Yep, that's pretty much it. You still play the game (what choice do you really have) but you're no longer attached. Every once in a while you get some "downloads" that remind you of who you truly are and that everything is gonna be okay. More than okay.

There is zero shame in playing the survival game. Every man has to eat, shit, sleep and requires shelter from the savage beast. You cant evolve if you're dead. Everyone needs basic necessities and it is no crime to do the necessary (work your wage slave job) in order to provide them. As it is with anything else, its what you're doing to survive, how and why. If you're driven by wealth, prestige and fame you're not going to have enough time or energy for the middle path and most likely have no problem driving buses over people for personal gain. If you're a fentanyl dealer that sleeps easy at night you're probably not putting to much effort into your eternal soul. I do what I gotta do to keep a roof over my head but Im not doing that just to survive. Im not overly obsessed or attached to survival because its guaranteed that my number is gonna get punched one way or another. No one gets out of here alive.

It wasn't. The lesson was psychedelics are only temporary insights at best. I can't really argue the point. Before I gave them up, my last few big trips that was essentially the message I was getting. Stop going back to school and just integrate the lessons.

In my individual case a better way of putting it would be I don't act like I am conscious of it despite being aware of it. I'm here so I might as well enjoy the dream but I don't take it as seriously as I once did - I stopped taking everything personally. One foot on the ground one stepping towards the clouds if you will. I just try to stay present and trust the process - neither awake or asleep - in the world but not of it. Yeah but Im imagining that. Turns out God really can do anything - like convince us this shit is real - complete with "others". Holy shit God is omnipotent, who woulda guessed. Not too many earthlings, that's for sure. Never give God enough credit lol. No wonder all their gods are assholes who complain about humans all the time.

As long as the dreamer is dreaming the human and its world I'd say that's already the case.

I experience it as a physical thing but I know its something else entirely. I experience them as separate but ultimately, no. Unfortunately, no. Still working on this one but I try to follow The Golden Rule and choose my reactions to the external rather than reacting from my conditioning. I don't. Mostly human, sometimes God. The dream of a bored and lonely god.

Anything can become an addiction or obsession. My analogy works because if porn spirals into an addiction then you're using that fire destructively.

I can use fire to warm my home and cook a meal for my family or I can burn down my neighbors house with it. Its all in how its being used.

Yeah the idea that you need drugs or years of dedication to a specific discipline is just that, an idea. Some people just wake up spontaneously without seeking at all.

Has anyone, post ego submission, tried talking to another human being? When my ego is hiding in the corner and I am talking to a loved one in a totally coherent yet liberated state I have the eyes to see. Yes, of course she has her own mind but only because I want her to have her own mind - that's the game Im playing - the separation game. When the veil is lifted you dont see her mind and or even my mind you just see mind. Or mindfulness if you prefer but regardless of whatever wholly inadequate label you want to use (like solipsism) that's whats happening. Its just you. There are no other gods.
