendence of pure freedom and infinitely exquisite and boundless joy that holds a promise too marvelous to be imagined, it might be worth sticking around to see it through. So that's what I hang my hat on these days. -

We're speaking the same language whether you are cognizant of it or not. You can go beyond the system but you cant bring the beyond back with you to give to anyone else. So all the great teachers and philosophers of the past and present are just a bunch of clueless hacks who don't have a clue and never did? It could also be undebatable evidence that there is no logical proof. Just go ask the atheists for their thoughts on the matter, they love to remind everyone what logic has to say about the existence of god. Logic and the pondering of the mysteries has been around since the hills were young and some very great minds have weighed in on the topic of Being and they all pretty much say this shit can't be grasped if you're clutching your ego and using its logic to understand something that, by definition, is completely illogical. Edit: Yes, science and its logic does indeed say its a miracle life exists except they don't call it a miracle. -
Willy Phallicus replied to Monster Energy's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
And reasoning very much asserts that you can't approach the divine through logic and the evidence for that is that it's never been done. If that's not enough evidence for you, I dont know what to tell you. Logic is a branch of science or a science unto itself. According to scientific logic nothing should exist but nevertheless we are here anyway by total fluke and coincidence thanks to complex life forming by pure happenstance for no reason at all. -
Willy Phallicus replied to Monster Energy's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What are my options lol? No one can explain the big bang logically but they still wont call it a miracle. Reasoning only takes you so far and then something else thats not reasoning has to take over. If you disagree, I can live with that. -
Willy Phallicus replied to Monster Energy's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Are you offering to rationally and logically explain how I am not a drop in the ocean but the ocean in a drop? Because Im pretty sure that metaphor was employed because such a thing cannot be grasped by the logical mind - only the mind capable of going beyond logic. -
Willy Phallicus replied to Monster Energy's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
On the contrary I see logic for the illusion that it is. Its a barrier I put there so I would know the mystery exists so I would be tempted to go beyond logic and tackle the mystery. Im using logic to express myself, not the other way around. I can tell you the divine exists, I can't prove it to you logically. Oh well, lol at me I guess. I guess after 5000 years of spiritual discourse we'll have the logic to pwn atheists and non believers any minute now seeing as its just undiscovered logic no one has thought of yet as opposed to being non existent in the first place. Think of all the centuries thinkers and readers have wasted on philosophy when the simple logic of gods existence and nature was there the whole time. Im saying if logic could explain it then it would have explained it already. Its illogical to think otherwise. Ironic, eh?
