Ghosting someone is worse than blocking.

If there’s no reason to stay in contact, I’d block and delete. Not out of spite, just because keeping the door open makes moving on harder. Out of sight, out of mind. Keep a few pictures if they mean something, but I wouldn’t keep an entire archive of someone I’m trying to move on from.

Maybe because realizing you’re everything is easier than realizing you control everything. Omnipresence and omniscience can happen without needing to feel like you’re in control. Omnipotence is a whole different beast. Maybe there’s simply no one left to drive the car.

I get it. But if staying out of politics is suddenly a political statement, we’ve officially lost the plot. He’s a musician. Let him make music without turning every song into a referendum.

Option C sounds about right. I’m not picking a team just because people demand one. I can think both sides are wrong without joining the fan club.

I’ll give you that. Logic doesn’t always work when people are that attached to their beliefs. Sometimes they only care when it hits their ego or wallet. But there’s a difference between consequences and just hurting people for the sake of it.

He’s allowed to have a bad day. Not everything needs to be a PR strategy. If people leave because he won’t say what they want, that’s their choice. He’s still Ed Sheeran, not the United Nations.

If you need to hurt people to make your point, maybe your point isn’t that strong.

Then be angry at the people who made that decision. But somehow you’ve turned it into a personal obligation for Ed Sheeran to become your political spokesperson. He’s a musician, not your activist on demand.

Or maybe not everyone who disagrees with you is stupid or brainwashed. Sometimes people just see things differently. He doesn’t need to explain himself. His music isn’t a political platform, and he doesn’t owe anyone a political statement just because he has a huge following. Being an artist doesn’t mean you have to turn every concert into a political statement. If you enjoy his music, enjoy the music. If you want political activism, find a politician.
