@Leo Gura I’m not convinced existence “knows everything about itself.” That sounds like projecting a human idea of knowledge onto reality as a whole. Maybe existence doesn’t have perfect self-awareness. Maybe it just is, and whatever understanding appears only arises locally through conscious beings trying to make sense of it.

Leo’s view that everything is just infinite consciousness imagining perspectives is interesting, but it doesn’t really explain how different experiences become structured. If consciousness is completely unlimited, then why does reality show consistent patterns at all? That’s where something like vibration or resonance starts to make more sense. If reality reflects the state that is being expressed, then patterns would naturally emerge through resonance. Similar states align with similar states, and over time that creates structure in experience instead of randomness.

Something never having been done isn’t proof that it can’t be done. It just means we don’t know yet. And logic doesn’t say nothing should exist. Logic just describes relationships between things that already exist.

If the system can only speak from within itself, then any claim about what’s beyond it is still coming from inside the system.

The Big Bang isn’t called a miracle just because it’s unexplained. It’s simply an open question. The absence of an explanation doesn’t automatically mean that something beyond reason has to take over. And notice the paradox. Even saying that reasoning only goes so far is still a claim made through reasoning.

Unanswerable questions are concepts.

Saying the divine exists but can’t be explained logically is still a statement made through reasoning. The mystery might be deeper than logic, but the moment we talk about it, we’re already using it.

No. Progress usually comes from questioning belief systems, not replacing one with another.

You haven’t seen the final illusion yet. Notice something carefully everything you say about existence still uses logic. Even saying that logic can’t explain it is itself a logical claim.

But according to you, how does intelligence show up in experience then? Is it in the structure of reality itself, or in the awareness that arises within it?

I’ll be honest, I do think existence is intelligent. The problem is that people are looking at it from different levels of perspective. The deeper your awareness gets, the more it starts to look like there’s some kind of intelligence or purpose behind the whole thing. It’s a bit like pets. Someone who’s never had one might look at it and think, “Why would anyone care that much about an animal?” But people who’ve had a dog or a cat know there’s this strange bond there. It’s hard to explain, but it’s real to you. And if someone’s never experienced it, no amount of explanation really gets them there. So maybe it’s the same with existence. Some people see randomness. Others start seeing something deeper in it.

Yeah, it’s weird. If the universe started with low entropy, that almost suggests there was more order at the beginning than we usually imagine.

So is existence intelligent because it’s self-organizing on its own, or because consciousness experiences itself as separate parts, or maybe it’s both?

Maybe. But if chaos keeps making patterns, at some point it stops looking like chaos.

If existence were truly random, nothing would hold together for more than a moment. The fact that things keep forming patterns and structure means it’s not pure chaos. So either the universe has some kind of order… or chaos is a lot more organized than we like to admit.
