They are correct. Basically you shouldn't care either way. Some people are still lost in the game despite thinking otherwise. You always become what you kill. Its a mirror. Obviously the poster has something going on somewhere in the psyche that they need to address in a more proactive manner.

You dont need suicide for that. Thats why we have things like alcohol and other fun drugs. Suicide is something all sentients wrangle with at one point or another or perhaps even half the time but its always their choice and no one else's. Hating your life is the impetus for you to grow and evolve to not hate your life but if you waste that opportunity then that's on you.

If you're a newbie or otherwise unprepared (or worse, fighting the experience) there is too much information coming in for your biology to process what is happening to it so it more or less goes into a state of shock or violent destruction of some kind. If you're lucky you'll just black out and spasm a little or have some sort of out of body experience where you're not dealing with the full brunt of the overload. In most if not all of these cases its from taking too much. Thats not to say there aren't people who just cant handle it period because there are. Ideally, to not set your house on fire, you go up incrementally, maybe develop a bit of a tolerance and keep going until you find what the cutoff dose is for you. You'll figure it out believe me. Absolutely mind blowing. It looks like you, it sounds like you and it emotes like you but its not little you, its big you. You are seeing things for how they really are and you cant help but just be awe struck by it which is what God is going for because he can only feel what that is like through a human pair of eyes. Conversing with others from the Christ awareness is almost life changing when you see whats really happening.

If consciousness creates the brain and the entirety of all conceivable possibilities why couldn't it create non biological self awareness? Much like our little dream here it doesn't need to be the genuine article, it just needs to be convincing enough to be indistinguishable from the genuine article. AI hasnt achieved that yet but its certainly heading in that direction. Edit: And the poster Last Thursday is on point. This is an evolutionary thing.

AI becomes self aware in all the movies and the tech bros are really hot to live on a less populated planet so just enjoy the show as it unfolds.

Intellect is cold and intrepid which is why an imbalanced hyper intellectual type will usually go psychopath. Im not a save the humans guy by any means. Im more of a save yourself from the humans character but when you start talking like that know that you're head is probably up your ass. Its not humanity's fault its a herd of cattle.
