I think you’re taking the whole “nature’s goal is reproduction” thing a little too literally. I never said a woman consciously spends her entire life trying to manipulate men into reproducing, or that every single thing she does is about getting a man. Obviously women have lives, relationships, interests and personalities that have nothing to do with reproduction. My point was about the deeper biological drives that can shape attraction, sexuality and behavior during the reproductive years. And the part where you start psychoanalyzing me is honestly more interesting than your actual argument. You can disagree with my view without assuming that I’m secretly writing all this because I’m powerless or bitter toward women. That’s just mind-reading.

Yeah, I agree men can be way more direct and violent. I’m not saying one sex is more evil than the other. I’m just talking about different ways of using power. Men tend to be more direct, while women can be more subtle and indirect. And honestly, that can be harder to see because you don’t always realize you’re being influenced until it’s already happened.

I didn’t mean “nature” as in women are somehow separate from humanity. I mean human nature includes instincts that we don’t always like to admit are there. I’m just looking at the darker, more instinctive side of it.

Yeah, men are too. I just think women have an easier time using certain forms of manipulation, and the temptation can be much stronger for men when it comes to women.

Yeah, but that actually proves my point more than it disproves it. Men get blinded by desire, absolutely. A man sees a beautiful woman and suddenly his brain starts writing poetry for a biological agenda. I’m not saying women are sitting there like cartoon villains plotting against men. I’m saying the instincts underneath the whole thing are far less romantic than we like to believe. The scary part is that neither side has to be consciously manipulating anyone. Biology does the dirty work for us.

I’m not really trying to present this as a scientific claim with a bunch of statistics behind it. It’s a perspective I came to through my own experiences and by paying attention to patterns I kept seeing.

You’re making this way more complicated than it needs to be. You’re imagining God as some infinite cosmic storage unit where every possible experience is sitting there simultaneously. Cute idea, but that’s still the finite mind trying to put Infinity into a box. Infinity isn’t a really, really big thing. It’s the absence of limitation. There isn’t some giant God somewhere containing your experience, my experience, and everyone’s experience like files on a hard drive. And here’s where it gets really inconvenient: you’re assuming there’s a separate “you” having an experience in the first place. Look closely. Where exactly is this “you” that owns the experience? You have thoughts, sensations, images, emotions, perceptions. But where is the separate entity experiencing them? That’s the rabbit hole. And no, I wouldn’t say that when I’m reading your message, your consciousness suddenly stops existing and becomes a character inside my imagination. That’s just solipsism turned into another conceptual fantasy. You’re still imagining two separate people and then trying to figure out which one gets to be “real.” From the absolute perspective, there aren’t multiple independent consciousnesses. There is Consciousness. But don’t turn that into another belief system either. If you haven’t directly realized it, you’re just playing metaphysics with words. Same thing with reincarnation. You’re imagining God as a cosmic person who dies, gets bored, and respawns somewhere else. That’s not what Infinity means. God doesn’t travel from one form to another. There aren’t actually separate forms outside of Consciousness in the first place. Could reality manifest in ways your human mind can’t even imagine? Obviously. If Reality is Infinite, your five senses and monkey brain aren’t exactly going to be the final authority on what’s possible. But “maybe there are spiritual dimensions” is still just a thought. Don’t confuse imagination with realization. And the technology stuff is fascinating, but don’t make the classic mistake of thinking more technology automatically means more Truth. Maybe we’ll connect brains. Maybe we’ll merge sensory streams. Maybe we’ll create entirely new senses and interact with aspects of reality humans currently can’t perceive. Great. You could connect a billion brains together and you’d still be modifying the contents of consciousness. You wouldn’t manufacture Consciousness itself. And if one day we build a sensor that detects dark matter directly, congratulations. You’ve expanded the human interface with reality. You haven’t necessarily discovered God. That’s the part I’d keep coming back to. You’re trying to understand Infinity by building a better mental model of Infinity. That’s like trying to swallow the ocean with a teaspoon. So instead of asking what God is going to reincarnate into, or how many dimensions God can fit inside, investigate the one thing that’s actually undeniable right now: You’re conscious. Before you explain it, before you call it “my consciousness,” before you invent a theory about God look at what is actually here. -
You’re jumping straight to “you’re scared of intimacy” because it’s easier than actually addressing what I’m saying. I’m not saying women consciously sit around trying to manipulate men. That’s not even the point. Evolution doesn’t need you to be conscious of what it’s doing. That’s what makes it interesting. A woman can genuinely feel love, tenderness and vulnerability while those same traits can still have an evolutionary function. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. And obviously men have their own strategies and ways of being deceptive. I’m not denying that. I’m saying you’re treating conscious intent as if it’s the only form of deception that matters. Maybe my view is cynical. I’ll take that. But “you’re just scared of women” doesn’t really refute anything I said.

My point is that something doesn’t have to cause the same physical damage as a drug to be extremely difficult to escape. For me, porn addiction was an incredibly powerful compulsive cycle, and I experienced it as worse than anything else I had gone through. So yes, I could have communicated that distinction better. But I don’t think it’s accurate to say my statement tells us nothing about how difficult it was to escape. That’s specifically what I was trying to describe from my own experience. -

Actually, we put ugly people in jail. Their actions are ugly, that’s why we put them in jail. You almost got me, phew. -

Exactly. When you’re truly addicted, people who use it casually have no idea what the struggle feels like. The urge can feel like torture, but that’s where the real work begins. You stop running from it, you face it, and you realize an urge only controls you if you let it. -

I was talking about how difficult it can be to escape, not claiming porn is more damaging than drugs in every sense. If you interpreted “not even close” as a claim about overall harm, then you misunderstood what I meant. -

I’m really sorry to hear that. I genuinely hope you become free from this. But at the level you’re at, logic alone won’t be enough. The ego will tell you anything to keep you trapped, even things like, “Maybe I actually want to be a slave to porn,” or “I don’t want to feel whole without external experiences.” It’s a curse, and it can make you feel like you’re the only person in the world suffering this deeply, like everyone else is nowhere near your level of pain. It may even make you resent women and convince you that they took your life force from you. But that’s another illusion. The problem isn’t the external world. It’s your relationship to it. The ego will do everything it can to make you feel hopeless or convince you that porn is freedom. You have to see through it. -

That might work when you’re just starting to get addicted. But when you’re actually deep in it, logic isn’t always enough. You can know exactly what you’re doing and exactly how you’ll feel afterward, and still do it. Because the mind doesn’t just say, “Do it.” It starts bargaining. “One last time.” “You’ll never feel this good again if you quit.” “You can stop tomorrow.” You already know the consequences. The addiction just doesn’t care. It knows exactly what to say to keep you coming back. That’s when simply “thinking about it” stops being enough. You have to break the whole pattern, not just argue with the urge.
